1 Chronicles 15
1 And Dauid made him houses in the citie of Dauid, and prepared a place for the Arke of God, and pitched for it a tent.
Csináltata pedig Dávid magának házakat az ő városában; és helyet készített az Isten ládájának, és annak sátort állított fel.
2 Then Dauid saide, None ought to carie the Arke of God, but the Leuites: for the Lord hath chosen them to beare the Arke of the Lord, and to minister vnto him for euer.
Akkor monda Dávid: Nem szabad másnak hordozni az Isten ládáját, hanem csak a Lévitáknak, mert az Úr őket választotta, hogy hordozzák az Isten ládáját, és néki szolgáljanak mindörökké.
3 And Dauid gathered all Israel together to Ierusalem to bring vp the Arke of the Lord vnto his place, which he had ordeined for it.
Összegyűjté azért Dávid Jeruzsálembe az egész Izráel népét, hogy az Úr ládáját az ő helyére vitesse, melyet számára csináltatott vala.
4 And Dauid assembled the sonnes of Aaron, and the Leuites.
Összegyűjté Dávid az Áron fiait is és a Lévitákat.
5 Of the sonnes of Kohath, Vriel the chiefe, and his brethren sixe score.
A Kéhát fiai között fő vala Uriel, és az ő atyjafiai százhúszan valának.
6 Of the sonnes of Merari, Asaiah the chiefe, and his brethren two hundreth and twentie.
A Mérári fiai között Asája volt a fő, és az ő atyjafiai kétszázhúszan valának.
7 Of the sonnes of Gershom, Ioel the chiefe, and his brethren an hundreth and thirtie.
A Gerson fiai között Jóel volt a fő, és az ő atyjafiai százharminczan valának.
8 Of the sonnes of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chiefe, and his brethren two hundreth.
Az Elisáfán fiai között Semája volt a fő, és az ő atyjafiai kétszázan valának.
9 Of the sonnes of Hebron, Eliel the chiefe, and his brethren fourescore.
A Hebron fiai között Eliel volt a fő, és az ő atyjafiai nyolczvanan valának.
10 Of the sonnes of Vzziel, Amminadab the chiefe, and his brethren an hundreth and twelue.
Az Uzziel fiai között fő vala Amminádáb, és az ő atyjafiai száztizenketten.
11 And Dauid called Zadok and Abiathar the Priestes, and of the Leuites, Vriel, Asaiah and Ioel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab:
Hivatá akkor Dávid Sádók és Abjátár papokat, a Léviták közül pedig Urielt, Asáját, Jóelt, Sémáját, Elielt és Amminádábot.
12 And he saide vnto them, Ye are the chiefe fathers of the Leuites: sanctifie your selues, and your brethren, and bring vp the Arke of the Lord God of Israel vnto the place that I haue prepared for it.
És monda nékik: Ti vagytok a Léviták családfői. Szenteljétek meg magatokat s a ti atyátokfiait, és vigyétek az Úrnak, Izráel Istenének ládáját arra a helyre, a melyet készítettem számára.
13 For because ye were not there at the first, the Lord our God made a breach among vs: for we sought him not after due order.
Minthogy kezdettől fogva nem mívelték ezt, az Úr, a mi Istenünk csapást bocsátott reánk, mert nem kerestük őt a rendtartás szerint.
14 So the Priestes and the Leuites sanctified them selues to bring vp the Arke of the Lord God of Israel.
Megszentelék azért magokat a papok és a Léviták, hogy vigyék az Úrnak, Izráel Istenének ládáját.
15 And the sonnes of the Leuites bare the Arke of God vpon their shoulders with the barres, as Moses had commanded, according to the worde of the Lord.
És felvevék a Léviták fiai az Isten ládáját, úgy, a mint Mózes meghagyta volt az Úrnak beszéde szerint, a rudakkal vállaikra.
16 And Dauid spake to the chiefe of the Leuites, that they should appoint certaine of their brethren to sing with instruments of musike, with violes and harpes, and cymbales, that they might make a sounde, and lift vp their voyce with ioye.
És monda Dávid a Léviták fejedelmeinek, hogy állítsanak az ő atyjokfiai közül éneklőket, éneklőszerszámokkal, lantokkal, cziterákkal és czimbalmokkal, hogy énekeljenek felemelt szóval, nagy örömmel.
