< Psalms 82 >
1 A psalm of Asaph. God stands in the midst of his great assembly to judge among the gods.
Asaf ƒe ha. Mawu nɔ zi me na takpekpe gã la, eye wòdrɔ̃ ʋɔnu le “mawuwo” dome.
2 How long will you make unfair judgments and show favoritism to the wicked? (Selah)
“Va se ɖe ɣe ka ɣi miaʋli ame baɖa la ta, eye miatso afia ade ame vɔ̃ɖi la dzi?” (Sela)
3 Defend the poor and orphans; support the rights of those who are oppressed and suffering.
“Miʋli ame gblɔewo kple tsyɔ̃eviwo ta, eye miwɔ dɔmenyo na hiãtɔwo kple ame siwo wote ɖe to.
4 Rescue the poor and those unable to help themselves; save them from the clutches of evil people.
Mixɔ na ame gblɔewo kple hiãtɔwo, eye miɖe wo tso ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe asi me.
5 They don't have any wisdom; they live in the dark; the foundations of the earth are shaken.
“Womenya naneke o, womese naneke gɔme o. Wole zɔzɔm le blukɔ me, eye anyigba ƒe agunuwo katã ʋuʋu.
6 I say, “You are gods; all of you are children of the Most High.
“Megblɔ be, ‘Mawuwoe mienye; mi katã mienye Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la ƒe viŋutsuwo’,
7 But you will die like any human being, you will fall like any other leader.”

8 Stand up, Lord, and judge the earth, for all the nations belong to you.
O! Mawu, tso, eye nàdrɔ̃ ʋɔnu anyigba la elabena dukɔwo katã nye wò domenyinu.
