1 Chronicles 2
1 These are the sonnes of Israel, Reuben, Simeon, Leui and Iudah, Isshachar, and Zebulun,
Voici les fils d’Israël. Ruben, Siméon, Lévi, Juda, Issacar, Zabulon,
2 Dan, Ioseph, and Beniamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Nephthali, Gad et Aser.
3 The sonnes of Iudah, Er, and Onan, and Shelah. these three were borne to him of ye daughter of Shua the Canaanite: but Er the eldest sonne of Iudah was euil in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.
Fils de Juda: Er, Onan, Schéla; ces trois lui naquirent de la fille de Schua, la Cananéenne. Er, premier-né de Juda, était méchant aux yeux de l’Éternel, qui le fit mourir.
4 And Thamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez, and Zerah: so al the sonnes of Iudah were fiue.
Tamar, belle-fille de Juda, lui enfanta Pérets et Zérach. Total des fils de Juda: cinq.
5 The sonnes of Pharez, Hezron and Hamul.
Fils de Pérets: Hetsron et Hamul.
6 The sonnes also of Zerah were Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara, which were fiue in all.
Fils de Zérach: Zimri, Éthan, Héman, Calcol et Dara. En tout: cinq.
7 And the sonne of Carmi, Achar that troubled Israel, transgressing in the thing excommunicate.
Fils de Carmi: Acar, qui troubla Israël lorsqu’il commit une infidélité au sujet des choses dévouées par interdit.
8 The sonne also of Ethan, Azariah.
Fils d’Éthan: Azaria.
9 And the sonnes of Hezron that were borne vnto him, Ierahmeel, and Ram and Chelubai.
Fils qui naquirent à Hetsron: Jerachmeel, Ram et Kelubaï.
10 And Ram begate Aminadab, and Aminadab begate Nahshon prince of the children of Iudah,
Ram engendra Amminadab. Amminadab engendra Nachschon, prince des fils de Juda.
11 And Nahshon begate Salma, and Salma begate Boaz,
Nachschon engendra Salma. Salma engendra Boaz.
12 And Boaz begate Obed, and Obed begate Ishai,
Boaz engendra Obed. Obed engendra Isaï.
13 And Ishai begate his eldest sonne Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
Isaï engendra Éliab, son premier-né, Abinadab le second, Schimea le troisième,
14 Nathaneel the fourth, Raddai the fift,
Nethaneel le quatrième, Raddaï le cinquième,
15 Ozem the sixt, and Dauid the seuenth.
Otsem le sixième, David le septième.
16 Whose sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sonnes of Zeruiah, Abishai, and Ioab, and Asahel.
Leurs sœurs étaient: Tseruja et Abigaïl. Fils de Tseruja: Abischaï, Joab et Asaël, trois.
17 And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Iether an Ishmeelite.
Abigaïl enfanta Amasa; le père d’Amasa fut Jéther, l’Ismaélite.
18 And Caleb the sonne of Hezron begate Ierioth of Azubah his wife, and her sonnes are these, Iesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
Caleb, fils de Hetsron, eut des enfants d’Azuba, sa femme, et de Jerioth. Voici les fils qu’il eut d’Azuba: Jéscher, Schobab et Ardon.
19 And when Azubah was dead, Caleb tooke vnto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
Azuba mourut; et Caleb prit Éphrath, qui lui enfanta Hur.
20 And Hur begate Vri, and Vri begate Bezaleel.
Hur engendra Uri, et Uri engendra Betsaleel.
21 And afterward came Hezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, and tooke her when hee was threescore yere olde, and shee bare him Segub.
Ensuite, Hetsron alla vers la fille de Makir, père de Galaad, et il avait soixante ans lorsqu’il la prit; elle lui enfanta Segub.
22 And Segub begate Iair, which had three and twentie cities in the land of Gilead.
Segub engendra Jaïr, qui eut vingt-trois villes dans le pays de Galaad.
23 And Gesthur with Aram tooke the townes of Iair from them, and Kenath and the townes thereof, euen threescore cities. All these were the sonnes of Machir the father of Gilead.
Les Gueschuriens et les Syriens leur prirent les bourgs de Jaïr avec Kenath et les villes de son ressort, soixante villes. Tous ceux-là étaient fils de Makir, père de Galaad.
24 And after that Hezron was dead at Caleb Ephratah, then Abiah Hezrons wife bare him also Ashur the father of Tekoa.
Après la mort de Hetsron à Caleb-Éphratha, Abija, femme de Hetsron, lui enfanta Aschchur, père de Tekoa.
25 And ye sonnes of Ierahmeel the eldest sone of Hezron were Ram the eldest, then Bunah, and Oren and Ozen and Ahiiah.
Les fils de Jerachmeel, premier-né de Hetsron, furent: Ram, le premier-né, Buna, Oren et Otsem, nés d’Achija.
26 Also Ierahmeel had another wife named Atarah, which was the mother of Onam.
Jerachmeel eut une autre femme, nommée Athara, qui fut mère d’Onam.
27 And the sonnes of Ram the eldest sonne of Ierahmeel were Maaz, and Iamin and Ekar.
Les fils de Ram, premier-né de Jerachmeel, furent: Maats, Jamin et Éker.
