< Psalms 90 >

1 A prayer of Moses, the man of God. Lord, through every generation, you have been “home” for us!
Losambo ya Moyize, moto na Nzambe. Oh Nkolo, ozalaki ekimelo na biso, na bikeke nyonso.
2 Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the universe, from eternity past to eternity future, you are God.
Liboso ete bangomba ezala, liboso ete okela mabele mpe mokili, libela na libela, ozali Nzambe.
3 You turn people back into dust, saying, “Return to dust, human beings.”
Ozongisaka moto na putulu, pamba te oloba: « Bino bato, bozonga na putulu! »
4 In your eyes, a thousand years are like a day that's already gone; like a few passing hours of the night.
Na miso na Yo, mibu nkoto moko ezali lokola mokolo ya lobi oyo esili koleka, lokola ngonga moko ya butu.
5 You bring people's lives to a sudden end, like dreams that vanish. They are like grass that grows up in the morning—
Olekisaka yango lokola pongi ya butu, oyo na tongo, esilaka lokola lititi.
6 it sprouts in the morning, fresh and new, but by the evening it is withered and dead.
Na tongo, ebimisaka fololo mpe etelaka noki; kasi na pokwa, enzulukaka mpe ekawuki.
7 We are burned up by your anger, terrified by your fury.
Kanda na Yo elembisaka biso nzoto, mpe kanda makasi na Yo epesaka biso bobangi.
8 You have set out our sins before you—our secret sins are visible in the light of your presence.
Otiaka masumu na biso liboso na Yo mpe obimisaka na polele makambo oyo tobombaka.
9 Our lives fade away under your anger, coming to an end as quickly as a sigh.
Mikolo nyonso ya bomoi na biso elimwaka mpo na kanda na Yo, mpe mibu na biso esilaka lokola kolela.
10 We live for seventy years—eighty if we have the strength. But even in the prime of life all that we have is hardship and suffering. Soon our lives are over and we're gone.
Molayi ya bomoi na biso ekoki kozala mibu tuku sambo to mibu tuku mwambe mpo na bato oyo baleki makasi; nzokande, etondi na pasi mpe na minyoko, pamba te elekaka noki, mpe tolimwaka.
11 Who can know the power of your anger? Who understands your fury so you can be shown reverence?
Nani ayebi makasi ya kanda na Yo? Moto oyo azalaka na botosi mingi epai na Yo asosolaka malamu kanda makasi na Yo.
12 Teach us to value every one of our days so we can live wisely!
Lakisa biso kotanga malamu mikolo ya bomoi na biso mpo ete tokoma na mitema ya bwanya.
13 Lord, how long will it be before you come back to us and have pity on us your servants?
Yawe, lembisa moke! Kino tango nini ekowumela? Yokela basali na Yo mawa!
14 Show us every morning your trustworthy love so we may be happy, full of joy throughout our lives.
Tongo nyonso, tondisaka biso na bolingo na Yo mpe tokoganga na esengo, mpe tokosepela mikolo nyonso ya bomoi na biso.
15 Make us glad for as many days as you made us sad, for all the years we suffered!
Zongisela biso na mikolo ya esengo, mikolo oyo onyokolaki biso; zongisela biso na mibu ya esengo, mibu oyo tomonaki pasi.
16 May we, your servants, see you at work for us again; may our children see your glory.
Tika ete biso, basali na Yo, tomona misala na Yo; mpe ete bana na biso bamona kongenga makasi ya nkembo na Yo!
17 May our Lord God be pleased with us, blessing what we do, blessing what we do.
Tika ete boboto ya Nkolo, Nzambe na biso, ezala elongo na biso! Mpo na biso, sala ete misala na biso ekende liboso! Iyo, sala ete misala na biso ekende kaka liboso!
