< Zechariah 4 >

1 Then the angel I had been talking to returned and got my attention, like waking someone from sleep.
Mgbe ahụ, mmụọ ozi ahụ nke na-agwa m okwu lọghachiri kpọtee m, dịka e si akpọte onye nọ nʼụra.
2 “What do you see?” he asked me. “I see a lampstand made of solid gold with a bowl at its top having seven lamps on it, each with seven lips.
Ọ sịrị m, “Gịnị ka ị na-ahụ?” Asịrị m, “Ana m ahụ ihe ịdọba oriọna e ji ọlaedo mee. O nwere ọkwa nʼisi ya, nweekwa oriọna asaa, nke na-enwu nʼelu ya. Oriọna asaa ndị a nwekwara okporo asaa e si agbanye mmanụ nʼime ha.
3 I also see olive trees, one to the right and one to the left of the bowl.”
Ahụkwara m osisi oliv abụọ nke dị nʼakụkụ ihe ịdọba oriọna ahụ. Otu dị nʼotu akụkụ ya, nke ọzọ, nʼakụkụ nke ọzọ.”
4 Then I asked the angel I was talking to, “What are these, my lord?”
A sịrị m mmụọ ozi ahụ na-ekwuru m okwu, “Nna m ukwu, gịnị ka nke a pụtara?”
5 “Don't you know what these are?” the angel replied. “No, my lord,” I responded.
Mmụọ ozi ahụ na-agwa m okwu sịrị m, “Ị na-ekwu na ị maghị ihe ha bụ?” Azara m sị, “Ee, nna m ukwu, amaghị m.”
6 Then he told me, “This is the Lord's message to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord Almighty.
Ọ sịrị m, “Nke a bụ okwu nke Onyenwe anyị nye Zerubabel. ‘Ọ bụghị site nʼike, maọbụ site nʼume, kama ọ bụ site na Mmụọ m,’ ka Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile kwuru.
7 Even obstacles as big as mountains will be flattened before Zerubbabel. Finally he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘Blessings on it!’”
“Gịnị ka ị bụ, gị ugwu dị ukwuu? Ị ga-aghọ ala dị larịị nʼihu Zerubabel. Mgbe ahụ, ọ ga-awapụta isi nkume ahụ site nʼiti oke mkpu ọṅụ, ‘Amara! Amara dịrị ya!’”
8 Then the Lord gave me another message.
Mgbe ahụ, okwu Onyenwe anyị ruru m ntị sị,
9 Zerubbabel with his own hands laid the foundations for this Temple, and it will be completed the same way. Then you will know the Lord Almighty has sent me.
“Zerubabel wara ntọala ụlọnsọ ukwu a, ọ bụ ya ga-ewuchakwa ya. Mgbe ahụ, ị ga-amata na ọ bụ Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile zitere m ịbịakwute unu.
10 For who dares look down on this time of small beginnings? They will be happy when they see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand. “The seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord which see all over the world.”
“Onye na-eleda ụbọchị ihe nta anya ebe ọ bụ nʼanya asaa nke Onyenwe anyị, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile na-ejegharị na-elezu ụwa dum, ga-aṅụ ọṅụ mgbe ha hụrụ nkume eji atụ mgbidi nʼaka Zerubabel?”
11 Then I asked the angel, “What are the two olive trees that stand to the right and the left of the lampstand?”
Mgbe ahụ, a sịrị m ya, “Gịnị bụ osisi oliv abụọ ahụ dị nʼaka nri na nʼaka ekpe ihe ịdọba oriọna ahụ?”
12 And I also asked him, “What are the two olive branches from which the golden oil pours out from through golden pipes?”
A sịkwara m ya nke ugboro abụọ, “Gịnị bụ alaka osisi oliv abụọ ndị a dị nʼakụkụ okporo ọlaedo abụọ ahụ, nke e si na ha na-awụpụta mmanụ ọlaedo?”
13 “Don't you know?” the angel replied. “No, my lord,” I responded.
Ọ sịrị m, “Ọ pụtara na ị maghị ihe ha bụ?” Asịrị m, “Mba, nna m ukwu.”
14 “These are the two who have been anointed who stand by the Lord of all the earth,” he replied.
Mgbe ahụ, ọ sịrị m, “Ndị a bụ mmadụ abụọ a họpụtara tee mmanụ, ife ya ofufe bụ Onyenwe ụwa niile.”
