1 Chronicles 17
1 Nowe afterward when Dauid dwelt in his house, he saide to Nathan the Prophet, Beholde, I dwell in an house of cedar trees, but the Arke of the Lordes couenant remaineth vnder curtaines.
১নিজের বাড়িতে বাস করবার দিন একদিন দায়ূদ ভাববাদী নাথনকে বললেন, “আমি এখন এরস কাঠের ঘরে বাস করছি কিন্তু সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম সিন্দুকটি রয়েছে একটা তাঁবুর মধ্যে।”
2 Then Nathan said to Dauid, Do all that is in thine heart: for God is with thee.
২উত্তরে নাথন দায়ূদকে বললেন, “আপনার মনে যা আছে আপনি তাই করুন; কারণ ঈশ্বর আপনার সঙ্গে আছেন।”
3 And the same night euen the word of God came to Nathan, saying,
৩সেই রাতে ঈশ্বরের বাক্য নাথনের কাছে উপস্থিত হলো; তিনি বললেন,
4 Goe, and tell Dauid my seruant, Thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not buylde me an house to dwell in:
৪“তুমি গিয়ে আমার দাস দায়ূদকে বল যে, সদাপ্রভু বলছেন, ‘আমার থাকবার ঘর তুমি তৈরী করবে না।
5 For I haue dwelt in no house, since the day that I brought out the childre of Israel vnto this daye, but I haue bene from tent to tent, and from habitation to habitation.
৫মিশর দেশ থেকে ইস্রায়েলীয়দের বের করে আনবার দিন থেকে আজ পর্যন্ত আমি কোনো ঘরে বাস করিনি। এক তাঁবু থেকে অন্য তাঁবুতে, এক বাসস্থান থেকে অন্য বাসস্থানে গিয়েছি।
6 Wheresoeuer I haue walked with all Israel spake I one word to any of the iudges of Israel (whome I commanded to feede my people) saying, Why haue ye not built mee an house of cedar trees?
৬যে সব নেতাদের উপর আমি আমার লোকদের পালন করবার ভার দিয়েছিলাম, বিভিন্ন জায়গায় ইস্রায়েলীয়দের সঙ্গে ঘুরে বেড়াবার দিন আমি সেই নেতাদের কি কোনো দিন বলেছি যে, তারা কেন আমার জন্য এরস কাঠের ঘর তৈরী করে নি?’
7 Nowe therefore thus shalt thou say vnto my seruant Dauid, Thus saith the Lord of hostes, I tooke thee from the sheepecoat and from following the sheepe, that thou shouldest bee a prince ouer my people Israel.
৭“এখন তুমি আমার দাস দায়ূদকে বল যে, বাহিনীগণের সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলছেন, ‘আমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের শাসনকর্ত্তা হবার জন্য আমিই তোমাকে পশু চরাবার মাঠ থেকে, ভেড়ার পালের পিছন থেকে নিয়ে এসেছি।
8 And I haue bene with thee whithersoeuer thou hast walked, and haue destroyed all thine enemies out of thy sight, and haue made thee a name, like the name of the great men that are in the earth.
৮তুমি যে সব জায়গায় গিয়েছ আমিও সেখানে তোমার সঙ্গে গিয়েছি এবং তোমার সামনে থেকে তোমার সমস্ত শত্রুদের শেষ করে দিয়েছি। আমি তোমার নাম পৃথিবীর মহান লোকদের নামের মত বিখ্যাত করব।
9 (Also I will appoynt a place for my people Israel, and will plant it, that they may dwell in their place, and moue no more: neither shall the wicked people vexe them any more, as at the beginning,
৯আমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের জন্য আমি একটা জায়গা ঠিক করে সেখানেই গাছের মত তাদের লাগিয়ে দেব যাতে তারা নিজেদের জায়গায় শান্তিতে বাস করতে পারে
10 And since the time that I commanded iudges ouer my people Israel) And I wil subdue all thine enemies: therefore I say vnto thee, that the Lord wil buylde thee an house.
১০এবং আমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের উপর শাসনকর্ত্তা নিযুক্ত করবার পর থেকে দুষ্ট লোকেরা তাদের উপর যে অত্যাচার করে আসছে তারা যেন আর তা করতে না পারে। আমি তোমার সব শত্রুদেরও দমন করব। আমি আরও বলছি যে, আমি সদাপ্রভু তোমার বংশকে গড়ে তুলব।
11 And when thy dayes shalbe fulfilled to go with thy fathers, then will I rayse vp thy seede after thee, which shalbe of thy sonnes, and will stablish his kingdome.
১১তোমার আয়ু শেষ হলে পর যখন তুমি তোমার পূর্বপুরুষদের কাছে চলে যাবে তখন আমি তোমার জায়গায় তোমার বংশের এক জনকে, তোমার নিজের বংশধরদেরকে বসাব এবং তার রাজ্য স্থির রাখব।
12 He shall builde me an house, and I will stablish his throne for euer.
১২তোমার সেই ছেলেই আমার জন্য একটা ঘর তৈরী করবে, আর তার সিংহাসন আমি চিরকাল স্থায়ী করব।
13 I wil be his father, and he shalbe my sonne, aud I will not take my mercie away from him, as I tooke it from him that was before thee.
