1 Chronicles 11
1 Then all Israel gathered themselues to Dauid vnto Hebron, saying, Beholde, we are thy bones and thy flesh.
[達味為王]那時，全以色列人聚集到赫貝龍，來見達味說：「看，我們都是你的骨肉。
2 And in time past, euen when Saul was King, thou leddest Israel out and in: and the Lord thy God sayde vnto thee, Thou shalt feede my people Israel, and thou shalt be captaine ouer my people Israel.
以前連撒烏耳為王時，也是你率領以色列出入征討；並且上主你的天主，也曾對你說過：你應牧養我的百姓以色列，作我的百姓以色列的領袖。」
3 So came all the Elders of Israel to the King to Hebron, and Dauid made a couenant with them in Hebron before the Lord. And they anoynted Dauid King ouer Israel, according to the word of the Lord by the hand of Samuel.
以色列所有的長老都到赫貝龍來見君王，達味就在赫貝龍，在上主面前同他們立了約；他們便按照上主藉撒慕爾所吩咐的，給達味傅油，立他為以色列王。[佔領耶路撒冷]
4 And Dauid and all Israel went to Ierusalem, which is Iebus, where were the Iebusites, the inhabitants of the land.
達味和全以色列人便向耶路撒冷，即耶步斯進發，當時住在那地方的是耶步斯人。
5 And the inhabitants of Iebus said to Dauid, Thou shalt not come in hither. Neuertheles Dauid tooke the towre of Zion, which is the city of Dauid.
耶步斯的居民對達味說：「你決攻不進此地。」但是，達味卻佔領了熙雍山堡，即今達味城。
6 And Dauid sayd, Whosoeuer smiteth the Iebusites first, shalbe the chiefe and captaine. So Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah went first vp, and was captaine.
達味曾說過：「誰首先擊敗耶步斯人，誰將升為將領和元帥。」責魯雅的兒子約阿布首先上去了，所以他成了元帥。
7 And Dauid dwelt in the tower: therefore they called it the citie of Dauid.
達味便住在那山堡內，因此人稱之為達味城。
8 And he built the citie on euery side, from Millo euen round about, and Ioab repaired the rest of the citie.
達味又重修四周城垣，從米羅起，重修一週；城的其餘部份由約阿布修建。
9 And Dauid prospered, and grewe: for the Lord of hostes was with him.
達味日漸強盛，萬軍的上主與他同在。[達味的將士名單]
10 These also are the chiefe of the valiant men that were with Dauid, and ioyned their force with him in his kingdome with al Israel, to make him King ouer Israel, according to the worde of the Lord.
以下這些人，是極力擁護達味建國，與全以色列人照上主對以色列所吩咐的，立他為王的主要將士。
11 And this is the nomber of the valiant men whome Dauid had, Iashobeam the sonne of Hachmoni, the chiefe among thirtie: he lift vp his speare against three hundreth, whom he slewe at one time.
達味的將士名單如下：哈革摩尼的兒子依市巴耳，是三傑之首；一次他曾舉起長矛，擊殺了三百人。
12 And after him was Eleazar the sonne of Dodo the Ahohite, which was one of the three valiant men.
次為阿曷亞人多多的兒子厄肋阿匝爾，三傑之一，
13 He was with Dauid at Pas-dammim, and there the Philistims were gathered together to battel: and there was a parcell of ground full of barley, and the people fled before the Philistims.
他以前同達味在帕斯達明，培肋舍特人正在那裏集合準備交戰時，【以色列人退卻，他卻固守陣地，擊殺培肋舍特人，直到他手軟無力，粘在刀柄上。上主在那一天完成了一大勝利；民眾返回，隨著他去搶戰利品。再其次是哈辣黎人厄拉的兒子沙瑪，那時培肋舍特人在肋希集合，】在那裏有一塊長滿大麥的田地，民眾由培肋舍特人面前逃走，
14 And they stood in the middes of the field, and saued it, and slewe the Philistims: so the Lord gaue a great victorie.
他卻立在田間保護了那塊田地，殺敗了培肋舍特人，如此上主又完成了一次大勝利。
15 And three of the thirtie captaines went to a rocke to Dauid, into the caue of Adullam. And the armie of the Philistims camped in the valley of Rephaim.
一次三十勇士中，有三位下到阿杜藍山砦附近的岩石裏去見達味，那時培肋舍特人正紮營在勒法因平原，
16 And when Dauid was in the hold, the Philistims garison was at Beth-lehem.
同時達味恰在山砦內，培肋舍特人當時也在白冷駐防，
17 And Dauid longed, and said, Oh, that one would giue me to drinke of the water of the well of Beth-lehem that is at the gate.
達味渴望說：「誰能從白冷城門旁的井中，給我打一點水來喝呢﹖」
18 Then these three brake thorowe the hoste of the Philistims, and drewe water out of the well of Beth-lehem that was by the gate, and tooke it and brought it to Dauid: but Dauid would not drinke of it, but powred it for an oblation to the Lord,
那三位勇士就衝過培肋舍特人的營幕，從白冷城門旁的井中打了水，將水取來帶到達味前；但達味不肯喝，反而將水奠於上主前，
19 And said, Let not my God suffer me to do this: should I drinke the blood of these mens liues? for they haue brought it with the ieopardie of their liues: therefore he would not drinke it: these things did these three mightie men.
