Zechariah 6
1 Then I looked again and I saw four chariots coming out from between two mountains that looked like bronze.
ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും തല ഉയർത്തിനോക്കി, അതാ, എന്റെമുമ്പിൽ രണ്ടു പർവതങ്ങളുടെ മധ്യത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന നാലു രഥങ്ങൾ. ആ പർവതങ്ങൾ വെള്ളോടുപർവതങ്ങൾ ആയിരുന്നു.
2 The first chariot was pulled by red horses, the second by black horses,
ഒന്നാമത്തെ രഥത്തിനു ചെമന്ന കുതിരകളും രണ്ടാമത്തേതിനു കറുത്ത കുതിരകളും
3 the third by white horses, and the fourth by dappled grey horses—all of them strong horses.
മൂന്നാമത്തേതിനു വെള്ളക്കുതിരകളും നാലാമത്തേതിനു പുള്ളിയും തവിട്ടുനിറവുമുള്ള കുതിരകളെയും പൂട്ടിയിരുന്നു—ഇവയെല്ലാം ബലമേറിയവ ആയിരുന്നു.
4 “My lord, what are these?” I asked the angel I was talking to.
എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതനോടു ഞാൻ ചോദിച്ചു, “എന്റെ യജമാനനേ, ഇവ എന്താകുന്നു?”
5 “They are going out to the four winds of heaven, after presenting themselves to the Lord of all the earth,” the angel explained.
ദൂതൻ എന്നോടു മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു: “സർവഭൂമിയുടെയും കർത്താവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ നിൽക്കുന്നവരും അവിടത്തെ ദൗത്യനിർവഹണത്തിനായി പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോകുന്നവരുമായ സ്വർഗത്തിലെ നാല് ആത്മാക്കളാകുന്നു.
6 The chariot with the black horses went north, the one with the white horses went west, and the one with the dappled grey horses went south.
കറുത്ത കുതിരകളെ പൂട്ടിയിരുന്ന രഥം വടക്കേരാജ്യത്തിലേക്കുപോയി, വെളുത്ത കുതിരകളെ പൂട്ടിയിരുന്ന രഥം പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടുപോയി, പുള്ളിയും തവിട്ടുനിറവുമുള്ള കുതിരകളെ പൂട്ടിയിരുന്ന രഥം തെക്കോട്ടുപോയി.”
7 When the strong horses came out they were eager to set off to patrol the earth. And he said, “Go and patrol the earth!” So they left and patrolled the earth.
ആ ബലമേറിയ കുതിരകൾ പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം അവ ഭൂമിയിലെങ്ങും പോകാൻ ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു. അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ, “ഭൂമിയിലെങ്ങും പോകുവിൻ!” എന്നു കൽപ്പിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അവ ഭൂമിയിലെങ്ങും പോയി.
8 Then the angel called to me, saying, “Look! Those who went north have achieved what the Lord wanted in the land of the north.”
അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ എന്നോടു വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു: “നോക്കുക, വടക്കേദേശത്തേക്കു പോകുന്നവ വടക്കേദേശത്തെ എന്റെ ക്രോധം ശമിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.”
9 Then the Lord gave me another message:
യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്കുണ്ടായി:
10 Take the gifts brought by Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, the exiles returning from Babylon, and go immediately to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah.
“ബാബേലിൽനിന്നു വന്ന ഹെൽദായ്, തോബിയാവ്, യെദായാവ് എന്നീ പ്രവാസികളുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നു വെള്ളിയും സ്വർണവും വാങ്ങുക. അന്നുതന്നെ, സെഫന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യോശിയാവിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പോകണം.
11 Use the silver and the gold they brought to make a crown, and place it on the head of Josiah, son of Jehozadak, the high priest.
വെള്ളിയും സ്വർണവും എടുത്ത് ഒരു കിരീടം ഉണ്ടാക്കി യെഹോസാദാക്കിന്റെ മകൻ യോശുവ എന്ന മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ തലയിൽ വെക്കുക.
12 Tell him this is what the Lord Almighty says: Look! The man who is called the Branch will grow from where he is and will build the Lord's Temple.
അദ്ദേഹത്തോട്, സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറയുക: ‘ശാഖാ എന്നു പേരുള്ള പുരുഷൻ ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്. അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്നു ശാഖകൾ നീട്ടുകയും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം പണിയുകയും ചെയ്യും.
13 He is the one who will build the Lord's Temple, and he will be the one given the honor to rule from both the royal throne and the priestly throne and there will be peace and understanding between the two roles.
അദ്ദേഹംതന്നെയാണ് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം പണിയുന്നത്. അദ്ദേഹം തേജസ്സു ധരിച്ചു തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിലിരുന്ന് ഭരണംനടത്തും. അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഒരു പുരോഹിതൻ ആയിരിക്കും; ഇരുവർക്കുംതമ്മിൽ ഐക്യമുണ്ടാകും.’
14 The crown will be kept in the Temple of the Lord as a memorial to Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Joshua the son of Zephaniah.
ഹേലം, തോബിയാവ്, യെദായാവ്, സെഫന്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ ഹേൻ എന്നിവരുടെ സ്മാരകമായി യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ആ കിരീടം നൽകപ്പെടും.
15 People who live in distant lands will come and build the Temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty sent me to you. This will happen if you listen attentively to what the Lord tells you.
വിദൂരത്തുനിന്നുള്ളവർ വരികയും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം പണിയാൻ സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് അപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും. നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ അനുസരിക്കുമെങ്കിൽ ഇപ്രകാരം സംഭവിക്കും.”
