1 Chronicles 2
1 These are the sonnes of Israel, Reuben, Simeon, Leui and Iudah, Isshachar, and Zebulun,
Con trai của Ít-ra-ên là: Ru-bên, Si-mê-ôn, Lê-vi, Giu-đa, Y-sa-ca, Sa-bu-luân,
2 Dan, Ioseph, and Beniamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 The sonnes of Iudah, Er, and Onan, and Shelah. these three were borne to him of ye daughter of Shua the Canaanite: but Er the eldest sonne of Iudah was euil in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.
Giu-đa cưới vợ là Ba-sua, người Ca-na-an, sinh ba con trai là Ê-rơ, Ô-nan, và Sê-la. Nhưng Ê-rơ gian ác đến nỗi bị Chúa Hằng Hữu giết.
4 And Thamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez, and Zerah: so al the sonnes of Iudah were fiue.
Ta-ma, con dâu của Giu-đa, sinh cho ông hai con sinh đôi là Phê-rết và Xê-rách. Vậy Giu-đa được năm con trai.
5 The sonnes of Pharez, Hezron and Hamul.
Con trai của Phê-rết là Hết-rôn và Ha-mun.
6 The sonnes also of Zerah were Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara, which were fiue in all.
Con trai của Xê-rách là Xim-ri, Ê-than, Hê-man, Canh-côn, và Đa-ra, tất cả là năm người.
7 And the sonne of Carmi, Achar that troubled Israel, transgressing in the thing excommunicate.
Con trai của Cát-mi là A-can (người ăn cắp thánh vật và gây đại nạn cho người Ít-ra-ên).
8 The sonne also of Ethan, Azariah.
Con trai của Ê-than là A-xa-ria.
9 And the sonnes of Hezron that were borne vnto him, Ierahmeel, and Ram and Chelubai.
Con trai của Hết-rôn là Giê-rác-mê-ên, Ram, và Ca-lép.
10 And Ram begate Aminadab, and Aminadab begate Nahshon prince of the children of Iudah,
Ram sinh A-mi-na-đáp. A-mi-na-đáp sinh Na-ha-sôn, là một lãnh tụ của người Giu-đa.
11 And Nahshon begate Salma, and Salma begate Boaz,
Na-ha-sôn sinh Sanh-ma. Sanh-ma sinh Bô-ô.
12 And Boaz begate Obed, and Obed begate Ishai,
Bô-ô sinh Ô-bết. Ô-bết sinh Gie-sê.
13 And Ishai begate his eldest sonne Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
Giê-se sinh con đầu lòng là Ê-li-áp, con thứ nhì là A-bi-na-đáp, con thứ ba là Si-mê-a,
14 Nathaneel the fourth, Raddai the fift,
con thứ tư là Na-tha-na-ên, con thứ năm là Ra-đai,
15 Ozem the sixt, and Dauid the seuenth.
con thứ sáu là Ô-xem, con thứ bảy là Đa-vít.
16 Whose sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sonnes of Zeruiah, Abishai, and Ioab, and Asahel.
Chị em của họ là Xê-ru-gia và A-bi-ga-in. Xê-ru-gia sinh A-bi-sai, Giô-áp, và A-sa-ên.
17 And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Iether an Ishmeelite.
A-bi-ga-in lấy chồng là Giê-the, người Ích-ma-ên, sinh A-ma-sa.
18 And Caleb the sonne of Hezron begate Ierioth of Azubah his wife, and her sonnes are these, Iesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
Ca-lép, con Hết-rôn, cưới hai vợ tên A-xu-ba và Giê-ri-ốt. A-xu-ba sinh Giê-sê, Sô-báp, và Ạt-đôn.
19 And when Azubah was dead, Caleb tooke vnto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
Sau khi A-xu-ba qua đời, Ca-lép cưới Ê-phơ-rát, sinh một con trai tên Hu-rơ.
20 And Hur begate Vri, and Vri begate Bezaleel.
Hu-rơ sinh U-ri. U-ri sinh Bê-sa-lê.
21 And afterward came Hezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, and tooke her when hee was threescore yere olde, and shee bare him Segub.
Hết-rôn được sáu mươi tuổi, cưới con gái của Ma-ki, cha của Ga-la-át. Ông bà có một con trai đặt tên là Sê-gúp.
22 And Segub begate Iair, which had three and twentie cities in the land of Gilead.
Sê-gúp sinh Giai-rơ, là người cai trị hai mươi ba thành xứ Ga-la-át.
23 And Gesthur with Aram tooke the townes of Iair from them, and Kenath and the townes thereof, euen threescore cities. All these were the sonnes of Machir the father of Gilead.

