< Revelation 13 >
1 And the dragon stood on the sea shore. Then I saw a beast rising out of the sea. He had ten horns and seven heads, with ten small crowns on his horns, and had blasphemous names on his heads.
Dawezika abba achchan ace bolla eqqides. Hessafe guye issi do7ay abbafe kezishin beyadis. Izas tamu Kaceyne Laapun hu7ey dee. Kacista bolla tamu dees. Hu7ista bolla casha sunthati deetes.
2 The beast I saw looked like a leopard, but his feet looked like those of a bear, and his mouth looked like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority.
Ta beyida do7azi maaahe milates. Iza toy do7a zardo too milates. Iza duunay qass gaamo duuna milates. Dawezi ba wolqane ba algaza ba godatethaka he do7azas immides.
3 One of his heads seemed to have suffered a death-blow, but this fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder at the beast,
He do7aza hu7istape issa bolla wodhiza madunthi dizayssa ta beyadis shin iza hayqos gathiza madunthazi paxides. Kumetha alamey malaletid he do7aza kaallides.
4 and they worshiped the dragon because he had given his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, asking “Who is like the beast? Who could defeat him?”
He do7azas godatethi imettida gishshi asay wurikka he dawezas goyindes. “Hayssa do7aza milatizay oonee? Izara olettanas danda7izay oonee?” gishe izas goyindes.
5 He was given the ability to make great boasts and speak blasphemies, and he was also given the authority to do this for forty-two months.
Izas qass otoretethine casha qaala hasa7iza duunay imettides. Izi oyddu tammane nam7u agina gakanas godatethan ooothana mala izas imettides.
6 As soon as he opened his mouth he spoke blasphemies against God, insulting his character, his sanctuary, and those who live in heaven.
Xoossune Xoossa sunth izi dizasozane salon dizayta chashe oykides.
7 The beast was given power to attack believers and defeat them, and he was also given authority over every people, tribe, language, and nation.
Izi geeshata olana malane xoonana mala izas godatethi imettides. Duma duma qomotane zarikkista, duma duma qaalan hasa7iza dereta wuriso bolla izas godatethi imettides.
8 Everybody living on earth will worship him, those whose names had not been written in the book of life—the book of life that belongs to the Lamb slain from the beginning of the world.
Alamey medhetosope ha simmin istta sunthi shuketida dorisaza deyo maxaafan xaafetontta alame bolla diza asay wurikka he do7azas hokki goynana.
9 If you have ears, listen!
Haythey diza uray siyo.
10 Anyone who has to go into captivity will go into captivity; anyone who has to die by the sword will die by the sword. This demonstrates the patient endurance and confidence in God of the believers.
“Di7istanas dizadey di7istana. Mashan hayqanas dizady mashan hayqana” hessa gidida gishshi ammanizayta danda7ayne istta ammano koshshizay hanni wodekko.
11 Then I saw another beast, rising up from the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.
Qasseka hara do7ay biittafe kezishin beyadis. Izas qass dorisa kace mala nam7u kacey dees. Izi dawetho hasa7es.
12 He imposed the same authority as the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and those who live there worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed.
Izi kase koyro do7aza olla gelidi he kaseyssa godatethan oothes. Biittayane biitta bolla dizayti wurikka kase koyro do7azas goyinana mala oothides. He do7azi qass kase iza hayqos gathiza madunthay paxida koyro do7azakko.
13 He performed great miracles, even bringing fire down from heaven to earth while people watched.
Hessi nam7antho do7azi qass asa snithan tama salope duge yeggana gakanas gita malatata oothides.
14 He deceived those who live on the earth by the miracles he performed on behalf of the beast, ordering the people that they should make an image for the beast who had received the fatal sword wound but came back to life.
Izi koyro do7aza sinthan malata oothana mala izas imettida malata geedon biitta bolla diza asa izi balethides. Mashshan madunxxidi paxida do7aza bonchos misile oothana mala biitta bolla diza asa wursi izi azazana.
15 He was permitted to breathe life into the image of the beast so that it could speak, ordering anyone who did not worship it put to death.
Nam7antho do7azi koyro do7aza misilezas shempo immana mala izas godatethi imettides. Deyo shempo immanas izas godatethi imettida misilezi hasa7ana malane he izas hoki goynontta ura izi wursika wodhana malakko.
16 He made everyone, whether weak or powerful, rich or poor, free or slave, receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads.
Nam7antho do7azi qass guuthata gidin woykko gitata gidin, durista gidin woykko manqqota gidin, godatra gidin, woykko ashikarata gidin, wurikka ba oshacha kushen woykko ba liipho bolla malata wolqara wothisana.
17 Nobody was permitted to buy or sell except those who had the mark, which was the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Hessa malan he do7aza sunthu erissiza dumma malatay woykko iza sunthi iza bolla xaafetida quxurey bayindadey oonikka giya gelidi shammanassine bayizanas danda7ena.
18 Wisdom is needed here. Whoever has understanding should calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666.
Hessa gishshi asi era gidanay hanninkko. Wozinara diza uray he do7aza quxurezikahayssafe kaalli dizayssakko. Hessika usupun xeistane usupun tammane usupunkko.
