Zechariah 3
1 Then the Lord showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing on his right accusing him.
Et le Seigneur me montra le grand-prêtre Jésus qui était debout devant l’ange du Seigneur, et Satan était à sa droite, afin de s’opposer à lui.
2 And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebukes you Satan. I, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you. Isn't he like a half-burned stick snatched from the fire?”
Et le Seigneur dit à Satan: Que le Seigneur te réprime, ô Satan; et qu’il te réprime, le Seigneur qui a choisi Jérusalem; n’est-ce pas là ce tison retiré du feu?
3 Joshua was wearing filthy clothes as he stood in front of the angel.
Et Jésus était revêtu d’habits sales; et il se tenait devant la face de l’ange,
4 The angel said to those standing there, “Take off his filthy clothes.” Then he said to Joshua, “See how I have taken away your sins from you, and now I am dressing you with fine clothes.”
Qui répondit, et s’adressa à ceux qui se tenaient devant lui, disant: Otez-lui ses vêtements sales. Et il lui dit: Voilà que j’ai ôté de toi ton iniquité, et que je t’ai revêtu d’habits de rechange.
5 Then I said, “Wrap a clean turban around his head.” So they wrapped a clean turban around his head and put the clothes on him while the angel of the Lord stood there.
Et il dit: Posez une tiare propre sur sa tête. Et ils mirent une tiare propre sur sa tête, et le revêtirent d’habits; et l’ange du Seigneur se tenait debout.
6 Then the angel of the Lord solemnly advised Joshua, saying,
Et l’ange du Seigneur faisait cette déclaration à Jésus, disant:
7 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: If you follow my ways and observe my commands, then you will govern my Temple and its courtyards. I will allow you to walk among those standing here.
Voici ce que dit le Seigneur des armées: Si tu marches dans mes voies, et si tu observes ce que j’ai commandé d’observer, toi aussi tu gouverneras ma maison, et tu garderas mes parvis, et je te donnerai, afin qu’ils marchent avec toi, quelques-uns de ceux qui assistent ici.
8 Pay attention, high priest Joshua and all your fellow-priests that you teach! You are a sign of good things to come. Look! I am going to bring my servant, the Branch.
Ecoute, Jésus, grand-prêtre, toi et tes amis qui habitent auprès de toi, parce qu’ils sont les figures de l’avenir: car voici que moi, JE FERAI VENIR MON SERVITEUR ORIENT.
9 See that I have placed a precious stone in front of Joshua, a single stone with seven faces. Watch, for I myself am going to engrave seven eyes on it, declares the Lord Almighty, and I will wipe away the sins of this land in a single day.
Parce que voici la pierre que j’ai mise devant Jésus; sur cette seule pierre sont sept yeux; voici que moi, je la graverai avec le ciseau, dit le Seigneur des armées; et j’ôterai l’iniquité de cette terre en un seul jour.
10 On that day everyone will invite their friends to sit in peace under their vines and fig trees, says the Lord Almighty.”
En ce jour-là, dit le Seigneur des armées, un homme appellera son ami sous une vigne et sous un figuier.
