1 Chronicles 2
1 These are the sonnes of Israel, Reuben, Simeon, Leui and Iudah, Isshachar, and Zebulun,
Voici les noms des fils d'Israël: Ruben, Siméon, Lévi, Juda, Issachar, Zabulon,
2 Dan, Ioseph, and Beniamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Nephthali, Gad, Aser.
3 The sonnes of Iudah, Er, and Onan, and Shelah. these three were borne to him of ye daughter of Shua the Canaanite: but Er the eldest sonne of Iudah was euil in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.
Fils de Juda: Her, Onan, Sela; tous trois naquirent de la fille de Savas (Sué), la Chananéenne; et Her, le premier-né de Juda, fit le mal devant le Seigneur, qui le tua.
4 And Thamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez, and Zerah: so al the sonnes of Iudah were fiue.
Et Thamar, bru de Juda, enfanta Pharès et Zara; en tout: cinq fils de Juda.
5 The sonnes of Pharez, Hezron and Hamul.
Fils de Pharès: Esron et Jemuhel.
6 The sonnes also of Zerah were Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara, which were fiue in all.
Fils de Zara: Zambri, Etham, Aimuan, Calchal et Darad; en tout: cinq.
7 And the sonne of Carmi, Achar that troubled Israel, transgressing in the thing excommunicate.
Fils de Charmi: Achar, le perturbateur d'Israël, qui désobéit au sujet de l'anathème.
8 The sonne also of Ethan, Azariah.
Fils d'Etham: Azarias.
9 And the sonnes of Hezron that were borne vnto him, Ierahmeel, and Ram and Chelubai.
Fils d'Esron, qui lui furent enfantés: Jeraméel, Aram et Caleb.
10 And Ram begate Aminadab, and Aminadab begate Nahshon prince of the children of Iudah,
Aram engendra Aminadab; Aminadab engendra Nahasson, chef de la maison de Juda.
11 And Nahshon begate Salma, and Salma begate Boaz,
Nahasson engendra Salmon; Salmon engendra Booz;
12 And Boaz begate Obed, and Obed begate Ishai,
Booz engendra Obed; Obed engendra Jessé;
13 And Ishai begate his eldest sonne Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
Jessé engendra son premier-né Eliab, le second Aminadab, le troisième Samaa,
14 Nathaneel the fourth, Raddai the fift,
Nathanael le quatrième, Zabdé le cinquième,
15 Ozem the sixt, and Dauid the seuenth.
Azam le sixième, et David le septième.
16 Whose sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sonnes of Zeruiah, Abishai, and Ioab, and Asahel.
Et leurs sœurs furent: Sarvia et Abigaïl. Les fils de Sarvia furent: Abessa, Joab et Asaël; trois.
17 And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Iether an Ishmeelite.
Abagaïl enfanta Amessab, et le père d'Amessab fut Jolhor l'Ismaélite.
18 And Caleb the sonne of Hezron begate Ierioth of Azubah his wife, and her sonnes are these, Iesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
Caleb, fils d'Esron, prit pour femmes Gazuba et Jerioth; voici ses fils: Jasar, Subab et Ardon.
19 And when Azubah was dead, Caleb tooke vnto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.
Et Gazuba mourut, et Caleb prit pour femme Ephratha, et elle lui enfanta Hur.
20 And Hur begate Vri, and Vri begate Bezaleel.
Hur engendra Urias; Urias engendra Beseléel.
21 And afterward came Hezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, and tooke her when hee was threescore yere olde, and shee bare him Segub.
Après cela, Esron eut commerce avec la fille de Machir, père de Galaad, et il la prit pour femme; il avait alors soixante-cinq ans, et elle lui enfanta Seruch.
22 And Segub begate Iair, which had three and twentie cities in the land of Gilead.
Seruch engendra Jaïr; il possédait vingt-trois villes en Galaad.
23 And Gesthur with Aram tooke the townes of Iair from them, and Kenath and the townes thereof, euen threescore cities. All these were the sonnes of Machir the father of Gilead.
Il prit de plus Gessur et Aram, villes de Jaïr, parmi les siennes, et la terre de Canath avec ses villes: soixante villes; toutes appartenaient aux fils de Machir, père de Galaad.
24 And after that Hezron was dead at Caleb Ephratah, then Abiah Hezrons wife bare him also Ashur the father of Tekoa.
Après la mort d'Esron, Caleb épousa Ephratha; or, Abia, femme d'Esron, lui avait enfanté Ascho, père de Thécoé.
25 And ye sonnes of Ierahmeel the eldest sone of Hezron were Ram the eldest, then Bunah, and Oren and Ozen and Ahiiah.
Les fils de Jeraméel, premier-né d'Esron, furent: Ram, premier-né; puis, Banaa, Aram et Asan, son frère.
26 Also Ierahmeel had another wife named Atarah, which was the mother of Onam.
Et Jeraméel avait une autre femme qui se nommait Atara; celle-ci fut la mère d'Ozom.
27 And the sonnes of Ram the eldest sonne of Ierahmeel were Maaz, and Iamin and Ekar.
Les fils de Ram, premier-né de Jeraméel, furent: Mass, Jamin et Acor.
