Zechariah 2
1 Then I looked again and I saw a man with a measuring line in his hand.
अनि मैले माथितिर हेरें र एउटा मानिसले आफ्नो हातमा नाप्ने डोरी लिएको देखें ।
2 “Where are you going?” I asked him. “I'm going to Jerusalem to measure its width and length,” he replied.
मैले भनें, “तपाईं कहाँ जाँदैहुनुहुन्छ?” उहाँले मलाई भन्नुभयो, यरूशलेमलाई नाप्न, त्यसको लमाइ र चौडाइ थाहा गर्न” ।”
3 The angel I was talking to came forward and another angel came to meet him
त्यसपछि मसँग कुरा गरिरहेका स्वर्गदूत त्यहाँबाट गए र अर्को एउटा स्वर्गदूत उनलाई भेट्न निस्के ।
4 and told him, “Run, and tell the young man that Jerusalem will have so many people and farm animals that it will be too big to have walls.”
दोस्रो स्वर्गदूतले उनलाई भने, “दौडेर जाऊ र त्यस जवान मानिसलाई यस्तो भन, ‘यरूशलेमभित्रका मानिसहरू र पशुहरूको ठुलो संख्याको कारण त्यो पर्खालविनाको देश हुनेछ ।
5 The Lord declares, I myself will be a wall of fire all around the city, and I will be the glory inside it.
किनभने म त्यसको वरिपरि आगोको पर्खाल हुनेछु, र त्यसभित्रको महिमा म नै हुनेछु, परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।
6 Run! Run! Run away from the northern land, says the Lord, because I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven.
जाओ, जाओ, उत्तरको देशबाट भाग - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ, किनभने मैले तिमीहरूलाई आकाशका चार बतासझैँ तितर-बितर पारेको छु - परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।
7 Run away, people of Zion! All of you who live in Babylon must escape.
ए बेबिलोनकी छोरीसँग बस्ने हो, जाओ, भागेर सियोनमा जाओ!’”
8 For this is what the Lord Almighty said: Afterwards the glorious Lord sent me against the nations that plundered you—for those who touch you touch the apple of his eye.
किनकि सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले मलाई सम्मानित गर्नुभएर तिमीहरूलाई लुट्ने जातिहरूको विरुद्ध मलाई पठाउनुभएपछि (किनकि जसले तिमीहरूलाई छुन्छ, त्यसले परमेश्वरका आँखाको नानीलाई छुन्छ!) उहाँले भन्नुभयो,
9 I will raise my hand against them and their former slaves will plunder them. Then you will know the Lord Almighty has sent me.
“तिनीहरूमाथि म आफैँ आफ्ना हात टक्टक्याउनेछु, र तिनीहरूका आफ्नै दासहरूले तिनीहरूलाई लुट्नेछन्।” त्यसपछि सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले मलाई पठाउनुभएको हो भन्ने कुरा तिमीहरूले थाहा पाउनेछौ ।
10 Sing in celebration, people of Zion, for I am coming to live with you, declares the Lord.
“सियोनकी छोरी, रमाहटको गीत गाऊ, किनकि म आफैँ नै आएर तिमीहरूका बिचमा वास गर्नेछु!- परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।”
11 Many nations will become believers in Lord on that day, and they shall be my people. I will live among you, and you will know the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.
त्यसपछि त्यस दिन महान् जातिहरू परमप्रभुकहाँ मिल्न आउनेछन् । उहाँ भन्नुहुन्छ, “अनि तिमीहरू मेरा मानिस हुनेछौ, किनकि म तिमीहरूका बिचमा वास गर्नेछु,” र सेनाहरूका परमप्रभुले मलाई पठाउनुभएको हो भन्ने कुरा तिमीहरूले थाहा पाउनेछौ ।
12 The people of Judah will be the Lord's special people in the holy land, and he will once again choose Jerusalem as his special city.
किनकि पवित्र भूमिमा परमप्रभुले यहूदालाई आफ्नो उत्तराधिकारझैँ प्राप्त गर्नुहुनेछ र उहाँले फेरि पनि यरूशलेमलाई आफ्नो निम्ति चुन्नुहुनेछ ।
13 Be silent before the Lord, everyone, for he has risen from the holy place where he lives.
सारा मानिस हो, परमप्रभुको अगि शान्त होओ, किनकि उहाँ आफ्नो पवित्र सहरबाट जागिउठ्नुभएको छ ।
