Zechariah 6
1 Then I looked again and I saw four chariots coming out from between two mountains that looked like bronze.
E outra vez levantei meus olhos, e vi, e eis que quatro carruagens saíram dentre dois montes, e estes montes eram montes de bronze.
2 The first chariot was pulled by red horses, the second by black horses,
Na primeira carruagem havia cavalos vermelhos, e na segunda carruagem cavalos pretos,
3 the third by white horses, and the fourth by dappled grey horses—all of them strong horses.
E na terceira carruagem cavalos brancos, e na quarto carruagem cavalos malhados. E [os cavalos] eram fortes.
4 “My lord, what are these?” I asked the angel I was talking to.
E perguntei ao anjo que falava comigo: O que é isto, meu senhor?
5 “They are going out to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves to the Lord of all the earth,” the angel explained.
E o anjo me respondeu: Estes são os quatro espíritos dos céus, que saem de onde estavam diante do Senhor de toda a terra.
6 The chariot with the black horses went north, the one with the white horses went west, and the one with the dappled grey horses went south.
A [carruagem] em que estão os cavalos pretos vai para a terra do norte; os brancos vão atrás deles, e os malhados vão para a terra do sul.
7 When the strong horses came out they were eager to set off to patrol the earth. And he said, “Go and patrol the earth!” So they left and patrolled the earth.
E os fortes [cavalos] saíram, e procuraram ir a andarem pela terra. E ele disse: Ide, andai pela terra. E eles andaram pela terra.
8 Then the angel called to me, saying, “Look! Those who went north have achieved what the Lord wanted in the land of the north.”
E ele me chamou, e falou comigo, dizendo: Eis que aqueles que foram para a terra do norte fizeram descansar meu Espírito na terra do norte.
9 Then the Lord gave me another message:
E a palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:
10 Take the gifts brought by Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, the exiles returning from Babylon, and go immediately to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah.
Toma dos que foram levados cativos: Heldai, e de Tobias, e de Jedaías, que voltaram da Babilônia; e naquele mesmo dia vem, e entra na casa de Josias, filho de Sofonias;
11 Use the silver and the gold they brought to make a crown, and place it on the head of Josiah, son of Jehozadak, the high priest.
Toma prata e ouro, e faze coroas, e põe sobre a cabeça do sumo sacerdote Josué, filho de Jeozadaque;
12 Tell him this is what the Lord Almighty says: Look! The man who is called the Branch will grow from where he is and will build the Lord's Temple.
E fala com ele, dizendo: Assim diz o SENHOR dos exércitos: Eis aqui o homem cujo nome é Renovo; ele brotará de seu lugar, e edificará o templo do SENHOR;
13 He is the one who will build the Lord's Temple, and he will be the one given the honor to rule from both the royal throne and the priestly throne and there will be peace and understanding between the two roles.
Ele mesmo edificará o templo do SENHOR, e levará sobre si majestade; e se sentará e dominará em seu trono, e será sacerdote em seu trono; e haverá conselho de paz entre ambos.
14 The crown will be kept in the Temple of the Lord as a memorial to Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Joshua the son of Zephaniah.
E as coroas serão para Helem, Tobias, e Jedaías, e Hem, filho de Sofonias, como memorial no templo do SENHOR.
15 People who live in distant lands will come and build the Temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty sent me to you. This will happen if you listen attentively to what the Lord tells you.
E os que estão longe virão e participarão da construção do templo do SENHOR, e vós sabereis que o SENHOR dos exércitos me enviou a vós. Isto acontecerá se verdadeiramente ouvirdes à voz do SENHOR vosso Deus.
