Psalms 82

1 A psalm of Asaph. God stands in the midst of his great assembly to judge among the gods.

Асафов псалом. Бог стои в Божия събор, Седи всред боговете.

2 How long will you make unfair judgments and show favoritism to the wicked? (Selah)

До кога ще съдите несправедливо, И ще лицеприятелствувате към нечестивите? (Села)

3 Defend the poor and orphans; support the rights of those who are oppressed and suffering.

Съдете справедливо сиромаха и сирачето; Отдавайте правото на оскърбения и бедния.

4 Rescue the poor and those unable to help themselves; save them from the clutches of evil people.

Избавяйте сиромаха и немотния, Отървавайте ги от ръката на нечестивите.

5 They don't have any wisdom; they live in the dark; the foundations of the earth are shaken.

Те не знаят нито разбират, Ходят насам натам в тъмнина; Всичките основи на земята се разклащат.

6 I say, “You are gods; all of you are children of the Most High.

Аз рекох: Богове сте вие; Всички сте синове на Всевишния.

7 But you will die like any human being, you will fall like any other leader.”

А при все това вие ще умрете като човеци, И ще паднете като един от князете.

8 Stand up, Lord, and judge the earth, for all the nations belong to you.

Стани, Боже, съди земята; Защото Ти имаш наследство всред всичките народи.
