< Revelation 13 >
1 And the dragon stood on the sea shore. Then I saw a beast rising out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten small crowns on his horns, and had blasphemous names on his heads.
Eno dragoon ah juusih kaang ni chapta. Erah lih adi juusih nawa siithinyakhah esiit dokkhoom wangha rah japtuptang. Herong asih eno hekhoh sinat angta; eno herong rookwet ni luuwang khopok angta, erah damdi hekhoh rookwet ni Rangte kaanju men raangta.
2 The beast I saw looked like a leopard, but his feet looked like those of a bear, and his mouth looked like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority.
Siithinyakhah ah sasaang likhiik angta, helah ah sap lah likhiik, hetui ah angkoleh sakhobung tui likhiik angta. Dragoon ah ih siithinyakhah asuh heteewah chaan, luuwang tongtheng nyia hechaan hephaan thoontang kota.
3 One of his heads seemed to have suffered a death-blow, but this fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder at the beast,
Siithinyakhah khoh esiit ah ma choi angta, enoothong ma ah deechoi angta. Hah ni mathan mina angta erah loong ah paatja rum ano heh lilih ih phanjoh rumta.
4 and they worshiped the dragon because he had given his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, asking “Who is like the beast? Who could defeat him?”
Dragoon ah ih heh chaan ah siithinyakhah asuh kot kano mirep miraang ih phoongpha ano khorongngot rumta. Siithinyakhah ah uh soomtu eh rumta eno li rumta, “Siithinyakhah likhiik o ah? Heh damdoh o jen mui ah?”
5 He was given the ability to make great boasts and speak blasphemies, and he was also given the authority to do this for forty-two months.
Siithinyakhah ah ngaampook ngaamsaang ih Rangte kaanju jengkhaap ah jeng thukta, eno heh suh rookbaji laanyi raangtaan ih chaan kota.
6 As soon as he opened his mouth he spoke blasphemies against God, insulting his character, his sanctuary, and those who live in heaven.
Eno Rangte nyia heh men, adoleh heh maradi tongla hah ah, adoleh rangmong ni o songtongla erah loong ah phang tam rumta.
7 The beast was given power to attack believers and defeat them, and he was also given authority over every people, tribe, language, and nation.
Heh ih Rangte mina loong damdi mui thuk ano jen thukta, eno heh suh jaat apaat rep, deek akaan rep, jengrep kongrep jengla nyia kurep wangrep loong ah pan suh chaan kota.
8 Everybody living on earth will worship him, those whose names had not been written in the book of life—the book of life that belongs to the Lamb slain from the beginning of the world.
Hah ni songtongla miloong ah ih soomtu rum ah, arah mongrep maang dongsiit kaadi roidong ething leedap ni men raangthiin choi nyia etek haat eta Saapsah mina loong luulu ih ba tasoomtu rumka.
9 If you have ears, listen!
“Boichaat an, sen na je anbah ah!
10 Anyone who has to go into captivity will go into captivity; anyone who has to die by the sword will die by the sword. This demonstrates the patient endurance and confidence in God of the believers.
O mina jootsak etheng ah amiimi ih joosak ah, o lang ih tekdok theng ah amiimi ih tekdok ah. Erah langla, Rangte mina loong ah ih enaan etheng nyia laalom laabi eh ang theng.”
11 Then I saw another beast, rising up from the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.
Erah lih adi hah mong nawa dong raaha rah siithinyakhah esiit weetup tang. Heh rong ah saapsah rong likhiik enyi angta, eno heh jeng ah angkoleh dragoon jeng likhiik ih angta.
12 He imposed the same authority as the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and those who live there worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed.
Jaakhoh dowa siithinyakhah chaan aphaan ah heh pandi maakta. Hah ni tongtongla nyia mina loong asuh hema deechoi siithinyakhah ah soomtu thuk rumta.
13 He performed great miracles, even bringing fire down from heaven to earth while people watched.
Erah lih dowa siithinyakhah ah ih paatjaajih loong ah reeraang eta; mirep miraang miksok di heh ih rangmong nawa we kaat thuk taha.
14 He deceived those who live on the earth by the miracles he performed on behalf of the beast, ordering the people that they should make an image for the beast who had received the fatal sword wound but came back to life.
Eno jaakhoh dowa siithinyakhah ah ngathong ni paatjaajih loong ah noisok kano hah ni songtongla mina loong ah mokwaanta. Lih dowa siithinyakhah rah ih jaakhoh ni lang ih maadook arah deeta siithinyakhah ah choomjoot thuk suh heh laaphaang ah hoonthuk eh rumta.
15 He was permitted to breathe life into the image of the beast so that it could speak, ordering anyone who did not worship it put to death.
Eno lih dowa siithinyakhah ah ih jaakhoh dowa siithinyakhah laaphaang ah heh tak ih lun motta, tiimnge liidoh erah heh laaphaang ah miijeng toom e ah nyia o ih lasoomtu ka erah loong ah toom tek haat ah ngeh ah.
16 He made everyone, whether weak or powerful, rich or poor, free or slave, receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads.
Erah siithinyakhah ah ih mirep miraang, ehin elong, changthih changteng, dah nyia dah lah angka loongtang suh neng lak dakmiiko lah angka neng khang ni thoikatkat ih heh sin hoon thuk rumta.
17 Nobody was permitted to buy or sell except those who had the mark, which was the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Erah sin hoonha ah lajeeka bah o ih uh tiim uh tami sangka adoleh riik uh tami reka, erah raangthuk rumha langla siithinyakhah ah men lah angka heh nomboot ang ah.
18 Wisdom is needed here. Whoever has understanding should calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666.
Arah jat suh mongtham eje ang theng. O jatwah jeewah ang ah, erah tiim suh liiha nyia marah siithinyakhah ah erah jat ih an, heh nomboot ah 666 ang ah.
