Psalms 82

1 A psalm of Asaph. God stands in the midst of his great assembly to judge among the gods.

১আসফের গান। তথাকথিত ঈশ্বর ঈশ্বরের মণ্ডলীতে দাঁড়ান, তিনি ঈশ্বরের মধ্যে বিচার করেন।

2 How long will you make unfair judgments and show favoritism to the wicked? (Selah)

২তোমরা আর কতদিন অন্যায় বিচার করবে ও দুষ্টদের মুখাপেক্ষা করবে?

3 Defend the poor and orphans; support the rights of those who are oppressed and suffering.

৩দরিদ্র ও পিতৃহীনদের বিচার কর; দুঃখী ও নিঃস্ব লোকদের প্রতি ন্যায় ব্যবহার কর।

4 Rescue the poor and those unable to help themselves; save them from the clutches of evil people.

৪দরিদ্র ও অভাবগ্রস্তদের রক্ষা কর; দুষ্টদের হাত থেকে তাদের উদ্ধার কর।

5 They don't have any wisdom; they live in the dark; the foundations of the earth are shaken.

৫ওরা জানে না, বোঝে না ওরা অন্ধকারে যাতায়াত করে; পৃথিবীর সমস্ত ভিত্তিমূল কম্পিত হচ্ছে;

6 I say, “You are gods; all of you are children of the Most High.

৬আমি বলেছি, তোমরা সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বর, তোমরা সকলে মহান ঈশ্বরের সন্তান;

7 But you will die like any human being, you will fall like any other leader.”

৭কিন্তু তোমরা মানুষের মত মরবে, একজন শাসনকর্ত্তার মতই মারা যাবে।

8 Stand up, Lord, and judge the earth, for all the nations belong to you.

৮হে ঈশ্বর, ওঠ, পৃথিবীর বিচার কর; কারণ তুমিই সমস্ত জাতিকে অধিকার করবে।
