1 Chronicles 15
1 And Dauid made him houses in the citie of Dauid, and prepared a place for the Arke of God, and pitched for it a tent.
Și David și-a făcut case în cetatea lui David și a pregătit un loc pentru chivotul lui Dumnezeu și a ridicat pentru el un cort.
2 Then Dauid saide, None ought to carie the Arke of God, but the Leuites: for the Lord hath chosen them to beare the Arke of the Lord, and to minister vnto him for euer.
Atunci David a spus: Nimeni nu trebuie să poarte chivotul lui Dumnezeu ci doar leviții, fiindcă pe ei i-a ales DOMNUL să poarte chivotul lui Dumnezeu și să îi servească pentru totdeauna.
3 And Dauid gathered all Israel together to Ierusalem to bring vp the Arke of the Lord vnto his place, which he had ordeined for it.
Și David a adunat tot Israelul la Ierusalim, pentru a aduce chivotul DOMNULUI la locul lui, pe care îl pregătise pentru el.
4 And Dauid assembled the sonnes of Aaron, and the Leuites.
Și David a adunat pe copiii lui Aaron și pe leviți;
5 Of the sonnes of Kohath, Vriel the chiefe, and his brethren sixe score.
Dintre fiii lui Chehat: mai marele Uriel și frații lui, o sută douăzeci;
6 Of the sonnes of Merari, Asaiah the chiefe, and his brethren two hundreth and twentie.
Dintre fiii lui Merari: mai marele Asaia și frații lui, două sute douăzeci;
7 Of the sonnes of Gershom, Ioel the chiefe, and his brethren an hundreth and thirtie.
Dintre fiii lui Gherșom: mai marele Ioel și frații lui, o sută treizeci;
8 Of the sonnes of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chiefe, and his brethren two hundreth.
Dintre fiii lui Elițafan: mai marele Șemaia și frații lui, două sute;
9 Of the sonnes of Hebron, Eliel the chiefe, and his brethren fourescore.
Dintre fiii lui Hebron: mai marele Eliel și frații lui, optzeci;
10 Of the sonnes of Vzziel, Amminadab the chiefe, and his brethren an hundreth and twelue.
Dintre fiii lui Uziel: mai marele Aminadab și frații lui, o sută doisprezece.
11 And Dauid called Zadok and Abiathar the Priestes, and of the Leuites, Vriel, Asaiah and Ioel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab:
Și David a chemat pe Țadoc și pe Abiatar, preoții, și pe leviți, pe Uriel, pe Asaia și pe Ioel, pe Șemaia și pe Eliel și pe Aminadab,
12 And he saide vnto them, Ye are the chiefe fathers of the Leuites: sanctifie your selues, and your brethren, and bring vp the Arke of the Lord God of Israel vnto the place that I haue prepared for it.
Și le-a spus: Voi sunteți mai marii părinților leviților; sfințiți-vă, deopotrivă voi și frații voștri, ca să aduceți chivotul DOMNULUI Dumnezeul lui Israel la locul pe care l-am pregătit pentru el.
13 For because ye were not there at the first, the Lord our God made a breach among vs: for we sought him not after due order.
Fiindcă voi nu ați făcut aceasta de la început, DOMNUL Dumnezeul nostru a făcut o spărtură asupra noastră, deoarece nu l-am căutat după rânduiala cuvenită.
14 So the Priestes and the Leuites sanctified them selues to bring vp the Arke of the Lord God of Israel.
Astfel preoții și leviții s-au sfințit pentru a duce chivotul DOMNULUI Dumnezeul lui Israel.
15 And the sonnes of the Leuites bare the Arke of God vpon their shoulders with the barres, as Moses had commanded, according to the worde of the Lord.
Și copiii leviților au purtat chivotul lui Dumnezeu, pe umerii lor, cu drugii în el, precum Moise poruncise conform cuvântului DOMNULUI.
16 And Dauid spake to the chiefe of the Leuites, that they should appoint certaine of their brethren to sing with instruments of musike, with violes and harpes, and cymbales, that they might make a sounde, and lift vp their voyce with ioye.
Și David a vorbit mai marelui leviților să rânduiască pe frații lor să fie cântăreți cu instrumente de muzică, psalterioane și harpe și chimvale, sunând și înălțându-și vocea cu bucurie.
