< Psalms 92 >

1 A psalm. A song for the Sabbath day. How good it is to thank the Lord, to sing praises to you, Most High,
Zabbuli. Oluyimba lwa Ssabbiiti. Kirungi okwebazanga Mukama, n’okuyimba ennyimba n’okutenderezanga erinnya lyo, Ayi Ggwe, Ali Waggulu Ennyo;
2 to tell of your trustworthy love in the morning, and your faithfulness in the night,
okutendanga okwagala kwo okutakoma buli nkya, n’okutendanga obwesigwa bwo buli kiro.
3 to the music of a ten-stringed harp and the melody of a lyre.
Okukutenderezanga n’amaloboozi g’enkoba z’ennanga n’endere awamu n’entongooli.
4 You've made me so happy, Lord, because of all you've done for me! I sing for joy at what you've done!
Kubanga ggwe, Ayi Mukama, onkoledde ebinsanyusizza; kyenva nkuyimbira n’essanyu olw’emirimu gy’emikono gyo.
5 Lord, what you do is amazing; your thoughts are very profound!
Emirimu gyo nga mikulu, Ayi Mukama; ebirowoozo byo nga tebitegeerekeka!
6 Only senseless people and fools don't know and understand this:
Omuntu atalina magezi tamanyi; n’omusirusiru kino tasobola kukitegeera;
7 even though the wicked grow up quickly like grass, and even though people who do evil flourish, they will be destroyed forever!
newaakubadde ng’abakola ebibi baloka ng’omuddo, n’aboonoonyi bonna ne bafuna ebirungi, boolekedde okuzikirira okw’emirembe n’emirembe!
8 But you, Lord, rule on high forever.
Naye ggwe, Ayi Mukama, ogulumizibwa emirembe gyonna.
9 Your enemies, Lord, your enemies will die; everyone who does evil will be destroyed!
Kubanga abalabe bo, Ayi Mukama, abalabe bo balizikirira, abakola ebibi bonna balisaasaanyizibwa.
10 But you have made me as powerful as a wild bull; you have anointed me with the best olive oil.
Naye nze wanfuula wa maanyi okwenkana embogo, n’onfukako amafuta amalungi.
11 My eyes look with pleasure to see my enemies defeated; my ears have heard the downfall of those who tried to attack me.
Amaaso gaalaba bbugwe ng’agwa ku balabe bange; n’amatu gange gawulidde akabi akatuuse ku abo abanjigganya.
12 Those who live right flourish like a palm tree; they grow tall like a cedar tree in Lebanon.
Abatuukirivu balyegolola ng’enkindu, ne bakula ne bawanvuwa ng’emivule gy’e Lebanooni.
13 They are planted in the house of the Lord; they thrive in the courts of our God.
Egisimbibwa mu nnyumba ya Mukama. Baligimukira mu mpya za Katonda waffe.
14 Even when they are old they will still produce fruit, staying fresh and green.
Ne mu bukadde bwabwe balibala ebibala; baliba balamu era abagimu,
15 They will declare, “The Lord does what is right! He is my rock! There is no wrong in him!”
kiryoke kitegeeze nti, Mukama w’amazima, lwe Lwazi lwange era mu ye temuli butali butuukirivu.
