Psalms 95

1 Come, let's sing for joy to the Lord! Let's shout in triumph to the rock of our salvation!

Прийдіть, заспіваємо радісно Господу, вигукнемо піднесено скелі спасіння нашого.

2 Let's go before him with thanksgiving! Let's sing loudly to him in celebration!

Прийдемо перед обличчя Його з подякою, піснями прославимо Його.

3 For the Lord is a great God, a great king above all gods.

Адже Господь – Бог великий і Цар могутніший від усіх богів.

4 He rules over the depths of the earth and the heights of the mountains.

У руці Його глибини землі, і вершини гір належать Йому;

5 The sea is his, because he made it; the dry land, because he formed it.

море – Його, Він створив його, і суходіл Його руки утворили.

6 Come, let's enter in and worship, let's kneel before the Lord our Creator.

Прийдіть, поклонімося, впадемо долілиць, схилимо коліна перед Господом, Творцем нашим,

7 For he is our God, and we are the people he looks after like a shepherd, the flock he cares for. If you hear his voice calling you today,

бо Він – наш Бог, а ми – народ Його пасовища, вівці, про яких Він піклується. Сьогодні, коли ви почуєте Його голос,

8 don't have a hard-hearted attitude, “as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the desert,

не зачерствійте серцями вашими, як у Мериві, як було того дня у Массі в пустелі,

9 when your forefathers provoked me, testing my patience, even though they had seen everything I'd done.

де спокушали Мене предки ваші, випробовували Мене, хоча й бачили Моє діяння.

10 For forty years I was disgusted with that generation, and I said, ‘They are people who are unfaithful to me in their minds, and they refuse to accept my ways.’

Сорок років дратував Мене цей рід, тоді сказав Я: «Вони народ, що блукає серцем, не знають шляхів Моїх.

11 So in my frustration I vowed, ‘They will certainly not enter my rest.’”

Тому присягнув Я у гніві Моєму: не увійдуть вони до Мого спокою!»
