1 Chronicles 21
1 And Satan stoode vp against Israel, and prouoked Dauid to nomber Israel.
| و شيطان بر ضد اسرائيل برخاسته، داود را اغوا نمود که اسرائيل را بشمارد. | ۱ |
2 Therefore Dauid said to Ioab, and to the rulers of the people, Go, and nomber Israel from Beer-sheba euen to Dan, and bring it to me, that I may knowe the nomber of them.
| و داود به يوآب و سروران قوم گفت: « برويد و عدد اسرائيل را از بئرشَبَع تا دان گرفته، نزد من بياوريد تا آن را بدانم.» | ۲ |
3 And Ioab answered, The Lord increase his people an hundreth times so many as they be, O my lord the King: are they not all my lords seruats? wherefore doeth my lord require this thing? why should he be a cause of trespasse to Israel?
| يوآب گفت: « خداوند بر قوم خود هر قدر که باشند صد چندان مزيد کند؛ و اي آقايم پادشاه آيا جميع ايشان بندگان آقايم نيستند؟ ليکن چرا آقايم خواهش اين عمل دارد و چرا بايد باعث گناه اسرائيل بشود؟» | ۳ |
4 Neuerthelesse the Kings word preuailed against Ioab. And Ioab departed and went thorowe all Israel, and returned to Ierusalem.
| اما کلام پادشاه بر يوآب غالب آمد و يوآب در ميان تمامي اسرائيل گردش کرده، باز به اورشليم مراجعت نمود. | ۴ |
5 And Ioab gaue the nomber and summe of the people vnto Dauid: and all Israel were eleuen hundreth thousande men that drewe sword: and Iudah was foure hundreth and seuentie thousande men that drewe sword.
| و يوآب عدد شمرده شدگان قوم را به داود داد و جمله اسرائيليان هزار هزار و يکصد هزار مرد شمشير زن و از يهودا چهارصد و هفتاد و چهار هزار مرد شمشير زن بودند. | ۵ |
6 But the Leuites and Beniamin counted he not among them: for the Kings worde was abominable to Ioab.
| ليکن لاويان و بنيامينيان را در ميان ايشان نشمرد زيرا که فرمان پادشاه نزد يوآب مکروه بود. | ۶ |
7 And God was displeased with this thing: therefore he smote Israel.
| و اين امر به نظر خدا ناپسند آمد، پس اسرائيل را مبتلا ساخت. | ۷ |
8 Then Dauid saide vnto God, I haue sinned greatly, because I haue done this thing: but now, I beseech thee, remooue the iniquitie of thy seruant: for I haue done very foolishly.
| و داود به خدا گفت: « در اين کاري که کردم، گناه عظيمي ورزيدم. و حال گناه بنده خود را عفو فرما زيرا که بسيار احمقانه رفتار نمودم.» | ۸ |
9 And the Lord spake vnto Gad Dauids Seer, saying,
| و خداوند جاد را که رايي داود بود خطاب کرده، گفت: | ۹ |
10 Goe and tell Dauid, saying, Thus saith the Lord, I offer thee three thinges: choose thee one of them, that I may doe it vnto thee.
| « برو و داود را اعلام کرده، بگو خداوند چنين مي فرمايد: من سه چيز پيش تو مي گذارم؛ پس يکي از آنها را براي خود اختيار کن تا برايت به عمل آورم.» | ۱۰ |
11 So Gad came to Dauid, and sayde vnto him, Thus saith the Lord, Take to thee
| پس جاد نزد داود آمده، وي را گفت: « خداوند چنين مي فرمايد براي خود اختيار کن: | ۱۱ |
12 Either three yeeres famine, or three moneths to be destroyed before thine aduersaries, and the sworde of thine enemies to take thee, or els the sworde of the Lord and pestilence in the lande three dayes, that the Angel of the Lord may destroy throughout all the coastes of Israel: nowe therefore aduise thee, what word I shall bring againe to him that sent me.
| يا سه سال قحط بشود، يا سه ماه پيش روي خصمانت تلف شوي و شمشير دشمنانت تو را درگيرد، يا سه روز شمشير خداوند و وبا در زمين تو واقع شود، و فرشته خداوند تمامي حدود اسرائيل را ويران سازد. پس الآن ببين که نزد فرستنده خود چه جواب برم.» | ۱۲ |
13 And Dauid said vnto Gad, I am in a wonderfull strait. let me nowe fall into the hande of the Lord: for his mercies are exceeding great, and let me not fall into the hande of man.
| داود به جاد گفت: « در شدت تنگي هستم. تمنا اينکه به دست خداوند بيفتم زيرا که رحمت هاي او بسيار عظيم است و به دست انسان نيفتم.» | ۱۳ |
14 So the Lord sent a pestilence in Israel, and there fell of Israel seuentie thousande men.
| پس خداوند وبا بر اسرائيل فرستاد و هفتاد هزار نفر از اسرائيل مردند. | ۱۴ |
15 And God sent the Angel into Ierusalem to destroy it. And as he was destroying, the Lord behelde, and repented of the euill and sayde to the Angel that destroyed, It is nowe ynough, let thine hande cease. Then the Angel of the Lord stoode by the thresshing floore of Ornan the Iebusite.
| و خدا فرشته اي به اورشليم فرستاد تا آن را هلاک سازد. و چون مي خواست آن را هلاک کند، خداوند ملاحظه نمود و از آن بلا پشيمان شد و به فرشته اي که (قوم را) هلاک مي ساخت گفت: «کافي است، حال دست خود را باز دار.» و فرشته خداوند نزد خرمنگاه اَرنانِ يبُوسي ايستاده بود. | ۱۵ |
16 And Dauid lift vp his eyes, and sawe the Angel of the Lord stande betweene the earth and the heauen with his sworde drawen in his hand, and stretched out towarde Ierusalem. Then Dauid and the Elders of Israel, which were clothed in sacke, fell vpon their faces.
