1 Chronicles 24
1 These are also the diuisions of the sonnes of Aaron: The sonnes of Aaron were Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the Priestes office.

3 And Dauid distributed them, euen Zadok of the sonnes of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sonnes of Ithamar according to their offices in their ministration.
Daudi pamoja na Zadoki, uzao wa Eleazari, na Ahimeleki, uzao wa Ithamari, waliwagawanya katika makundi yao ya kazi kama makuhani.
4 And there were found more of the sonnes of Eleazar by the number of men, then of the sonnes of Ithamar. and they deuided them, to wit, among the sonnes of Eleazar, sixteene heads, according to the houshould of their fathers, and among ye sonnes of Ithamar, according to the housholde of their fathers, eight.
Kulikuwa na wanaume viongozi zaidi kati ya uzao wa Eleazari kuliko kati ya uzao wa Ithamari, kwahiyo waligawanya uzao wa Eleazari katika makundi kumi na sita. Walifanya hivyo na viongozi wa ukoo na uzao wa Ithamari. Magawanyo haya yalikuwa nane kwa idadi, sambamba na koo zao.
5 Thus they distributed them by lot the one from the other, and so the rulers of the Sanctuarie and the rulers of the house of God were of the sonnes of Eleazar and of the sonnes of Ithamar.
Waliwagawanya bila upendeleo kwa kura, kwa kuwa walikuwa waamuzi watakatifu na waamuzi wa Mungu, kutoka pande zote uzao wa Eleazari na uzao wa Ithamari.
6 And Shemaiah the sonne of Nethaneel the scribe of the Leuites, wrote them before ye King and the princes, and Zadok the Priest, and Ahimelech the sonne of Abiathar, and before ye chiefe fathers of the Priests and of the Leuites, one familie being reserued for Eleazar, and another reserued for Ithamar.
Shemaia mwana wa Nethaneli mwandishi, Mlawi, aliandika majina yao mbele ya mfalme, muamuzi, kuhani Zadoki, Ahimeleki mwana wa Abiathari, na viongozi wa makuhani na familia za Walawi. Ukoo mmoja ulichaguliwa kwa kura kutoka uzao wa Eleazari, na kisha uliofata utachaguliwa kutoka uzao wa Ithhamari.
7 And the first lot fell to Iehoiarib, and the second to Iedaiah,

8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
ya tatu kwa Harimu, ya nne kwa Seorimu,
9 The fifth to Malchiiah, the sixt to Miiamin,

10 The seuenth to Hakkoz, the eight to Abiiah,
ya saba kwa Hakozi, ya nane kwa Abija,
11 The ninth to Ieshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
ya tisa kwa Yeshua, ya kumi kwa Shekania,
12 The eleuenth to Eliashib, the twelft to Iakim,
ya kumi na moja kwa Eliashibu, ya kumi na mbili kwa Yakimu,
13 The thirteenth to Huppa, the fouretenth to Ieshebeab,
ya kumi na tatu kwa Hupa, ya kumi na nne kwa Yesheheabu,
14 The fiftenth to Bilgah, the sixtenth to Immer,
ya kumi na tano kwa Biliga, ya kumi na sita kwa Imma,
15 The seuententh to Hezir, the eightenth to Happizzer,
ya kumi na saba kwa Heziri, ya kumi na nane kwa Hapizezi,
16 The ninetenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Iehezekel,
ya kumi na tisa kwa Pethaia, ya ishirini kwa Yehezikeli,
17 The one and twentie to Iachin, the two and twentie to Gamul,
ya ishirini na moja kwa Yakini, ya ishirini na mbili kwa Gamuli,
18 The three and twentie to Deliah, the foure and twentie to Maaziah.
ya ishirini na tatu kwa Delaia, na ya ishirini na nne kwa Maazia.
19 These were their orders according to their offices, when they entred into the house of the Lord according to their custome vnder the hande of Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
Hii ilikuwa taratibu ya utumishi wao, walipo kuja kwenye nyumba ya Yahweh, wakifuata utaratibu waliopewa na Aruni babu yao, kama Yahweh, Mungu wa Israeli, alivyo waagiza.
20 And of the sonnes of Leui that remained of the sonnes of Amram, was Shubael, of the sonnes of Shubael, Iedeiah,
Hawa walikuwa Walawi waliobakia: Wana wa Amiramu, Shebueli; wana wa Shebaeli, Yedeia.
21 Of Rehabiah. euen of the sonnes of Rehabiah, the first Isshiiah,
Wana wa Rehabia: wana wa Rehabia, Ishia kiongozi.
22 Of Izhari, Shelomoth, of the sonnes of Shelomoth, Iahath,
Wa Waizari, Shelomothi; mwana wa Shelomothi, Yahathi.
23 And his sonnes Ieriah the first, Amariah the second, Iahaziel the thirde, and Iekameam the fourth,
Wana wa Hebroni: Yeria kiongozi, Amaria wapili, Yahazieli watatu, na Yekameamu wanne.
24 The sonne of Vzziel was Michah, ye sonne of Michah was Shamir,
Wana wa uzao wa Uzieli ulimjumuisha Mika. Uzao wa Mika ulimjumuisha Shamiri.
25 The brother of Michah was Isshiiah, the sonne of Isshiiah, Zechariah,
Kaka wa Mika alikuwa Ishia. Wana wa Ishia akijumuishwa Zakaria.
26 The sonnes of Merari, were Mahli and Mushi, the sonne of Iaaziiah was Beno,
Wana na Merari: Mahli na Mushi. Mwana wa Yaazia, Beno.
27 The sonnes of Merari of Iahaziah were Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur and Ibri.
Wana wa Merari: Yaazia, Beno, Shohamu, Zakuri, na Ibrri.
28 Of Mahli came Eleazar, which had no sonnes.
Wana wa Mahili: eleazari, ambaye alikuwa hana wana.
29 Of Kish. the sonne of Kish was Ierahmeel,
Wana wa Kishi: Yerameli
30 And the sonnes of Mushi were Mahli, and Eder, and Ierimoth: these were sonnes of the Leuites after the houshold of their fathers.
wana wa Mushi: Mahli, Eda, na yerimothi. Walikuwa walawi, walio orodheshwa na familia zao.
31 And these also cast lots with their brethren the sonnes of Aaron before King Dauid, and Zadok and Ahimelech and the chiefe fathers of the Priests, and of the Leuites, euen the chiefe of the families against their yonger brethren.
Wanaume hawa ambao walikuwa vichwa katika nyumba za baba zao na kila wadogo zao, walipiga kura katika uwepo wa Mfalme Daudi, na Zadoki na Ahimeleki, pamoja na viongozi wa familia wa makuhani na Walawi. Walirusha kura kama uzao wa Aroni walivyofanya.
