< Zechariah 8 >
1 Then the Lord Almighty sent another message to me.
Caempuei BOEIPA ol pai tih,
2 This is what the Lord Almighty says. I am jealously protective of the people of Zion; I am extremely passionate about them.
“Caempuei BOEIPA he ni a thui. Zion hamla ka thatlai. Thatlainah loh len tih kosi khaw dung. Anih hamla ka thatlai,” a ti.
3 This is what the Lord says. I have returned to Zion, and I will live in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the “Faithful City,” and the mountain of the Lord Almighty the “Holy Mountain.”
BOEIPA loh he ni a thui. Zion la ka mael vetih Jerusalem khui ah kho ka sak ni. Te vaengah Jerusalem te oltak khopuei, caempuei BOEIPA kah tlang, hmuencim tlang la a khue ni.
4 This is what the Lord Almighty says. Old people will be able to sit again in the streets of Jerusalem, each with their walking sticks they need because of their age.
Caempuei BOEIPA loh he ni a thui. Jerusalem toltung ah patong neh hamca koep kho a sak ni. Hlang he khohnin cup vetih a kut dongah a conghol a pom ni.
5 The streets will be full of boys and girls playing happily.
Khopuei toltung ah camoe bae vetih a toltung ah hutaca rhoek luem uh ni.
6 This is what the Lord Almighty says. It may seem too good to be true now, to you who remain of my people in these days. But is it impossible for me to do? asks the Lord Almighty.
Caempuei BOEIPA loh he ni a thui. Te khohnin ah tah pilnam meet he a mik ah khobaerhambae om sitoe cakhaw kai mik dongah khobaerhambae om aya? Caempuei BOEIPA kah olphong ni.
7 This is what the Lord Almighty says. I will save my people from the countries to the east and to the west.

9 This is what the Lord Almighty says. Be strong, so that the Temple may be completed. Everyone who is here today is listening to the same words from the prophets who were present on the day when the foundation of the Lord Almighty's Temple was laid.
Caempuei BOEIPA loh he ni a thui. Tonghma rhoek ka dong lamkah he ol he, tahae khohnin kah aka ya rhoek tah na kut moem uh laeh. Te tah bawkim sak hamla, caempuei BOEIPA im a toong khohnin vaengkah coeng ni.
10 Before that time there wasn't enough for people or for animals. No one could live normally because they were not safe from their enemies, and I set everyone against each other.
Te khohnin hmai ah tah hlang kah thapang om pawt tih rhamsa kah thapang a tal pah. Aka voei ham neh aka cet ham khaw ngaimongnah tal coeng. Hlang boeih te ka tueih coeng dongah hlang he a hui taengah rhal la om coeng.

Tedae tahae ah kai he pilnam a meet taengah hnukbuet tue bangla ka om moenih. He tah caempuei BOEIPA kah olphong ni.
12 They will sow in peace; the vine will produce grapes; the soil will grow crops and the heavens will water them. I will make sure this happens to all those who remain of this people.
Rhoepnah misur tii te a thaih cuen vetih khohmuen loh a cangpai a paek ni. Vaan loh a buemtui a paek ni. He boeih he pilnam kah a meet taengah ka pang sak.
13 People of Judah and Israel: just as you were considered a curse among the nations, so I will save you and you will become a blessing. Don't be afraid! Be strong!
Namtom lakli ah rhunkhuennah la na om uh vanbangla, Judah imkhui neh Israel imkhui nang te kan khang van vetih yoethennah la na om ni. Rhih uh boeh, na kut mah caang sakuh.

16 This what you have to do: Tell each other the truth. In your courts judge honestly and truthfully, which makes for peace.

19 This is what the Lord Almighty says: The fasts you observe in the fourth, fifth, seventh, and tenth month will become times of joy and happiness for the people of Judah—they will be festivals of celebration. But love truth and peace.
“Caempuei BOEIPA loh he ni a thui. A pali yaehnah neh a panga yaehnah khaw, a parhih yaehnah neh a parha kah yaehnah khaw, Judah imkhui ham tah omngaihnah ham neh kohoenah la, khoning then la poeh ni. Te dongah oltak neh rhoepnah mah lungnah uh.

23 This is what the Lord Almighty says: At that time ten men from different nations and languages will grab hold of the hem of a Jewish man's robe and plead, “Please take us with you for we have heard that God is with you.”
Caempuei BOEIPA loh he ni a thui. Te khohnin ah tah namtom olka cungkuem lamloh hlang parha te sisuk uh ni. Judah hlang kah hnihmoi ah sisuk uh vetih, “Nangmih taengkah Pathen ka yaak uh dongah nangmih neh cet sih,” a ti ni,” a ti nah.