24 And after that Hezron was dead at Caleb Ephratah, then Abiah Hezrons wife bare him also Ashur the father of Tekoa.

25 And ye sonnes of Ierahmeel the eldest sone of Hezron were Ram the eldest, then Bunah, and Oren and Ozen and Ahiiah.
Con trai của Giê-rác-mê-ên, trưởng nam của Hết-rôn, là Ram (trưởng nam), Bu-na, Ô-ren, Ô-xem, và A-hi-gia.
26 Also Ierahmeel had another wife named Atarah, which was the mother of Onam.
Giê-rác-mê-ên cưới thêm A-ta-ra và sinh Ô-nam.
27 And the sonnes of Ram the eldest sonne of Ierahmeel were Maaz, and Iamin and Ekar.
Con trai của Ram, trưởng nam của Giê-rác-mê-ên là Ma-ách, Gia-min, và Ê-ke.
28 And the sonnes of Onam were Shammai and Iada. And the sonnes of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.
Các con trai của Ô-nam là Sha-mai và Gia-đa. Con trai của Sam-mai là Na-đáp và A-bi-su
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was called Abiahil, and shee bare him Ahban and Molid.
A-bi-su cưới A-bi-hai và sinh Ạc-ban và Mô-lít.
30 The sonnes also of Nadab were Seled and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
Na-đáp sinh Sê-lê và Áp-ba-im. Sê-le qua đời, không có con,
31 And the sonne of Appaim was Ishi, and the sonne of Ishi, Sheshan, and the sonne of Sheshan, Ahlai.
nhưng Áp-ba-im có một con trai tên Di-si. Di-si sinh Sê-san. Sê-san sinh Ạc-lai.
32 And the sonnes of Iada the brother of Shammai were Iether and Ionathan: but Iether dyed without children.
Các con trai của Gia-đa, em Sha-mai là Giê-the và Giô-na-than. Giê-the qua đời, không con,
33 And the sonnes of Ionathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sonnes of Ierahmeel.
nhưng Giô-na-than có hai con trai là Phê-lết và Xa-xa. Đó là con cháu của Giê-rác-mê-ên.
34 And Sheshan had no sonnes, but daughters. And Sheshan had a seruant that was an Egyptian named Iarha.

35 And Sheshan gaue his daughter to Iarha his seruant to wife, and she bare him Attai.

36 And Attai begate Nathan, and Nathan begate Zabad,
Ạt-tai sinh Na-than. Na-than sinh Xa-bát.
37 And Zabad begate Ephlal, and Ephlal begate Obed,

38 And Obed begate Iehu, and Iehu begate Azariah,
Ô-bết sinh Giê-hu. Giê-hu sinh A-xa-ria.
39 And Azariah begate Helez, and Helez begate Eleasah,
A-xa-ria sinh Hê-lết. Hê-lết sinh Ê-la-xa.
40 And Eleasah begate Sisamai, and Sisamai begate Shallum,
Ê-la-xa sinh Sít-mai. Sít-mai sinh Sa-lum.
41 And Shallum begate Iekamiah, and Iekamiah begate Elishama.
Sa-lum sinh Giê-ca-mia. Giê-ca-mia sinh Ê-li-sa-ma.
42 Also the sonnes of Caleb the brother of Ierahmeel, were Mesha his eldest sonne, which was the father of Ziph: and the sonnes of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
Dòng dõi của Ca-lép, em của Giê-rác-mê-ên, là Mê-sa (trưởng nam), tổ phụ của Xíp. Dòng dõi của Ca-lép cũng gồm Ma-rê-sa, tổ phụ của Hếp-rôn.
43 And the sonnes of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.
Hếp-rôn sinh Cô-rê, Tháp-bu-a, Rê-kem, và Sê-ma.
44 And Shema begate Raham the father of Iorkoam: and Rekem begate Shammai.
Sê-ma sinh Ra-cham. Ra-cham sinh Giô-kê-am. Rê-kem sinh Sa-mai.
45 The sonne also of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
Sa-mai sinh Ma-ôn. Ma-ôn sinh Bết-sua.
46 And Ephah a concubine of Caleb bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez: Haran also begate Gazez.
Ca-lép cưới thêm Ê-pha, sinh Ha-ran, Một-sa, và Ga-xe. Ha-ran sinh Ga-xe.
47 The sonnes of Iahdai were Regem, and Iotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
Gia-đai sinh Rê-ghem, Giô-tham, Ghê-san, Phê-lết, Ê-pha, và Sa-áp.
48 Calebs concubine Maachah bare Sheber and Tirhanah.
Ca-lép lại cưới Ma-a-ca và sinh Sê-be và Ti-ra-na,
49 She bare also Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, and Sheua the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. And Achsah was Calebs daughter.
Nàng còn sinh thêm Sa-áp (tổ phụ của Mát-ma-na) và Sê-va (tổ phụ của Mát-bê-na và Ghi-bê-a). Ca-lép cũng có một con gái tên Ạc-sa.
50 These were the sonnes of Caleb the sone of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephrathah, Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim.
Đây là dòng dõi của Ca-lép. Hu-rơ, trưởng nam của Ê-phơ-rát, vợ Ca-lép, sinh các con trai là Sô-banh, (người sáng lập Ki-ri-át Giê-a-rim),
51 Salma the father of Beth-lehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
Sanh-ma, (người sáng lập Bết-lê-hem), và Ha-rếp (người sáng lập Bết Ga-đe).
52 And Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim had sonnes, and he was the ouerseer of halfe Hammenoth.
Dòng dõi của Sô-banh (người sáng lập Ki-ri-át Giê-a-rim) là Ha-rô-ê, tổ phụ một nửa dân tộc Mê-nu-hốt,
53 And the families of Kiriath-iearim were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and ye Mishraites of them came the Zarreathites, and the Eshtaulites.
và gia đình Ki-ri-át Giê-a-rim gồm họ Ga-rép, họ Phu-tít, họ Su-ma-tít, và họ Mích-ra-ít; cũng từ đó mà có họ Xô-ra-tít và họ Ếch-tao-lít.
54 The sonnes of Salma of Beth-lehem, and the Netophathite, the crownes of the house of Ioab, and halfe the Manahthites and the Zorites.
Dòng dõi của Sanh-ma là dân tộc Bết-lê-hem, họ Nê-tô-pha-tít, họ Ạt-rốt Bết Giô-áp, nửa họ Ma-na-ha-tít, và họ Xô-rít,
55 And the families of the Scribes dwelling at Iabez, the Tirathites, the Shimmeathites, the Shuchathites, which are the Kenites, that came of Hammath the father of the house of Rechab.
