< Psalms 87 >

1 A song. A psalm of the descendants of Korah. The Lord founded the city on his holy mountain.
Abụ Ọma ụmụ Kora. Otu Abụ. Chineke atọọla ntọala ya nʼelu ugwu nsọ ahụ;
2 Jerusalem is the city that the Lord loves more than any other city in Israel.
Onyenwe anyị hụrụ ọnụ ụzọ ama Zayọn nʼanya, karịa ebe obibi niile nke Jekọb.
3 Many wonderful things are said of you, city of God! (Selah)
Ihe dị iche iche nke dị ebube ka a na-ekwu banyere gị, O obodo Chineke; (Sela)
4 I mention Egypt and Babylon as those who know me, and in addition Philistia, Tyre, and Ethiopia—“this man was born there.”
“Aga m agụnye Rehab na Babilọn, dịka ndị na-asọpụrụ m, aga m agụnyekwa ndị Filistia, na ndị Taịa, na ndị Kush, aga m asị, ‘A mụrụ nke a na Zayọn.’”
5 It will be said concerning Jerusalem, “Everyone was born there,” and the Most High will make it secure.
Nʼezie, a ga-ekwu okwu banyere Zayọn sị, “A mụrụ nke a na nke ọzọ nʼime ya, ya onwe ya, bụ Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, ga-eme ka o guzosie ike.”
6 When the Lord registers the nations, he will write, “They were born there.” (Selah)
Onyenwe anyị ga-ede nʼime akwụkwọ usoro nke ndị mmadụ: “A mụrụ onye a na Zayọn.”
7 Singers and dancers alike say, “Living here I am at home.”
Dịka ha na-eti egwu, ha ga-abụ abụ sị, “Isi iyi m niile dị na gị.”
