1 Chronicles 15
1 And Dauid made him houses in the citie of Dauid, and prepared a place for the Arke of God, and pitched for it a tent.
David si je v Davidovem mestu zgradil hiše in pripravil kraj za Božjo skrinjo in zanjo razpel šotor.
2 Then Dauid saide, None ought to carie the Arke of God, but the Leuites: for the Lord hath chosen them to beare the Arke of the Lord, and to minister vnto him for euer.
Potem je David rekel: »Božje skrinje ne bi smel nositi nihče razen Lévijevcev, kajti njih je Gospod izbral, da nosijo Božjo skrinjo in da mu služijo na veke.«
3 And Dauid gathered all Israel together to Ierusalem to bring vp the Arke of the Lord vnto his place, which he had ordeined for it.
David je skupaj zbral ves Izrael v Jeruzalemu, da prinese gor Gospodovo skrinjo na kraj, ki ga je pripravil zanjo.
4 And Dauid assembled the sonnes of Aaron, and the Leuites.
David je zbral Aronove otroke in Lévijevce.
5 Of the sonnes of Kohath, Vriel the chiefe, and his brethren sixe score.
Izmed Kehátovih sinov vodja Uriéla in sto dvajset njegovih bratov;
6 Of the sonnes of Merari, Asaiah the chiefe, and his brethren two hundreth and twentie.
izmed Meraríjevih sinov vodja Asajája in dvesto dvajset njegovih bratov;
7 Of the sonnes of Gershom, Ioel the chiefe, and his brethren an hundreth and thirtie.
izmed Geršómovih sinov vodja Joéla in sto trideset njegovih bratov;
8 Of the sonnes of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chiefe, and his brethren two hundreth.
izmed Elicafánovih sinov vodja Šemajá in dvesto njegovih bratov;
9 Of the sonnes of Hebron, Eliel the chiefe, and his brethren fourescore.
izmed Hebrónovih sinov vodja Eliéla in osemdeset njegovih bratov;
10 Of the sonnes of Vzziel, Amminadab the chiefe, and his brethren an hundreth and twelue.
izmed Uziélovih sinov vodja Aminadába in sto dvanajst njegovih bratov.
11 And Dauid called Zadok and Abiathar the Priestes, and of the Leuites, Vriel, Asaiah and Ioel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab:
David je dal poklicati Cadóka, duhovnika Abjatárja in Lévijevce Uriéla, Asajá, Joéla, Šemajá, Eliéla in Aminadába
12 And he saide vnto them, Ye are the chiefe fathers of the Leuites: sanctifie your selues, and your brethren, and bring vp the Arke of the Lord God of Israel vnto the place that I haue prepared for it.
ter jim rekel: »Vi ste vodje očetov Lévijevcev. Posvetite se tako vi kakor vaši bratje, da boste lahko prinesli gor skrinjo Gospoda, Izraelovega Boga, na kraj, ki sem ga pripravil zanjo.
13 For because ye were not there at the first, the Lord our God made a breach among vs: for we sought him not after due order.
Kajti ker tega niste najprej storili, je Gospod, naš Bog, nad nami naredil vrzel, ker ga nismo iskali po predpisanem redu.«
14 So the Priestes and the Leuites sanctified them selues to bring vp the Arke of the Lord God of Israel.
Tako so se duhovniki in Lévijevci posvetili, da prinesejo gor skrinjo Gospoda, Izraelovega Boga.
15 And the sonnes of the Leuites bare the Arke of God vpon their shoulders with the barres, as Moses had commanded, according to the worde of the Lord.
Lévijevi otroci so na svojih ramenih nosili Božjo skrinjo z njenima drogovoma v njej, kakor je zapovedal Mojzes, glede na Gospodovo besedo.
16 And Dauid spake to the chiefe of the Leuites, that they should appoint certaine of their brethren to sing with instruments of musike, with violes and harpes, and cymbales, that they might make a sounde, and lift vp their voyce with ioye.
David je spregovoril vodju Lévijevcev, da določi svoje brate, da bodo pevci z glasbenimi instrumenti, plunkami, harfami in cimbalami, z dvigovanjem zvenečega radostnega glasu.