১৩আমি তার বাবা আর সে হবে আমার ছেলে। আমার ভালবাসা আমি কখনও তার উপর থেকে তুলে নেব না, যেমন করে আমি তুলে নিয়েছিলাম তোমার আগে যে ছিল তার উপর থেকে।
14 But I wil establish him in mine house, and in my kingdome for euer, and his throne shalbe stablished for euer,
১৪আমার ঘরের ও আমার রাজ্যের উপরে আমি তাকে চিরকাল স্থির রাখব এবং তার সিংহাসন চিরস্থায়ী হবে’।”
15 According to all these wordes, and according to al this vision. So Nathan spake to Dauid.
১৫এই দর্শনের সমস্ত কথা নাথন দায়ূদকে বললেন।
16 And Dauid the King went in and sate before the Lord and said, Who am I, O Lord God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?
১৬এই সব কথা শুনে রাজা দায়ূদ তাঁবুর ভিতরে গেলেন এবং সদাপ্রভুর সামনে বসে বললেন, হে ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু, আমিই বা কি, আর আমার বংশই বা কি যে, তুমি আমাকে এত দূর পর্যন্ত নিয়ে এসেছ?
17 Yet thou esteeming this a small thing, O God, hast also spoken concerning the house of thy seruaut for a great while, and hast regarded me according to the estate of a man of hie degree, O Lord God.
১৭আর হে ঈশ্বর, এটাও তোমার চোখে যথেষ্ট হয়নি; এর সঙ্গে তোমার দাসের বংশের ভবিষ্যতের কথাও তুমি বলেছ। হে ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু, আমি যেন একজন মহান লোক সেই চোখেই তুমি আমাকে দেখেছ।
18 What can Dauid desire more of thee for the honour of thy seruant? for thou knowest thy seruant.
১৮তোমার দাসের প্রতি যে সম্মান দেখালে তাতে আমি তোমার কাছে আর বেশী কি বলতে পারি? তুমি তো তোমার দাসকে জান।
19 O Lord, for thy seruantes sake, euen according to thine heart hast thou done all this great thing to declare all magnificence.
১৯হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার দাসের জন্য তোমার ইচ্ছা অনুসারে এই মহৎ কাজ তুমি করেছ আর তোমার দাসকে তা জানিয়েছ।
20 Lord, there is none like thee, neither is there any God besides thee, according to all that we haue heard with our eares.
২০হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার মত আর কেউ নেই এবং তুমি ছাড়া কোনো ঈশ্বর নেই; আমরা নিজের কানেই এই কথা শুনেছি।
21 Moreouer what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whose God went to redeeme them to be his people, and to make thy selfe a Name, and to doe great and terrible things by casting out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast deliuered out of Egypt?
২১তোমার ইস্রায়েল জাতির মত পৃথিবীতে আর কোনো জাতি নেই, যাকে তুমি তোমার নিজের লোক করবার জন্য মুক্ত করেছ। তুমি তাদের মিশর দেশ থেকে মুক্ত করে তাদের সামনে থেকে অন্যান্য জাতিদের দূর করে দিয়েছ। তোমার নিজের গৌরব প্রকাশের জন্য মহৎ ও ভয়ঙ্কর কাজের মধ্য দিয়ে তুমি তা করেছ।
22 For thou hast ordeined thy people Israel to be thine owne people for euer, and thou Lord art become their God.
২২তোমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের তুমি নিজের উদ্দেশ্যে চিরকাল তোমার নিজের লোক করেছ, আর তুমি, হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি তাদের ঈশ্বর হয়েছ।
23 Therefore nowe Lord, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy seruant and concerning his house, be confirmed for euer, and doe as thou hast sayd,
২৩এখন হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার ও আমার বংশের বিষয়ে তুমি যে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছ তা চিরকাল রক্ষা কর। তোমার প্রতিজ্ঞা অনুসারেই তা কর।
24 And let thy name be stable and magnified for euer, that it may be sayd, The Lord of hostes, God of Israel, is the God of Israel, and let the house of Dauid thy seruant bee stablished before thee.
২৪এতে আমার বংশ স্থায়ী হবে এবং চিরকাল তোমার গৌরব হবে। তখন লোকে বলবে, সর্বক্ষমতার অধিকারী সদাপ্রভুই ইস্রায়েলীয়দের ঈশ্বর, সত্যিই ইস্রায়েলীয়দের ঈশ্বর! আর তোমার দাস দায়ূদের বংশ তোমার সামনে স্থির থাকবে।
25 For thou, O my God, hast reueiled vnto the eare of thy seruant, that thou wilt builde him an house: therefore thy seruant hath bene bolde to pray before thee.
২৫হে আমার ঈশ্বর, তুমিই আমার কাছে এই বিষয় প্রকাশ করে বলেছ যে, তুমি আমার মধ্য দিয়ে একটা বংশ গড়ে তুলবে। তাই তোমার কাছে এই প্রার্থনা করতে আমার মনে সাহস হয়েছে।
26 Therefore nowe Lord (for thou art God, and hast spoken this goodnesse vnto thy seruant)
২৬হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমিই ঈশ্বর। এই মঙ্গলের প্রতিজ্ঞা তুমিই তোমার দাসের কাছে করেছ।
27 Now therfore, it hath pleased thee to blesse the house of thy seruant, that it may bee before thee for euer: for thou, O Lord, hast blessed it, and it shalbe blessed for euer.
২৭আমার বংশকে তুমি সন্তুষ্ট হয়ে আশীর্বাদ করেছ যাতে এই বংশ চিরকাল তোমার সামনে থাকে; কারণ, হে সদাপ্রভু তুমিই আশীর্বাদ করেছ এবং তাই তা চিরকালের জন্য আশীর্বাদযুক্ত।
