< Psalms 82 >

1 A psalm of Asaph. God stands in the midst of his great assembly to judge among the gods.
Asaf dwom. Onyankopɔn di hene wɔ ɔsoro asafo mu; obu atɛn wɔ “anyame” mu.
2 How long will you make unfair judgments and show favoritism to the wicked? (Selah)
“Wobɛbɔ wɔn a wɔnteɛ ho ban na woayɛ nhwɛanim ama amumɔyɛfo akosi da bɛn?
3 Defend the poor and orphans; support the rights of those who are oppressed and suffering.
Monka mmɔborɔfo ne ayisaa asɛm mma wɔn; mommɔ ahiafo ne wɔn a wɔhyɛ wɔn so yiyedi ho ban.
4 Rescue the poor and those unable to help themselves; save them from the clutches of evil people.
Munnye ɔbrɛfo ne ahiafo; munnye wɔn mfi amumɔyɛfo nsam.
5 They don't have any wisdom; they live in the dark; the foundations of the earth are shaken.
“Anyame no nnim de, na wɔnte hwee ase. Wokyinkyin wɔ sum mu; na asase fapem nyinaa wosow.
6 I say, “You are gods; all of you are children of the Most High.
“Mekae se, ‘Moyɛ “anyame;” mo nyinaa yɛ Ɔsorosoroni no mma.’
7 But you will die like any human being, you will fall like any other leader.”
Nanso mubewuwu sɛ nnipa pɛ; na moahwe ase sɛ ɔsodifo biara.”
8 Stand up, Lord, and judge the earth, for all the nations belong to you.
Ao Onyankopɔn, sɔre, bu wiase atɛn; efisɛ amanaman nyinaa yɛ wo de.
