< Psalms 76 >
1 For the music director. To be accompanied by stringed instruments. A psalm of Asaph. A song. God is famous in Judah; his reputation is great throughout Israel.
Asaf ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Woadzii ɖe kasaŋku ŋu. Wonya Mawu le Yuda, eye eƒe ŋkɔ lolo le Israel.
2 He lives in Jerusalem; his home is in Zion.
Eƒe agbadɔ le Salem, eye eƒe nɔƒe le Zion.
3 There he broke the flaming arrows, the shields, the swords, and the weapons of war. (Selah)
Afi ma wòŋe aŋutrɔ bibiwo, akpoxɔnuwo kple yiwo le, nu siwo nye aʋawɔnuwo. (Sela)
4 You shine with light; you are more majestic than the everlasting mountains.
Keklẽ geɖe ƒo xlã wò, eye nènya kpɔ sãsãsã wu to siwo me adelã le fũu la.
5 Our most courageous enemies have been plundered. They sleep the sleep of death. Even the strongest of them could not raise a hand against us.
Woha kalẽtɔwo, wodɔ woƒe alɔ̃ mamlɛtɔ; aʋawɔla siawo dometɔ ɖeka pɛ hã magate ŋu akɔ eƒe asiwo dzi o.
6 At your command, God of Jacob, both horse and rider fell down dead.
O! Yakob ƒe Mawu, esi nèblu ko la, sɔ kple tasiaɖam siaa tɔ ɖe teƒe ɖeka.
7 You are terrifying—who can stand before you when you are angry?
Wò ko wòle be woavɔ̃. Ame ka ate ŋu anɔ te ɖe nuwò ne èdo dɔmedzoe?
8 From heaven you announced judgment. Everyone on earth was afraid and stood still,
Èɖe gbeƒã wò afiatsotso tso dziƒo, anyigba vɔ̃, eye wòzi ɖoɖoe.
9 when you stood up to judge, to save the oppressed people of the earth. (Selah)
O! Mawu, esi nètso be yeatso afia, aɖe anyigba la ƒe hiãtɔwo la, nu sia nu zi ɖoɖoe. (Sela)
10 Even human anger against you makes you look glorious, for you wear it alike a crown.
Vavã, wò dziku helĩhelĩ ɖe amewo ŋu, he kafukafu vɛ na wò, eye ame siwo tsi agbe le wò dziku la megbe la dze akɔ anyi.
11 Make your promises to God and be sure to keep them. Everyone bring gifts to the awe-inspiring one.
12 For he humbles proud leaders; he terrifies the kings of the earth.
Etsi dziɖulawo ƒe gbɔgbɔ nu; anyigbadzifiawo katã vɔ̃nɛ.
