< Psalms 79 >
1 A psalm of Asaph. God, heathen nations have invaded your land. They have defiled your holy Temple. They have turned Jerusalem into heaps of rubble.
MAIN Kot, men liki kan tan don japwilim omui jojo; irail kajamilela japwilim omui im jaraui, o re wiaki Ierujalem kantakai eu.
2 They have given the dead bodies of your servants as food to the birds of the air, the flesh of your faithful people to the beasts of the earth.
Re ki oner manpir en pan lan akan kalep en japwilim omui ladu kan, o uduk en japwilim omui jaraui kan on man en nan jap akan.
3 They have poured out the blood of Jerusalem's people like water all through the city; no one remains to bury the dead.
Impan Ierujalem irail wudo kila nt’ ar dueta pil, o jota, me pan jarepedi.
4 We have been made a mockery before our neighbors, ridiculed and laughed at by those around us.
Kit wialar kanamenok eu on men imp at, o me kapil kit pena, kin lalaue o kaurur kin kit.
5 How long, Lord? Will you be angry with us forever? Will your jealousy always burn like fire?
Main leowa, arai da kom pan kotin onion, o inon en kupur omui pan lulada dueta kijiniai?
6 Pour out your anger on the heathen nations that don't know you, and on those kingdoms that don't worship you!
Kom kotin wudokidi on men liki kan, me jaja komui, omui onion, o on wei kan, me jota kin likwir on mar omui.
7 For they have destroyed the descendants of Jacob, and turned our country into a wasteland.
Pwe re kawelar Iakop o im ar akan.
8 Don't hold the sins of our forefathers against us! Come to us quickly for we desperately need your compassion.
Kom der kotin tamanda dip en jam at akan; a kom kotin madan jauaja kit, pwe kit me malaulaular.
9 Help us, God of our salvation, because of your wonderful character! Save us and forgive us our sins because that's the kind of person you are!
Main Kot, jauaj pat, kom kotin jauaja kit, pweki wau en mar omui. Kom kotin dore kit ala o kotin maki on kit dip at akan, pweki mar omui!
10 Why should the heathen nations be able to say, “Where is their God?” May they experience your punishment for shedding the blood of your servants, and may we see it.
Da me kom kotin mueid on men liki kan en inda: Ari, ia arail Kot? Kom kotin kajale on men liki kan depuk en ntan japwilim omui ladu kan, me wudokilar, en pil janjal mo at!
11 Listen to the groans of the prisoners; with your great power save those condemned to die.
Kotin mani janejan en me jalidi o; kom kotin kolekol kidi lim omui manaman me kileledier on kamela.
12 Pay each of these neighbors back seven times for the scorn and ridicule they directed against you, Lord.
Kom kotin depukki on men imp at pan pak iju ar lalaue, me re lalaue kin komui.
13 Then we your people, the flock of your pasture, will praise you forever. We will thank you for all generations to come.
A kit, japwilim omui aramaj akan, o jip en japwilim omui moj, pan danke komui kokolata, kapakaparok duen omui linan anjau karoj.