17 So the Leuites appointed Heman the sonne of Ioel, and of his brethren Asaph the sonne of Berechiah, and of the sonnes of Merari their brethren, Ethan the sonne of Kushaiah,
Választák azért a Léviták Hémánt a Jóel fiát, és az ő atyjafiai közül Asáfot, a Berekiás fiát, és a Mérári fiai közül, a kik azoknak atyjokfiai valának, Etánt, a Kúsája fiát.
18 And with them their brethren in the seconde degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Iaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, and Vnni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneah, and Obed Edom, and Ieiel the porters.
És ő velök együtt az ő atyjokfiait másod renden, Zakariást, Bént, Jeázielt, Semirámótot, Jéhielt, Unnit, Eliábot, Benáját, Maaséját, Mattithját, Elifélet, Miknéját, Obed-Edomot és Jehielt, a kik ajtónállók valának.
19 So Heman, Asaph and Ethan were fingers to make a sounde with cymbales of brasse,
Éneklők: Hémán, Asáf és Etán, réz czimbalmokkal, hogy zengedezzenek;
20 And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, and Vnni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah with violes on Alamoth,
Zakariás, Aziel, Semirámót, Jéhiel, Unni, Eliáb, Maaséja és Benája lantokkal a szűzek módjára;
21 And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneah, and Obed Edom, and Ieiel, and Azaziah, with harpes vpon Sheminith Ienazzeah.
Mattithja, Eliféle, Miknéja, Obed-Edom, Jéhiel és Azaziás, hogy énekeljenek cziterákkal a nyolczhúrú szerint.
22 But Chenaniah the chiefe of the Leuites had the charge, bearing ye burden in the charge, for he was able to instruct.
És Kénániás volt a Léviták vezére az éneklésben, ő igazgatá az éneklést, mivel tudós vala.
23 And Berechiah and Elkanah were porters for the Arke.
Berekiás és Elkána a láda előtt való ajtónállók valának:
24 And Shecaniah and Iehoshaphat and Nethaneel and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer the Priestes did blowe with trumpets before the Arke of God, and Obed Edom and Ieiiah were porters for the Arke.
Sébániás pedig és Jósafát, Nétanéel, Amásai, Zakariás, Benája és Eliézer papok kürtölnek vala az Isten ládája előtt; Obed-Edom és Jéhija, a kik kapunállók valának, a láda után mennek vala.
25 So Dauid and the Elders of Israel and the captaines of thousandes went to bring vp the Arke of the couenant of the Lord from the house of Obed Edom with ioye.
Dávid pedig s az Izráel vénei és az ezredek vezérei, a kik elmenének, hogy felvigyék az Úr szövetségének ládáját az Obed-Edom házából, nagy örömben valának.
26 And because that God helped the Leuites that bare the Arke of the couenant of the Lord, they offered seuen bullockes and seuen rammes.
Lőn pedig, mikor az Isten megsegíté a Lévitákat, akik az Úr szövetségének ládáját viszik vala, áldozának hét tulokkal és hét kossal.
27 And Dauid had on him a linen garment, as all the Leuites that bare the Arke, and the singers and Chenaniah that had the chiefe charge of the singers: and vpon Dauid was a linnen Ephod.
Dávid pedig bíborból csinált ruhába öltözvén, valamint a Léviták mind, a kik a ládát viszik vala, az éneklők is és Kénániás, a ki az éneklés vezére vala, énekelének (Dávidon pedig gyolcsból csinált efód vala).
28 Thus all Israel brought vp the Arke of the Lordes couenant with shouting and sounde of cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbales, making a sound with violes and with harpes.
És az egész Izráel vivé az Úr szövetségének ládáját nagy örömmel, kürtökkel, trombitákkal, czimbalmokkal, zengedezvén lantokkal és cziterákkal.
29 And when the Arke of the couenant of the Lord came into the citie of Dauid, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at a windowe, and sawe King Dauid dauncing and playing, and she despised him in her heart.
Mikor pedig immár az Úr szövetségének ládája a Dávid városába jutott, Mikál a Saul leánya kitekinte az ablakon, s látván, hogy Dávid király tánczol és vígad, szívében megutálá őt.
