1 Chronicles 10
1 Then the Philistims fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled before the Philistims, and fell downe slaine in mount Gilboa.
Филистими же воеваша противу Израиля, и бежаша мужие Израилевы от лица иноплеменническа и падоша ранени на горе Гелвуи.
2 And the Philistims pursued after Saul and after his sonnes, and the Philistims smote Ionathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua the sonnes of Saul.
И погнаша иноплеменницы вслед Саула и вслед сынов его: и убиша иноплеменницы Ионафана и Аминадава и Мелхисуа, сынов Сауловых.
3 And the battel was sore against Saul; and the archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers.
И отягчися брань на Саула, и обретоша его стрелцы в луках и в трудех, и изнеможе от стрел.
4 Then sayde Saul to his armour bearer, Drawe out thy sworde, and thrust me thorowe therewith, lest these vncircumcised come and mocke at me: but his armour bearer would not, for he was sore afraid: therefore Saul tooke the sword and fell vpon it.
И рече Саул к носящему оружие его: извлецы мечь твой и прободи мя им, да не когда приидут необрезаннии сии и поругаются мне. И не восхоте носяй оружие его, яко убояся зело. И взя Саул мечь и нападе нань.
5 And when his armour bearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise vpon the sworde, and dyed.
И виде носяй оружие его, яко умре Саул, и нападе и он на мечь свой и умре.
6 So Saul dyed and his three sonnes, and all his house, they dyed together.
И умре Саул и три сына его в день он: и весь дом его купно умре.
7 And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley, sawe how they fledde, and that Saul and his sonnes were dead, they forsooke their cities, and fled away, and the Philistims came, and dwelt in them.
И видеша вси мужие Израилевы, иже во юдоли, яко побежа Израиль, и яко умре Саул и сынове его, и оставиша грады своя и побегоша: и приидоша иноплеменницы и вселишася в них.
8 And on the morrowe when the Philistims came to spoyle them that were slaine, they found Saul and his sonnes lying in mount Gilboa.
И бысть заутра, и приидоша иноплеменницы совлачати падших корысти, и обретоша Саула и сынов его падших на горе Гелвуи:
9 And when they had stript him, they tooke his head and his armour, and sent them into the land of the Philistims round about, to publish it vnto their idoles, and to the people.
и обнажиша его, и взяша главу его и оружие его, и послаша в землю иноплеменничу, да обносится (и покажется) идолом их и людем:
10 And they layd vp his armour in the house of their god, and set vp his head in the house of Dagon.
оружия же их положиша в капищи бога своего: и главу его поткнуша в капищи Дагонове.
11 When all they of Iabesh Gilead heard all that the Philistims had done to Saul,
И услышаша вси живущии во Иависе Галаадстем вся, яже Филистими сотвориша Саулу и сыном его и Израилю:
12 Then they arose (all the valiant men) and tooke the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sonnes, and brought them to Iabesh, and buryed the bones of them vnder an oke in Iabesh, and fasted seuen dayes.
и восташа от Галаада вси мужие крепцыи, и приидоша и взяша труп Саулов и труп сынов его, и принесоша их во Иавис, и погребоша кости их под дубом во Иависе: и постишася седмь дний.
13 So Saul dyed for his transgression, that he committed against the Lord, euen against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and in that he sought and asked counsel of a familiar spirit,
И умре Саул за беззакония своя, имиже беззаконнова Господеви по словеси Господню, понеже не сохрани, яко вопроси Саул волшебницы еже вопросити, и отвеща ему Самуил пророк.
14 And asked not of the Lord: therefore he slewe him, and turned the kingdome vnto Dauid the sonne of Ishai.
И не взыска Господа Саул: сего ради уби его и возврати царство его Давиду сыну Иессееву.
