< Zechariah 4 >

1 Then the angel I had been talking to returned and got my attention, like waking someone from sleep.
Kenaka mngelo amene amayankhula nane anabwerera nandidzutsa, ngati mmene amadzutsira munthu amene ali mʼtulo.
2 “What do you see?” he asked me. “I see a lampstand made of solid gold with a bowl at its top having seven lamps on it, each with seven lips.
Anandifunsa kuti, “Kodi ukuona chiyani?” Ndinayankha kuti, “Ine ndikuona choyikapo nyale, chonse chagolide ndi mbale pamwamba pake ndi nyale zoyaka zisanu ndi ziwiri, iliyonse ili ndi zibowo zisanu ndi ziwiri zolowetsera zingwe zoyatsira.
3 I also see olive trees, one to the right and one to the left of the bowl.”
Ndiponso pambali pake pali mitengo ya olivi iwiri, umodzi uli kumanja kwa mbaleyo ndipo winawo kumanzere.”
4 Then I asked the angel I was talking to, “What are these, my lord?”
Ndinamufunsa mngelo amene amayankhula nane kuti, “Kodi zimenezi nʼchiyani mbuye wanga?”
5 “Don't you know what these are?” the angel replied. “No, my lord,” I responded.
Iye anandiyankha kuti, “Kodi iwe sukuzidziwa zimenezi?” Ndinayankha kuti, “Ayi mbuye wanga.”
6 Then he told me, “This is the Lord's message to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord Almighty.
Choncho iye anandiwuza kuti, “Mawu a Yehova kwa Zerubabeli ndi awa: ‘Osati mwa nkhondo kapena ndi mphamvu, koma ndi Mzimu wanga,’ akutero Yehova Wamphamvuzonse.
7 Even obstacles as big as mountains will be flattened before Zerubbabel. Finally he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘Blessings on it!’”
“Kodi ndiwe yani, iwe phiri lamphamvu? Pamaso pa Zerubabeli udzasanduka dziko losalala. Pamenepo adzabweretsa mwala wotsiriza. Akamadzawuyika pamwamba anthu adzafuwula kuti, ‘Mulungu adalitse Nyumbayi! Mulungu adalitse Nyumbayi!’”
8 Then the Lord gave me another message.
Ndipo Yehova anayankhulanso nane kuti,
9 Zerubbabel with his own hands laid the foundations for this Temple, and it will be completed the same way. Then you will know the Lord Almighty has sent me.
“Manja a Zerubabeli ndiwo ayika maziko a Nyumbayi; adzatsiriza ndi manja ake omwewo. Pamenepo iwe udzadziwa kuti Yehova Wamphamvuzonse ndiye anakutuma.
10 For who dares look down on this time of small beginnings? They will be happy when they see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand. “The seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord which see all over the world.”
“Ndani wanyoza tsiku la zinthu zazingʼono? Anthu adzasangalala akadzaona chingwe choyezera mʼmanja mwa Zerubabeli. (“Nyale zisanu ndi ziwirizi ndi maso a Yehova, amene amayangʼanayangʼana pa dziko lapansi.”)
11 Then I asked the angel, “What are the two olive trees that stand to the right and the left of the lampstand?”
Kenaka ndinafunsa mngelo uja kuti, “Kodi mitengo ya olivi iwiri ili kumanja ndi kumanzere kwa choyikapo nyalechi ikutanthauza chiyani?”
12 And I also asked him, “What are the two olive branches from which the golden oil pours out from through golden pipes?”
Ndinamufunsanso kuti, “Kodi nthambi ziwiri za mtengo wa olivi zomwe zili pambali pa mipopi yodzera mafuta iwiri yagolide zikutanthauza chiyani?”
13 “Don't you know?” the angel replied. “No, my lord,” I responded.
Iye anandiyankha kuti, “Kodi iwe sukuzidziwa zimenezi?” Ine ndinati, “Ayi mbuye wanga.”
14 “These are the two who have been anointed who stand by the Lord of all the earth,” he replied.
Choncho iye anati, “Amenewa ndi anthu awiri amene adzozedwa kuti atumikire Ambuye pa dziko lonse lapansi.”