17 So the Leuites appointed Heman the sonne of Ioel, and of his brethren Asaph the sonne of Berechiah, and of the sonnes of Merari their brethren, Ethan the sonne of Kushaiah,
Astfel leviții au rânduit pe Heman, fiul lui Ioel; și dintre frații săi, pe Asaf, fiul lui Berechia; și dintre fiii lui Merari, frații lor, pe Etan, fiul lui Cușaia;
18 And with them their brethren in the seconde degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Iaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, and Vnni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneah, and Obed Edom, and Ieiel the porters.
Și cu ei pe frații lor de gradul doi: pe Zaharia, pe Ben și pe Iaaziel și pe Șemiramot și pe Iehiel și pe Uni, pe Eliab și pe Benaia și pe Maaseia și pe Matitia și pe Elifele și pe Micneia și pe Obed-Edom și pe Ieiel, portarii.
19 So Heman, Asaph and Ethan were fingers to make a sounde with cymbales of brasse,
Astfel cântăreții: Heman, Asaf și Etan, au fost rânduiți să sune din chimvale de aramă;
20 And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, and Vnni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah with violes on Alamoth,
Și pe Zaharia și pe Aziel și pe Șemiramot și pe Iehiel și pe Uni și pe Eliab și pe Maaseia și pe Benaia, cu psalterioane pe alamot;
21 And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneah, and Obed Edom, and Ieiel, and Azaziah, with harpes vpon Sheminith Ienazzeah.
Și pe Matitia și pe Elifele și pe Micneia și pe Obed-Edom și pe Ieiel și pe Azazia, care cântau cu harpe cu opt corzi spre întărirea sunetului.
22 But Chenaniah the chiefe of the Leuites had the charge, bearing ye burden in the charge, for he was able to instruct.
Și Chenania, mai marele leviților, avea sarcina cântării, el instruia în cântare, deoarece el era iscusit.
23 And Berechiah and Elkanah were porters for the Arke.
Și Berechia și Elcana erau ușieri pentru chivot.
24 And Shecaniah and Iehoshaphat and Nethaneel and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer the Priestes did blowe with trumpets before the Arke of God, and Obed Edom and Ieiiah were porters for the Arke.
Și Șebania și Iosafat și Netaneel și Amasai și Zaharia și Benaia și Eliezer, preoții, au suflat din trâmbițe înaintea chivotului lui Dumnezeu. Și Obed-Edom și Iehia erau ușieri pentru chivot.
25 So Dauid and the Elders of Israel and the captaines of thousandes went to bring vp the Arke of the couenant of the Lord from the house of Obed Edom with ioye.
Astfel David și bătrânii Israelului și căpeteniile peste mii, au mers să aducă chivotul legământului DOMNULUI din casa lui Obed-Edom, cu bucurie.
26 And because that God helped the Leuites that bare the Arke of the couenant of the Lord, they offered seuen bullockes and seuen rammes.
Și s-a întâmplat, când Dumnezeu a ajutat pe leviții care au purtat chivotul legământului DOMNULUI, că au oferit șapte tauri și șapte berbeci.
27 And Dauid had on him a linen garment, as all the Leuites that bare the Arke, and the singers and Chenaniah that had the chiefe charge of the singers: and vpon Dauid was a linnen Ephod.
Și David și toți leviții care au purtat chivotul și cântăreții și Chenania, maestrul cântării cu cântăreții, erau îmbrăcați cu o robă de in subțire; David de asemenea avea pe el și un efod de in.
28 Thus all Israel brought vp the Arke of the Lordes couenant with shouting and sounde of cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbales, making a sound with violes and with harpes.
Astfel tot Israelul a adus chivotul legământului DOMNULUI cu strigare și cu sunet de cornet și cu trâmbițe și cu chimvale, sunând din psalterioane și harpe.
29 And when the Arke of the couenant of the Lord came into the citie of Dauid, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at a windowe, and sawe King Dauid dauncing and playing, and she despised him in her heart.
Și s-a întâmplat, precum chivotul legământului DOMNULUI a intrat în cetatea lui David, că Mical, fiica lui Saul, privind afară pe fereastră, a văzut pe împăratul David dansând și jucând, și l-a disprețuit în inima ei.
