< Zechariah 1 >

1 The Lord sent a message to Zechariah the prophet, son of Berekiah, son of Iddo, in the eighth month of the second year of king Darius' reign, saying:
Darius padixaⱨning ikkinqi yili sǝkkizinqi ayda, Pǝrwǝrdigarning sɵzi Iddoning nǝwrisi, Bǝrǝkiyaning oƣli Zǝkǝriya pǝyƣǝmbǝrgǝ kelip mundaⱪ deyildi: —
2 The Lord was very angry with your forefathers.
— «Pǝrwǝrdigar ata-bowiliringlardin intayin ⱪattiⱪ ƣǝzǝplǝndi.
3 So tell the people this: Return to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord Almighty.
Xunga sǝn ularƣa: «Samawi ⱪoxunlarning Sǝrdari bolƣan Pǝrwǝrdigar: — «Mening yenimƣa ⱪaytip kelinglar, Mǝn silǝrning yeninglarƣa ⱪaytip kelimǝn» dǝydu», — degin.
4 You must not be like your forefathers. They were told by previous prophets: Give up your evil ways, and the evil things you do. But they would not listen or pay any attention to me, says the Lord.
— Ata-bowiliringlardǝk bolmanglar; qünki ilgiriki pǝyƣǝmbǝrlǝr ularƣa: «Samawi ⱪoxunlarning Sǝrdari bolƣan Pǝrwǝrdigar: — Rǝzil yolliringlardin, rǝzil ⱪilmixliringlardin yenip towa ⱪilinglar, degǝn», — dǝp jakarliƣan. Biraⱪ ular Manga ⱪulaⱪ salmiƣan, boysunmiƣan, — dǝydu Pǝrwǝrdigar.
5 Where are your forefathers now? And the prophets, did they live forever?
— Silǝrning ata-bowiliringlar ⱨazir ⱪeni? Pǝyƣǝmbǝrlǝr bolsa, mǝnggü yaxamdu?
6 But didn't all my instructions and warnings that I ordered my servants the prophets to communicate, didn't all that I said happen to your forefathers? So they repented and said, “What the Lord Almighty planned to do to us was what we deserved because of our ways and our actions. He did what he said he would.”
Lekin Mening pǝyƣǝmbǝrlǝrgǝ buyruƣan sɵzlirim wǝ bǝlgilimilirim, ata-bowiliringlarning bexiƣimu qüxkǝn ǝmǝsmidi?». Xuning bilǝn ular yolidin yenip: — Samawi ⱪoxunlarning Sǝrdari bolƣan Pǝrwǝrdigar yollirimiz wǝ ⱪilmixlirimiz boyiqǝ bizni ⱪandaⱪ ⱪilimǝn desǝ, xundaⱪ ⱪildi, — degǝn.
7 The Lord sent a message to Zechariah the prophet, son of Berekiah, son of Iddo, on the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month (the month of Shebat) of the second year of king Darius' reign:
Darius padixaⱨning ikkinqi yili, on birinqi ay, yǝni «Xebat eyi»ning yigirmǝ tɵtinqi küni, Pǝrwǝrdigarning kalami Iddoning nǝwrisi, Bǝrǝkiyaning oƣli Zǝkǝriya pǝyƣǝmbǝrgǝ kǝldi. U mundaⱪ bexarǝtni kɵrdi: —
8 During the night I saw a man sitting on a red horse that stood among some myrtle trees in a narrow valley. Behind him were red, brown, and white horses with their riders.
Mǝn keqidǝ [alamǝt kɵrünüxlǝrni] kɵrdüm; mana, toruⱪ atⱪa mingǝn bir adǝmni kɵrdüm; u qongⱪur oymanliⱪtiki hadas dǝrǝhliri arisida turatti; uning kǝynidǝ toruⱪ, ala-taƣil wǝ aⱪ atlar bar idi.
9 I asked him, “My lord, what are these?” The angel I was talking to replied, “I will show you.”
Mǝn uningdin: «Tǝⱪsir, bular nemǝ?» — dǝp soridim. Mǝn bilǝn sɵzlixiwatⱪan pǝrixtǝ manga: «Mǝn sanga bularning nemǝ ikǝnlikini kɵrsitimǝn» — dedi.
10 The man who was there among the myrtle trees said, “These are the ones the Lord has sent out to patrol the earth.”
Hadas dǝrǝhliri arisida turƣan zat jawabǝn: «Bular Pǝrwǝrdigarning yǝr yüzini uyan-buyan kezixkǝ ǝwǝtkǝnliri» — dedi.
11 The riders reported to the angel of the Lord who was among the myrtle trees, “We have been patrolling the earth and saw that the whole earth has been pacified.”
Bu atlar hadas dǝrǝhliri arisida turƣan Pǝrwǝrdigarning Pǝrixtisigǝ jawab ⱪilip: «Biz yǝr yüzidǝ uyan-buyan kezip kǝlduⱪ; mana, pütkül yǝr yüzi tiptinq, aramliⱪta turuwatidu» — dedi.
