< Psalms 87 >

1 A song. A psalm of the descendants of Korah. The Lord founded the city on his holy mountain.
Zaburi mar yawuot Kora. Wer. Oseguro mise mare ewi got maler;
2 Jerusalem is the city that the Lord loves more than any other city in Israel.
Jehova Nyasaye ohero rangeye mag Sayun, moloyo kuonde dak duto mag Jakobo.
3 Many wonderful things are said of you, city of God! (Selah)
Ji wacho gik madongo kuomi, yaye dala maduongʼ mar Nyasaye: (Sela)
4 I mention Egypt and Babylon as those who know me, and in addition Philistia, Tyre, and Ethiopia—“this man was born there.”
“Abiro kwano Rahab gi Babulon e kanyakla mar joma ongʼeya, nyaka Filistia bende, kod Turo, kaachiel gi Kush kendo abiro wacho ni, ‘Ngʼatni nonywol ei Sayun.’”
5 It will be said concerning Jerusalem, “Everyone was born there,” and the Most High will make it secure.
Adier, nowachi kuom Sayun niya, “En min ogendini mathoth, kendo Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo owuon biro chunge.”
6 When the Lord registers the nations, he will write, “They were born there.” (Selah)
Jehova Nyasaye biro ndiko e kitabu mindikoe nying ogendini kama: “Jali nonywol ei Sayun.” (Sela)
7 Singers and dancers alike say, “Living here I am at home.”
Sa ma giloso wer to giniwer niya, “Soknina duto ni e iyi.”
