< Psalms 75 >

1 For the music director. A psalm of Asaph. According to “Do Not Destroy.” A song. We thank you, God, we thank you because you are close beside us. People tell about the wonderful things you have done.
Asaf dwom. Ao Onyankopɔn, yɛda wo ase, yɛda wo ase, ɛfiri sɛ wo Din abɛn; nnipa ka wʼanwanwadeɛ kyerɛ.
2 God says, “When the time I have decided comes, I will judge fairly.
Woka sɛ, “Me na mehyɛɛ ɛberɛ a ɛsɛ no; ɛyɛ me na mebu atɛntenenee.
3 When the earth quakes, and all its inhabitants tremble, I am the one who holds it steady. (Selah)
Sɛ asase ne ɛso nnipa nyinaa woso a, me na mema nʼafadum gyina hɔ pintinn.
4 To those who boast I say, ‘Don't boast!’ I tell the wicked, ‘Don't be proud!’
Meka kyerɛ ahantanfoɔ sɛ, ‘Monnhoahoa mo ho bio,’ na meka kyerɛ amumuyɛfoɔ nso sɛ, ‘Mommma mo mmɛn so.
5 No, don't be proud and arrogant, insulting heaven.”
Mommma mo mmɛn so ntia ɔsoro; mommfa animtiabuo nkasa.’”
6 For no one, from the east to the west, or from the wilderness, should think so highly of themselves.
Obiara mmfiri apueeɛ anaa atɔeɛ anaa ɛserɛ no so a ɔbɛtumi ama obi so.
7 God is the one who decides—who he will bring down and who he will lift up.
Ɛyɛ Onyankopɔn na ɔbu atɛn: Ɔbrɛ ɔbaako ase, na ɔma ɔfoforɔ so.
8 For the Lord has a cup in his hand, full of bubbling wine mixed with spices. He pours it out, and all the wicked drink it deeply, down to the last drop.
Kuruwa bi hyɛ Awurade nsam nsã bi a ɛtwa ahuro a wɔde nnuhwam afra ahyɛ no ma; ɔhwie, na asase so amumuyɛfoɔ nyinaa nom ma ɛka aseɛ puo.
9 But I will speak about you forever. I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
Me deɛ, mɛpae mu aka yei daa daa; mɛto ayɛyi dwom ama Yakob Onyankopɔn.
10 For God says, “I will break the power of the wicked; but I will give my support to those who do what is good.”
Mɛbubu amumuyɛfoɔ nyinaa mmɛn, nanso mɛma ateneneefoɔ ahoɔden foforɔ. Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ. Wɔde sankuo na ɛtoɔ.
