Zechariah 5
1 I looked again and saw a flying scroll.
Y tornéme, y alcé mis ojos, y miré, y he aquí un volumen que volaba.
2 “What do you see?” asked the angel. “I see a flying scroll,” I replied. “It's thirty feet long and fifteen feet wide.”
Y díjome. ¿Qué ves? Y respondí: Veo un volumen volante de veinte codos de largo, y diez codos en ancho.
3 He told me, “This is the curse that is going out to all the world. Anyone who steals will be purged from society, according to one side of the scroll. Anyone who swears lies under oath will be purged from society, according to the other side of the scroll.”
Y díjome: Esta es la maldición que sale sobre la haz de toda la tierra; porque todo aquel que hurta, (como está de la una parte del volumen ) será destruido; y todo aquel que jura, (como está de la otra parte del volumen ) será destruido.
4 “I have sent the curse out and it will go into the house of the thief and into the house of the one who swears lies in my name, declares the Lord Almighty. The curse will remain in that house, and will destroy it, both the timbers and the stones.”
Yo la sacaré, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos, y vendrá a la casa del ladrón, y a la casa del que jura en mi nombre falsamente; y permanecerá en medio de su casa, y consumirla ha, con sus maderas, y sus piedras.
5 Then the angel I had been talking to came over to me and said, “Look. What do you see moving away?”
Y salió aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo, y díjome: Alza ahora tus ojos, y mira que es esto que sale.
6 “What is it?” I asked. “What you see moving away is a barrel full of the sins of everyone in the country,” he replied.
Y dije: ¿Qué es? Y él dijo: Esta es la medida que sale. Y dijo: Este es el ojo que los mira en toda la tierra.
7 Then the lead lid was lifted from the barrel and there was a woman sitting inside.
Y he aquí que traían un talento de plomo, y una mujer estaba asentada en medio de aquella medida.
8 “She represents wickedness,” he said, and pushed her back inside, forcing the lead lid shut.
Y dijo: Esta es la maldad, y la echó dentro de la medida, y echó la piedra de plomo en su boca.
9 I looked once more and saw two women flying towards me. Their wings looked like those of a stork. They picked up the barrel and flew away, high into the sky.
Y alcé mis ojos, y miré, y he aquí dos mujeres que salían, y traían viento en sus alas, y tenían alas como de cigüeña; y alzaron la medida entre la tierra y los cielos.
10 “Where are they taking it?” I asked the angel I was talking to.
Y dije a aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo: ¿Dónde llevan estas la medida?
11 “They're taking it to the land of Babylon to build a house for it. When the house is ready, the barrel will be placed at its base.”
Y él me respondió: Para que le sea edificada casa en tierra de Sennaar, y será asentada, y puesta allí sobre su asiento.