28 And the sonnes of Onam were Shammai and Iada. And the sonnes of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.
Les fils d'Ozom furent: Samaï et Jadaé, et les fils de Samaï: Nadab et Abisur.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was called Abiahil, and shee bare him Ahban and Molid.
La femme d'Abisur se nommait Abihaïl, et elle lui enfanta Achobor et Moêl.
30 The sonnes also of Nadab were Seled and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
Fils de Nadab: Salad et Aphaïn; Salad mourut sans enfants.
31 And the sonne of Appaim was Ishi, and the sonne of Ishi, Sheshan, and the sonne of Sheshan, Ahlai.
Fils d'Aphaïn: Iséuniel; fils d'Isémiel: Sosan; fils de Sosan: Dadaï.
32 And the sonnes of Iada the brother of Shammai were Iether and Ionathan: but Iether dyed without children.
Fils de Dadaï: Achisamas, Jéther, Jonatham; Jéther mourut sans enfants.
33 And the sonnes of Ionathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sonnes of Ierahmeel.
Fils de Jonathan: Phaleth et Ozam; voilà les fils de Jonathan.
34 And Sheshan had no sonnes, but daughters. And Sheshan had a seruant that was an Egyptian named Iarha.
Sosan n'eut pas de fils, mais des filles; or, il avait un serviteur égyptien qui se nommait Johel.
35 And Sheshan gaue his daughter to Iarha his seruant to wife, and she bare him Attai.
Et Sosan donna sa fille, pour femme, à son serviteur Johel; elle lui enfanta Ethi.
36 And Attai begate Nathan, and Nathan begate Zabad,
Et Ethi engendra Nathan, et Nathan engendra Zabed.
37 And Zabad begate Ephlal, and Ephlal begate Obed,
Zabed engendra Aphamel, et Aphamel engendra Obed.
38 And Obed begate Iehu, and Iehu begate Azariah,
Obed engendra Jéhu, et Jéhu engendra Azarias.
39 And Azariah begate Helez, and Helez begate Eleasah,
Azarias engendra Hellès, et Hellès engendra Eléaza.
40 And Eleasah begate Sisamai, and Sisamai begate Shallum,
Eléaza engendra Sosomaï, et Sosomaï engendra Salum.
41 And Shallum begate Iekamiah, and Iekamiah begate Elishama.
Salum engendra Jéhémie; Jéhémie engendra Elisama, et Elisama engendra Ismaël.
42 Also the sonnes of Caleb the brother of Ierahmeel, were Mesha his eldest sonne, which was the father of Ziph: and the sonnes of Mareshah the father of Hebron.
Fils de Caleb, frère de Jeraméel Marisa, premier-né; c'est le père de Siph; Marisa eut encore des fils, il fut le père d'Hébron.
43 And the sonnes of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.
Fils d'Hébron: Coré, Thaphus, Rhicom et Samaa.
44 And Shema begate Raham the father of Iorkoam: and Rekem begate Shammai.
Samaa engendra Rahem, père de Jéclan, et Jéclan engendra Samaï.
45 The sonne also of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.
Mahon fut son fils, et Mahon fut le père de Bethsur.
46 And Ephah a concubine of Caleb bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez: Haran also begate Gazez.
Gaïpha, concubine de Caleb, enfanta Aram, et Mosa et Gézué.
47 The sonnes of Iahdai were Regem, and Iotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
Fils d'Adaï: Rahem, Joatham, Sagar, Phalec, Gaïpha et Sagaé.
48 Calebs concubine Maachah bare Sheber and Tirhanah.
Mocha, concubine de Caleb, enfanta Saber et Tharam.
49 She bare also Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, and Sheua the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. And Achsah was Calebs daughter.
Sagaé engendra le père de Madmena, et Sahu, père de Mahabena, et le père de Gébal; la fille de Caleb s'appelait Ascha.
50 These were the sonnes of Caleb the sone of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephrathah, Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim.
Voilà les fils de Caleb. Voici les fils d'Hur, premier-né d'Ephratha: Sobal, père de Cariathiarim,
51 Salma the father of Beth-lehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.
Salomon, père de Bétha, Lammon, père de Béthalaem, et Arim, père de Bethgedor.
52 And Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim had sonnes, and he was the ouerseer of halfe Hammenoth.
Fils de Sobal, père de Cariathiarim: Araa, Aïsi, Ammanith
53 And the families of Kiriath-iearim were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and ye Mishraites of them came the Zarreathites, and the Eshtaulites.
Et Umasphaé; villes de Jdir: Ethalim, Miphitim, Hésamathim et Hémasaraïm, d'où sont sortis les Sarathéens et les fils d'Esthaam.
54 The sonnes of Salma of Beth-lehem, and the Netophathite, the crownes of the house of Ioab, and halfe the Manahthites and the Zorites.
Fils de Salomon: Béthalaem le Netophatite, Ataroth de la maison de Joab, la moitié de Manathi, et Esari.
55 And the families of the Scribes dwelling at Iabez, the Tirathites, the Shimmeathites, the Shuchathites, which are the Kenites, that came of Hammath the father of the house of Rechab.
Familles de lettrés, demeurant en Jabis: Thargathiim, et Samathiim et Sohathim. Ce sont les Cinéens, issus d'Emath, père de la maison de Rhéchab.