說「我的天主決不許我做這事! 我豈能喝這些冒生命危險者的血﹖因為這是他們冒生命危險取來的。」所以他不肯喝。這是這三個勇士所做的。
20 And Abishai the brother of Ioab, he was chiefe of the three, and he lift vp his speare against three hundreth, and slew them, and had the name among the three.
約阿布的兄弟阿彼瑟，是三十勇士的領袖，他揮舞長矛殺了三百人，因此在三十勇士中出了名；
21 Among the three he was more honourable then the two, and he was their captaine: but he attained not vnto the first three.
他在三十勇士中享有雙重的名望，做了他們的領袖，做了他們的領袖，但尚不及三傑。
22 Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada (the sonne of a valiant man) which had done many actes, and was of Kabzeel, he slewe two strong men of Moab: he went downe also and slewe a lion in the middes of a pit in time of snowe.
約雅達的兒子貝納雅原是卡貝責耳人，是一位英勇大有作為的人，曾擊殺摩阿布人阿黎耳的兩個兒子；又在下雪天，下到旱井裡打死了一隻獅子。
23 And he slewe an Egyptian, a man of great stature, euen fiue cubites long, and in the Egyptians hand was a speare like a weauers beame: and he went downe to him with a staffe, and plucked the speare out of the Egyptians hand, and slewe him with his owne speare.
他也曾打死了一個埃及巨人。這埃及人人身高五肘，手中拿著粗如織布機軸的長矛，貝納雅下去，手中僅拿著一根棍杖，從那埃及人手中，把長矛奪了過來，用那長矛將他殺死。
24 These things did Benaiah ye sonne of Iehoiada, and had the name among the three worthies.
這是約雅達的兒子貝納雅所做的事。因此在三十勇士中出了名。
25 Behold, he was honourable among thirtie, but he attained not vnto the first three. And Dauid made him of his counsell.
他比三十勇士更有名望，但尚不及三傑。達味派他作侍衛長。
26 These also were valiant men of warre, Asahel the brother of Ioab, Elhanan the sonne of Dodo of Beth-lehem,
其餘的勇士：有約阿布的兄弟阿撒耳，白冷人多多的兒子厄耳哈難，
27 Shammoth the Harodite, Helez the Pelonite,
哈洛得人沙摩特，帕耳提人赫肋茲，
28 Ira the sonne of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Antothite,
特科亞人依刻士的兒子依辣，阿納托特人阿彼厄則爾，
29 Sibbecai the Husathite, Ilai the Ahohite,
胡沙人息貝開，阿曷亞人衣來，
30 Maharai the Netophathite, Heled ye sonne of Baanah the Netophathite,
乃托法人瑪哈賴，乃托法人巴阿納的兒子赫肋得，
31 Ithai the sonne of Ribai of Gibeah of the children of Beniamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,
本雅明族基貝亞人黎拜的兒子依泰、丕辣通人貝納雅，
32 Hurai of the riuers of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,
加阿士士溪人胡賴，貝特阿辣巴人阿彼巴耳，
33 Azmaueth the Baharumite, Elihaba the Shaalbonite,
巴胡陵人阿次瑪委特，沙阿耳賓人厄里雅巴，
34 The sonnes of Hashem the Gizonite, Ionathan the sonne of Shageh the Harite,
基宗人雅笙，哈辣黎人沙革的兒子約納堂，
35 Ahiam the sonne of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal the sonne of Vr,
哈辣黎人撒加爾的兒子阿希楊，烏爾的兒子厄里法耳，
36 Hepher the Mecherathite, Ahiiah the Pelonite,
默革辣人赫費爾，基羅人阿希雅，
37 Hezro the Carmelite, Naarai the sonne of Ezbai,
加爾默耳人赫茲賴，厄次拜的兒子納阿賴，
38 Ioel the brother of Nathan, Mibhar the sonne of Haggeri,
納堂的兄弟約厄耳，哈革黎的兒子米貝哈爾，
39 Zelek the Ammonite, Nahrai the Berothite, the armour bearer of Ioab, the sonne of Zeruiah,
阿孟人責肋克，貝厄洛特人納赫賴，他是責魯雅的兒子約阿布的執戟者，
40 Ira the Ithrite, Garib the Ithrite,
雅提爾人依辣，雅提爾人加勒布，
41 Vriah the Hittite, Zabad the sonne of Ahlai,
赫特人烏黎雅，阿赫來的兒子匝巴得，
42 Adina the sonne of Shiza the Reubenite, a captaine of the Reubenites, and thirtie with him,
勒烏本人史匝的兒子阿狄納，他是勒烏本人的首領，有三十個人跟隨他，
43 Hanan the sonne of Maachah, and Ioshaphat the Mithnite,
瑪加的兒子哈南，默騰人約沙法特，
44 Vzia the Ashterathite, Shama and Ieiel the sonnes of Otham the Aroerite,
阿市塔洛特人烏齊雅，阿洛厄爾人曷堂的兒子沙瑪和耶厄耳，
45 Iediael the sonne of Shimri, and Ioha his brother the Tizite,
提漆人史默黎的兒子耶狄阿耳和他的兄弟約哈，
46 Eliel the Mahauite, and Ieribai and Ioshauiah the sonnes of Elnaam, and Ithmah the Moabite,
瑪紅人厄里耳，厄耳納罕的兒子耶黎拜和約沙委雅，摩阿布人依特瑪，
47 Eliel and Obed, and Iaasiel the Mesobaite.
厄里耳，敖貝得和祚巴人雅息耳。
