1 Chronicles 24
1 These are also the diuisions of the sonnes of Aaron: The sonnes of Aaron were Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Men for Arons Børn vare Skifterne disse: Arons Sønner vare Nadab og Abihu, Eleasar og Ithamar.
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the Priestes office.
Men Nadab og Abihu døde for deres Faders Ansigt, og de havde ingen Børn; og Eleasar og Ithamar gjorde Præstetjeneste.
3 And Dauid distributed them, euen Zadok of the sonnes of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sonnes of Ithamar according to their offices in their ministration.
Og David tillige med Zadok af Eleasars Børn og Akimelek af Ithamars Børn inddelte dem til deres Embede i deres Tjeneste.
4 And there were found more of the sonnes of Eleazar by the number of men, then of the sonnes of Ithamar. and they deuided them, to wit, among the sonnes of Eleazar, sixteene heads, according to the houshould of their fathers, and among ye sonnes of Ithamar, according to the housholde of their fathers, eight.
Og der blev flere fundne af Eleasars Børn, som vare Øverster for Mændene, end af Ithamars Børn, da de delte dem; af Eleasars Børn var der seksten Øverster for deres Fædrenehuse, men af Ithamars Børn for deres Fædrenehuse var der otte.
5 Thus they distributed them by lot the one from the other, and so the rulers of the Sanctuarie and the rulers of the house of God were of the sonnes of Eleazar and of the sonnes of Ithamar.
Og de inddelte dem efter Lodkastning, disse med hine; thi der havde været Helligdommens Fyrster og Guds Fyrster saavel af Eleasars Børn som af Ithamars Børn.
6 And Shemaiah the sonne of Nethaneel the scribe of the Leuites, wrote them before ye King and the princes, and Zadok the Priest, and Ahimelech the sonne of Abiathar, and before ye chiefe fathers of the Priests and of the Leuites, one familie being reserued for Eleazar, and another reserued for Ithamar.
Og Semaja, Nethaneels Søn, Skriveren, en af Leviterne, opskrev dem i Paasyn af Kongen og Fyrsterne, og Zadok, Præsten, og Akimelek, Abjathars Søn, og Øversterne for Fædrenehusene blandt Præsterne og Leviterne; et Fædrenehus blev udtrukket for Eleasar, et andet blev skiftevis udtrukket for Ithamar.
7 And the first lot fell to Iehoiarib, and the second to Iedaiah,

8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
den tredje for Harim, den fjerde for Seorim,
9 The fifth to Malchiiah, the sixt to Miiamin,
den femte for Malkia, den sjette for Mijamin,
10 The seuenth to Hakkoz, the eight to Abiiah,
den syvende for Hakkoz, den ottende for Abia,
11 The ninth to Ieshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
den niende for Jesua, den tiende for Sekania,
12 The eleuenth to Eliashib, the twelft to Iakim,
den ellevte for Eljasib, den tolvte for Jakim,
13 The thirteenth to Huppa, the fouretenth to Ieshebeab,
den trettende for Hufa, den fjortende for Jesebab,
14 The fiftenth to Bilgah, the sixtenth to Immer,
den femtende for Bilga, den sekstende for Immer,
15 The seuententh to Hezir, the eightenth to Happizzer,
den syttende for Hesir, den attende for Hafizez,
16 The ninetenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Iehezekel,
den nittende for Petakia, den tyvende for Ezekiel,
17 The one and twentie to Iachin, the two and twentie to Gamul,
den en og tyvende for Jakin, den to og tyvende for Gamul,
18 The three and twentie to Deliah, the foure and twentie to Maaziah.
den tre og tyvende for Delaja, den fire og tyvende for Maaseja.
19 These were their orders according to their offices, when they entred into the house of the Lord according to their custome vnder the hande of Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
Disses Embedsgerning var det at gaa ind i Herrens Hus, som deres Vis var, efter deres Faders, Arons, Anvisning, saaledes som Herren, Israels Gud havde budt ham.
20 And of the sonnes of Leui that remained of the sonnes of Amram, was Shubael, of the sonnes of Shubael, Iedeiah,
Og hvad de øvrige af Levis Børn angaar, da var der af Amrams Sønner Subael, af Subaels Sønner Jedeja.
21 Of Rehabiah. euen of the sonnes of Rehabiah, the first Isshiiah,
Hvad Rehabia angaar, da var af Rehabias Sønner Jissija den første.
22 Of Izhari, Shelomoth, of the sonnes of Shelomoth, Iahath,
Af Jizehariterne var der Selomoth, af Selomoths Sønner var der Jahath;
23 And his sonnes Ieriah the first, Amariah the second, Iahaziel the thirde, and Iekameam the fourth,
og Jerijas Sønner: Amaria var den anden, Jehasiel den tredje, Jekameam den fjerde.
24 The sonne of Vzziel was Michah, ye sonne of Michah was Shamir,
Af Ussiels Sønner var der Mika, af Mikas Sønner var der Samir.
25 The brother of Michah was Isshiiah, the sonne of Isshiiah, Zechariah,
Jissija var Mikas Broder; af Jissijas Sønner var der Sakaria.
26 The sonnes of Merari, were Mahli and Mushi, the sonne of Iaaziiah was Beno,
Meraris Sønner vare: Maheli og Musi, Børn af hans Søn Jasia.
27 The sonnes of Merari of Iahaziah were Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur and Ibri.
Meraris Børn af hans Søn Jasia vare baade Skoam og Sakur og Ibri.
28 Of Mahli came Eleazar, which had no sonnes.
Af Maheli var der Eleasar, og han havde ingen Sønner.
29 Of Kish. the sonne of Kish was Ierahmeel,
Hvad Kis angaar, Kis's Sønner vare Jeramel.
30 And the sonnes of Mushi were Mahli, and Eder, and Ierimoth: these were sonnes of the Leuites after the houshold of their fathers.
Og Musis Sønner vare: Maheli og Eder og Jerimoth; disse ere Leviternes Børn efter deres Fædres Hus.
31 And these also cast lots with their brethren the sonnes of Aaron before King Dauid, and Zadok and Ahimelech and the chiefe fathers of the Priests, and of the Leuites, euen the chiefe of the families against their yonger brethren.
Ogsaa de kastede Lod ligesom deres Brødre, Arons Børn, i Paasyn af Kong David og Zadok og Akimelek, og Øversterne for Fædrenehusene iblandt Præsterne og Leviterne, Øversten for Fædrenehuset saavel som hans yngste Broder.