28 And the sonnes of Onam were Shammai and Iada. And the sonnes of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.
Les fils d’Onam furent: Schammaï et Jada. Fils de Schammaï: Nadab et Abischur.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was called Abiahil, and shee bare him Ahban and Molid.
Le nom de la femme d’Abischur était Abichaïl, et elle lui enfanta Achban et Molid.
30 The sonnes also of Nadab were Seled and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
Fils de Nadab: Séled et Appaïm. Séled mourut sans fils.
31 And the sonne of Appaim was Ishi, and the sonne of Ishi, Sheshan, and the sonne of Sheshan, Ahlai.
Fils d’Appaïm: Jischeï. Fils de Jischeï: Schéschan. Fils de Schéschan: Achlaï.
32 And the sonnes of Iada the brother of Shammai were Iether and Ionathan: but Iether dyed without children.
Fils de Jada, frère de Schammaï: Jéther et Jonathan. Jéther mourut sans fils.
33 And the sonnes of Ionathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sonnes of Ierahmeel.
Fils de Jonathan: Péleth et Zara. Ce sont là les fils de Jerachmeel.
34 And Sheshan had no sonnes, but daughters. And Sheshan had a seruant that was an Egyptian named Iarha.
Schéschan n’eut point de fils, mais il eut des filles. Schéschan avait un esclave égyptien nommé Jarcha.
35 And Sheshan gaue his daughter to Iarha his seruant to wife, and she bare him Attai.
Et Schéschan donna sa fille pour femme à Jarcha, son esclave, à qui elle enfanta Attaï.
36 And Attai begate Nathan, and Nathan begate Zabad,
Attaï engendra Nathan; Nathan engendra Zabad;
37 And Zabad begate Ephlal, and Ephlal begate Obed,
Zabad engendra Éphlal; Éphlal engendra Obed;
38 And Obed begate Iehu, and Iehu begate Azariah,
Obed engendra Jéhu; Jéhu engendra Azaria;
39 And Azariah begate Helez, and Helez begate Eleasah,
Azaria engendra Halets; Halets engendra Élasa;
40 And Eleasah begate Sisamai, and Sisamai begate Shallum,
Élasa engendra Sismaï; Sismaï engendra Schallum;
41 And Shallum begate Iekamiah, and Iekamiah begate Elishama.
Schallum engendra Jekamja; Jekamja engendra Élischama.
42 Also the sonnes of Caleb the brother of Ierahmeel, were Mesha his eldest sonne, which was the father of Ziph: and the sonnes of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
Fils de Caleb, frère de Jerachmeel: Méscha, son premier-né, qui fut père de Ziph, et les fils de Maréscha, père d’Hébron.
43 And the sonnes of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.
Fils d’Hébron: Koré, Thappuach, Rékem et Schéma.
44 And Shema begate Raham the father of Iorkoam: and Rekem begate Shammai.
Schéma engendra Racham, père de Jorkeam. Rékem engendra Schammaï.
45 The sonne also of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
Fils de Schammaï: Maon; et Maon, père de Beth-Tsur.
46 And Ephah a concubine of Caleb bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez: Haran also begate Gazez.
Épha, concubine de Caleb, enfanta Haran, Motsa et Gazez. Haran engendra Gazez.
47 The sonnes of Iahdai were Regem, and Iotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
Fils de Jahdaï: Réguem, Jotham, Guéschan, Péleth, Épha et Schaaph.
48 Calebs concubine Maachah bare Sheber and Tirhanah.
Maaca, concubine de Caleb, enfanta Schéber et Tirchana.
49 She bare also Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, and Sheua the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. And Achsah was Calebs daughter.
Elle enfanta encore Schaaph, père de Madmanna, et Scheva, père de Macbéna et père de Guibea. La fille de Caleb était Acsa.
50 These were the sonnes of Caleb the sone of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephrathah, Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim.
Ceux-ci furent fils de Caleb: Schobal, fils de Hur, premier-né d’Éphrata, et père de Kirjath-Jearim;
51 Salma the father of Beth-lehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
Salma, père de Bethléhem; Hareph, père de Beth-Gader.
52 And Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim had sonnes, and he was the ouerseer of halfe Hammenoth.
Les fils de Schobal, père de Kirjath-Jearim, furent: Haroé, Hatsi-Hammenuhoth.
53 And the families of Kiriath-iearim were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and ye Mishraites of them came the Zarreathites, and the Eshtaulites.
Les familles de Kirjath-Jearim furent: les Jéthriens, les Puthiens, les Schumathiens et les Mischraïens; de ces familles sont sortis les Tsoreathiens et les Eschthaoliens.
54 The sonnes of Salma of Beth-lehem, and the Netophathite, the crownes of the house of Ioab, and halfe the Manahthites and the Zorites.
Fils de Salma: Bethléhem et les Nethophatiens, Athroth-Beth-Joab, Hatsi-Hammanachthi, les Tsoreïens;
55 And the families of the Scribes dwelling at Iabez, the Tirathites, the Shimmeathites, the Shuchathites, which are the Kenites, that came of Hammath the father of the house of Rechab.
et les familles des scribes demeurant à Jaebets, les Thireathiens, les Schimeathiens et les Sucathiens. Ce sont les Kéniens, issus de Hamath, père de la maison de Récab.