12 Then the angel of the Lord said, “Lord Almighty, how long will it be before you have mercy on Jerusalem and the cities of Judah which you have been angry with for the past seventy years?”
Pǝrwǝrdigarning Pǝrixtisi jawabǝn: «I samawi ⱪoxunlarning Sǝrdari bolƣan Pǝrwǝrdigar, ⱪaqanƣiqǝ sǝn bu yǝtmix yildin beri aqqiⱪlinip keliwatⱪan Yerusalem wǝ Yǝⱨudaning xǝⱨǝrlirigǝ rǝⱨim ⱪilmaysǝn?» — dedi.
13 So the Lord replied to the angel I was talking to with kind and comforting words.
Pǝrwǝrdigar mǝn bilǝn sɵzlixiwatⱪan pǝrixtigǝ yeⱪimliⱪ sɵzlǝr, tǝsǝlli bǝrgüqi sɵzlǝr bilǝn jawab bǝrdi.
14 Then the angel I was talking with told me, This is what you are to announce. The Lord Almighty says this: I am jealously protective of Jerusalem and Mount Zion,
Xuning bilǝn mǝn bilǝn sɵzlixiwatⱪan pǝrixtǝ manga mundaⱪ dedi: «Sǝn mundaⱪ jakarliƣin: — Samawi ⱪoxunlarning Sǝrdari bolƣan Pǝrwǝrdigar: «Yerusalem wǝ Zionƣa bolƣan otluⱪ muⱨǝbbitimdin yürikim lawildap kɵyidu!
15 and I am extremely angry with the arrogant nations who think they are secure. I was only a little angry with my people, but they made the punishment far worse.
Xuning bilǝn Mǝn ǝrkin-azadiliktǝ yaxawatⱪan ǝllǝrgǝ ⱪattiⱪ ƣǝzǝplinimǝn; qünki Mǝn [hǝlⱪimgǝ] sǝlla ƣǝzǝplinip ⱪoyiwidim, ular ⱨǝddidin exip [hǝlⱪimgǝ] zor azar ⱪildi», dǝydu.
16 Therefore this is what the Lord says: I have returned to be merciful to Jerusalem. My Temple shall be rebuilt there, as well as the city, declares the Lord Almighty.
Xunga Pǝrwǝrdigar mundaⱪ dǝydu: «Mǝn Yerusalemƣa rǝⱨim-xǝpⱪǝtlǝr bilǝn ⱪaytip kǝldim; Mening ɵyüm uning iqidǝ ⱪurulidu» — dǝydu samawi ⱪoxunlarning Sǝrdari bolƣan Pǝrwǝrdigar, — «wǝ Yerusalem üstigǝ «ɵlqǝm tanisi» yǝnǝ tartilidu».
17 Announce this as well, says the Lord Almighty: Prosperity will flood out of my cities. I the Lord will comfort Zion, and Jerusalem will be my chosen city.
— Yǝnǝ mundaⱪ jakarliƣin: «Samawi ⱪoxunlarning Sǝrdari bolƣan Pǝrwǝrdigar mundaⱪ dǝydu: Mening xǝⱨǝrlirim yǝnǝ awatlixidu, Pǝrwǝrdigar yǝnǝ Zionƣa tǝsǝlli beridu wǝ Yerusalemni yǝnǝ talliwalidu».
18 Then I looked and saw four animal horns.
Andin mǝn beximni kɵtürdüm, mana tɵt münggüzni kɵrdüm.
19 “What are these?” I asked the angel I was talking to. “These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem,” he replied.
Mǝn bilǝn sɵzlixiwatⱪan pǝrixtidin: «Bular nemǝ?» dǝp soridim. U manga: «Bu Yǝⱨuda, Israil wǝ Yerusalemni tarⱪitiwǝtkǝn münggüzlǝrdur» — dedi.
20 Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen.
Wǝ Pǝrwǝrdigar manga tɵt ⱨünǝrwǝnni kɵrsǝtti.
21 “What are these men coming to do?” I asked. The angel replied, “The four horns—these nations—scattered Judah, humbling the people so that they could not lift up their heads. These craftsmen have to come to terrify these nations, and to destroy them—those who used their power against the land of Judah, scattering the people.”
Mǝn: «Bu [ⱨünǝrwǝnlǝr] nemǝ ix ⱪilƣili kǝldi?» dǝp soridim. U: «Mana bular bolsa Yǝⱨudadikilǝrni ⱨeqkim ⱪǝddini rusliyalmiƣudǝk dǝrijidǝ tarⱪitiwǝtkǝn münggüzlǝr; biraⱪ bu [ⱨünǝrwǝnlǝr münggüzlǝrni] dǝkkǝ-dükkigǝ qüxürgili, yǝni ǝllǝrning Yǝⱨudaning zeminini tarⱪitiwetix üqün kɵtürgǝn münggüzlirini yǝrgǝ taxliwǝtkili kǝldi!» — dedi.