17 So the Leuites appointed Heman the sonne of Ioel, and of his brethren Asaph the sonne of Berechiah, and of the sonnes of Merari their brethren, Ethan the sonne of Kushaiah,
Tako so Lévijevci določili Joélovega sina Hemána in izmed njegovih bratov Berehjájevega sina Asáfa in izmed Meraríjevih sinov, njihovih bratov, Kušajájevega sina Etána
18 And with them their brethren in the seconde degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Iaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, and Vnni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneah, and Obed Edom, and Ieiel the porters.
in z njimi njihove brate druge stopnje: Zeharjája, Bena, Jaaziéla, Šemiramóta, Jehiéla, Uníja, Eliába, Benajája, Maasejája, Matitjája, Elifeléhuja, Miknejája, Obéd Edóma in Jeiéla, vratarje.
19 So Heman, Asaph and Ethan were fingers to make a sounde with cymbales of brasse,
Tako so bili pevci Hemán, Asáf in Etán določeni, da igrajo na cimbale iz brona,
20 And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, and Vnni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah with violes on Alamoth,
Zeharjá, Jaaziél, Šemiramót, Jehiél, Uní, Eliáb, Maasejá in Benajá s plunkami na sopran,
21 And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneah, and Obed Edom, and Ieiel, and Azaziah, with harpes vpon Sheminith Ienazzeah.
in Matitjá, Elifeléhu, Miknejá, Obéd Edóm, Jeiél in Azazjá s harfami v oktavi, da vodijo.
22 But Chenaniah the chiefe of the Leuites had the charge, bearing ye burden in the charge, for he was able to instruct.
Kenanjá, vodja Lévijevcev, je bil za pesem. Poučil je glede pesmi, ker je bil vešč.
23 And Berechiah and Elkanah were porters for the Arke.
Berehjá in Elkaná sta bila vratarja za skrinjo.
24 And Shecaniah and Iehoshaphat and Nethaneel and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer the Priestes did blowe with trumpets before the Arke of God, and Obed Edom and Ieiiah were porters for the Arke.
Duhovniki Šebanjá, Józafat, Netanél, Amasáj, Zeharjá, Benajá in Eliézer so s trobentami trobili pred Božjo skrinjo; Obéd Edóm in Jehijá pa sta bila vratarja za skrinjo.
25 So Dauid and the Elders of Israel and the captaines of thousandes went to bring vp the Arke of the couenant of the Lord from the house of Obed Edom with ioye.
Tako so David, Izraelove starešine in tisočniki odšli, da iz hiše Obéd Edóma z radostjo prinesejo gor Gospodovo skrinjo zaveze.
26 And because that God helped the Leuites that bare the Arke of the couenant of the Lord, they offered seuen bullockes and seuen rammes.
Pripetilo se je, ko je Bog pomagal Lévijevcem, da so nosili skrinjo Gospodove zaveze, da so darovali sedem bikcev in sedem ovnov.
27 And Dauid had on him a linen garment, as all the Leuites that bare the Arke, and the singers and Chenaniah that had the chiefe charge of the singers: and vpon Dauid was a linnen Ephod.
David je bil oblečen s svečanim oblačilom iz tankega lanenega platna in vsi Lévijevci, ki so nosili skrinjo, pevci in Kenanjá, mojster pesmi s pevci; tudi David je imel na sebi efód iz lana.
28 Thus all Israel brought vp the Arke of the Lordes couenant with shouting and sounde of cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbales, making a sound with violes and with harpes.
Tako je ves Izrael prinesel gor Gospodovo skrinjo zaveze z vriskanjem, z zvokom kornéta, s trobentami, cimbalami in igrali so s plunkami in harfami.
29 And when the Arke of the couenant of the Lord came into the citie of Dauid, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at a windowe, and sawe King Dauid dauncing and playing, and she despised him in her heart.
Pripetilo se je, medtem ko je Gospodova skrinja prišla v Davidovo mesto, da je Savlova hči Mihála, zroč skozi okno, videla kralja Davida plesati in igrati in ga v svojem srcu prezirala.
