Psalms 75

1 For the music director. A psalm of Asaph. According to “Do Not Destroy.” A song. We thank you, God, we thank you because you are close beside us. People tell about the wonderful things you have done.

В конец, да не растлиши, псалом песни Асафу. Исповемыся Тебе, Боже, исповемыся Тебе и призовем имя Твое: повем вся чудеса Твоя.

2 God says, “When the time I have decided comes, I will judge fairly.

Егда прииму время, Аз правоты возсужду.

3 When the earth quakes, and all its inhabitants tremble, I am the one who holds it steady. (Selah)

Растаяся земля и вси живущии на ней, Аз утвердих столпы ея.

4 To those who boast I say, ‘Don't boast!’ I tell the wicked, ‘Don't be proud!’

Рех беззаконнующым, не беззаконнуйте: и согрешающым, не возносите рога.

5 No, don't be proud and arrogant, insulting heaven.”

Не воздвизайте на высоту рога вашего и не глаголите на Бога неправду:

6 For no one, from the east to the west, or from the wilderness, should think so highly of themselves.

яко ниже от исход, ниже и запад, ниже от пустых гор.

7 God is the one who decides—who he will bring down and who he will lift up.

Яко Бог судия есть: сего смиряет, и сего возносит.

8 For the Lord has a cup in his hand, full of bubbling wine mixed with spices. He pours it out, and all the wicked drink it deeply, down to the last drop.

Яко чаша в руце Господни, вина нерастворена исполнь растворения, и уклони от сея в сию: обаче дрождие его не истощися, испиют вси грешнии земли.

9 But I will speak about you forever. I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

Аз же возрадуюся в век, воспою Богу Иаковлю:

10 For God says, “I will break the power of the wicked; but I will give my support to those who do what is good.”

и вся роги грешных сломлю, и вознесется рог праведнаго.