| و داود چشمان خود را بالا انداخته، فرشته خداوند را ديد که در ميان زمين و آسمان ايستاده است و شمشيري برهنه در دستش بر اورشليم برافراشته؛ پس داود و مشايخ به پلاس ملبس شده، به روي خود درافتادند. | ۱۶ |
17 And Dauid said vnto God, Is it not I that commanded to nomber the people? It is euen I that haue sinned and haue committed euil, but these sheepe what haue they done? O Lord my God, I beseech thee, let thine hande be on me and on my fathers house, and not on thy people for their destruction.
| و داود به خدا گفت: «آيا من براي شمردن قوم امر نفرمودم و آيا من آن نيستم که گناه ورزيده، مرتکب شرارت زشت شدم؟ اما اين گوسفندان چه کرده اند؟ پس اي يهُوَه خدايم، مستدعي اينکه دست تو بر من و خاندان پدرم باشد و به قوم خود بلا مرساني.» | ۱۷ |
18 Then the Angel of the Lord commanded Gad to say to Dauid, that Dauid should goe vp, and set vp an altar vnto the Lord in the thresshing floore of Ornan the Iebusite.
| و فرشته خداوند جاد را امر فرمود که به داود بگويد که داود برود و مذبحي به جهت خداوند در خرمنگاه اُرنان يبُوسي برپا کند. | ۱۸ |
19 So Dauid went vp according to the saying of Gad, which he had spoken in the Name of the Lord.
| پس داود بر حسب کلامي که جاد به اسم خداوند گفت برفت. | ۱۹ |
20 And Ornan turned about, and sawe the Angel, and his foure sonnes, that were with him, hid them selues, and Ornan thresshed wheat.
| و اُرنان روگردانيده، فرشته را ديد و چهار پسرش که همراهش بودند، خويشتن را پنهان کردند؛ و اُرنان گندم مي کوبيد. | ۲۰ |
21 And as Dauid came to Ornan, Ornan looked and sawe Dauid, and went out of the thresshing floore, and bowed himselfe to Dauid with his face to the grounde.
| و چون داود نزد اُرنان آمد، اُرنان نگريسته، داود را ديد و از خرونگاه بيرون آمده، به حضور داود رو به زمين افتاد. | ۲۱ |
22 And Dauid saide to Ornan, Giue me the place of thy thresshing floore, that I may builde an altar therein vnto the Lord: giue it me for sufficient money, that the plague may be stayed from the people.
| و داود به اُرنان گفت: « جاي خرمنگاه را به من بده تا مذبحي به جهت خداوند برپا نمايم؛ آن را به قيمت تمام به من بده تا وبا از قوم رفع شود.» | ۲۲ |
23 Then Ornan saide vnto Dauid, Take it to thee, and let my lord the King do that which seemeth him good: loe, I giue thee bullockes for burnt offrings, and thresshing instruments for wood, and wheat for meate offring, I giue it all.
| اُرنان به داود عرض کرد: « آن را براي خود بگير و آقايم پادشاه آنچه که در نظرش پسند آيد به عمل آورد؛ ببين گاوان را به جهت قرباني سوختني و چومها را براي هيزم و گندم را به جهت هديه آردي دادم و همه را به تو بخشيدم.» | ۲۳ |
24 And King Dauid saide to Ornan, Not so: but I will bye it for sufficient money: for I wil not take that which is thine for the Lord, nor offer burnt offrings without cost.
| اما داود پادشاه به اُرنان گفت: «ني، بلکه آن را البته به قيمت تمام از تو خواهم خريد، زيرا که از اموال تو براي خداوند نخواهم گرفت و قرباني سوختني مجاناً نخواهم گذرانيد.» | ۲۴ |
25 So Dauid gaue to Ornan for that place sixe hundreth shekels of golde by weight.
| پس داود براي آن موضع ششصد مثقال طلا به وزن، به اُرنان داد. | ۲۵ |
26 And Dauid built there an altar vnto the Lord, and offred burnt offrings, and peace offrings, and called vpon the Lord, and he answered him by fire from heauen vpon the altar of burnt offring.
| و داود در آنجا مذبحي به جهت خداوند بنا نموده، قرباني هاي سوختني و ذبايح سلامتي گذرانيد و نزد خداوند استدعا نمود؛ و او آتشي از آسمان بر مذبح قرباني سوختني (نازل کرده،) او را مستجاب فرمود. | ۲۶ |
27 And when the Lord had spoken to the Angel, he put vp his sworde againe into his sheath.
| و خداوند فرشته را حکم داد تا شمشير خود را در غلافش برگردانيد. | ۲۷ |
28 At that time when Dauid sawe that the Lord had heard him in the thresshing floore of Ornan the Iebusite, then he sacrificed there.
| در آن زمان چون داود ديد که خداوند او را در خرمنگاه اُرنان يبُوسي مستجاب فرموده است، در آنجا قرباني ها گزرانيد. | ۲۸ |
29 (But the Tabernacle of the Lord which Moses had made in the wildernesse, and the altar of burnt offring were at that season in the hie place at Gibeon.
| اما مسکن خداوند که موسي در بيابان ساخته بود و مذبح قرباني سوختني، در آن ايام در مکان بلند جِبعون بود. | ۲۹ |
30 And Dauid could not go before it to aske counsel at God: for he was afraide of the sworde of the Angel of the Lord.)
| ليکن داود نتوانست نزد آن برود تا از خدا مسألت نمايد، چونکه از شمشير فرشته خداوند مي ترسيد. | ۳۰ |
