1 Chronicles 10
1 Then the Philistims fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled before the Philistims, and fell downe slaine in mount Gilboa.
Nʼoge a ndị Filistia lụsoro ndị Izrel agha, ndị Izrel si nʼihu ha gbaa ọsọ, ma ọtụtụ nʼime ha nwụrụ nʼugwu Gilboa.
2 And the Philistims pursued after Saul and after his sonnes, and the Philistims smote Ionathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua the sonnes of Saul.
Ndị Filistia ji ike chụso Sọl na ụmụ ya. Ha gburu ụmụ ya ndị ikom, Jonatan, Abinadab na Malkishua.
3 And the battel was sore against Saul; and the archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers.
Agha ahụ siri ike nke ukwuu megide Sọl, mgbe ndị na-agba ụta chụkwutere ya ha merụrụ ya ahụ.
4 Then sayde Saul to his armour bearer, Drawe out thy sworde, and thrust me thorowe therewith, lest these vncircumcised come and mocke at me: but his armour bearer would not, for he was sore afraid: therefore Saul tooke the sword and fell vpon it.
Sọl gwara onye na-ebu ngwa agha ya, sị, “Mịpụta mma agha gị, were ya magbuo m ka ndị a a na-ebighị ugwu ghara ịbịa jiri m mee ihe egwuregwu.” Ma onye na-ebu ngwa agha ya ekweghị, nʼihi ọnọdụ oke egwu. Nʼihi ya, Sọl were mma agha nke ya, dakwasị nʼelu ya.
5 And when his armour bearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise vpon the sworde, and dyed.
Mgbe onye na-ebu ihe agha Sọl hụrụ na ọ nwụọla, ya onwe ya dakwasịkwara nʼelu mma agha nke ya, nwụọkwa.
6 So Saul dyed and his three sonnes, and all his house, they dyed together.
Ya mere, Sọl na ụmụ ya ndị ikom atọ nwụrụ, ndị niile si nʼụlọ ya nwụkwara nʼotu mgbe ahụ.
7 And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley, sawe how they fledde, and that Saul and his sonnes were dead, they forsooke their cities, and fled away, and the Philistims came, and dwelt in them.
Mgbe ndị Izrel niile nọ na ndagwurugwu hụrụ na ndị agha agbaala ọsọ, na Sọl na ụmụ ya ndị ikom anwụọla, ha hapụrụ obodo ha niile gbapụ ọsọ. Ndị Filistia bịakwara bichie nʼime ha.
8 And on the morrowe when the Philistims came to spoyle them that were slaine, they found Saul and his sonnes lying in mount Gilboa.
Nʼechi ya, mgbe ndị Filistia bịara iyipụ ndị nwụrụ anwụ ihe ha ga-achịkọrọ, ha hụrụ ozu Sọl na nke ụmụ ya ndị ikom ka ha tọgbọ nʼugwu Gilboa.
9 And when they had stript him, they tooke his head and his armour, and sent them into the land of the Philistims round about, to publish it vnto their idoles, and to the people.
Ha yipụrụ ya ihe niile oyi, buru isi ya na ihe agha ya, zipụkwa ndị ozi gara nʼala ndị Filistia niile ikwusa akụkọ ihe mere nye ndị ha niile na arụsị ha niile.
10 And they layd vp his armour in the house of their god, and set vp his head in the house of Dagon.
Ha tinyere ihe agha ya nʼụlọ chi ha, kwụbakwa okpokoro isi ya nʼụlọ Dagọn.
11 When all they of Iabesh Gilead heard all that the Philistims had done to Saul,
Mgbe ndị Jebesh Gilead niile nụrụ ihe ndị Filistia mere Sọl,
12 Then they arose (all the valiant men) and tooke the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sonnes, and brought them to Iabesh, and buryed the bones of them vnder an oke in Iabesh, and fasted seuen dayes.

13 So Saul dyed for his transgression, that he committed against the Lord, euen against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and in that he sought and asked counsel of a familiar spirit,
Sọl nwụrụ nʼihi ekwesighị ntụkwasị obi ya nye Onyenwe anyị, o debeghị okwu Onyenwe anyị, karịsịa, ọ gara na nke onye na-ajụ mmụọ ọjọọ ase, nʼihi ịjụta ya ase,
14 And asked not of the Lord: therefore he slewe him, and turned the kingdome vnto Dauid the sonne of Ishai.
ma ọ jụghị ase site nʼọnụ Onyenwe anyị. Ọ bụ nke a mere Onyenwe anyị ji gbuo ya, were alaeze ya nyefee Devid nwa Jesi nʼaka.
