< Psalms 1 >
1 Happy are those who don't follow the advice of the wicked. They refuse to adopt the ways of sinful people, and they don't make fun of others.
Insewowo mwet se su Tia fufahsryesr in pwapa lun mwet koluk, Ku ukwe inkanek lun mwet sutuu, Ku muta inmasrlon mwet su aksruksrukye God.
2 Instead they love to do what the law of the Lord says, and they think about it day and night.
A el engankin ma sap lun LEUM GOD, Ac el nunku kac ke len ac fong.
3 They're like trees growing by flowing rivers, producing fruit every season. Their leaves never wither, and they are successful in all they do.
El ac fah oana soko sak yoki sisken infacl, Su isus fahko la in pacl la, Ac sra kac tiana paola, Ac ma nukewa el oru fah kapkapak.
4 But it's not like that for the wicked! They are like chaff, blown away by the wind.
Mwet koluk elos tia ouinge, A elos oana kulun wheat ma eng uh okla.
5 For this reason the wicked will not survive the judgment—sinners have no place among those who live right.
Ke ma inge mwet koluk elos ac fah tia tu in nununku Ku mwet sutuu in walil lun mwet suwoswos.
6 For the Lord watches over those who follow the right way, but the way of the wicked leads to death.
Tuh LEUM GOD El etu inkanek lun mwet suwoswos, A inkanek lun mwet koluk fah wanginla.
