Psalms 75

1 For the music director. A psalm of Asaph. According to “Do Not Destroy.” A song. We thank you, God, we thank you because you are close beside us. People tell about the wonderful things you have done.

۱ برای سالار مغنیان بر لاتهلک. مزمور و سرود آساف تو را حمد می‌گوییم! ای خدا تو راحمد می‌گوییم! زیرا نام تو نزدیک است و مردم کارهای عجیب تو را ذکر می‌کنند.

2 God says, “When the time I have decided comes, I will judge fairly.

۲ هنگامی که به زمان معین برسم براستی داوری خواهم کرد.

3 When the earth quakes, and all its inhabitants tremble, I am the one who holds it steady. (Selah)

۳ زمین و جمیع ساکنانش گداخته شده‌اند. من ارکان آن را برقرار نموده‌ام، سلاه.

4 To those who boast I say, ‘Don't boast!’ I tell the wicked, ‘Don't be proud!’

۴ متکبران را گفتم: «فخر مکنید!» و به شریران که «شاخ خود را میفرازید.

5 No, don't be proud and arrogant, insulting heaven.”

۵ شاخهای خود را به بلندی میفرازید. و با گردن کشی سخنان تکبرآمیز مگویید.»

6 For no one, from the east to the west, or from the wilderness, should think so highly of themselves.

۶ زیرا نه از مشرق و نه از مغرب، و نه ازجنوب سرافرازی می‌آید.

7 God is the one who decides—who he will bring down and who he will lift up.

۷ لیکن خدا، داور است. این را به زیر می‌اندازدو آن را سرافراز می‌نماید.

8 For the Lord has a cup in his hand, full of bubbling wine mixed with spices. He pours it out, and all the wicked drink it deeply, down to the last drop.

۸ زیرا در دست خداوند کاسه‌ای است و باده آن پرجوش. ازشراب ممزوج پر است که از آن می‌ریزد. و امادردهایش را جمیع شریران جهان افشرده، خواهند نوشید.

9 But I will speak about you forever. I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

۹ و اما من، تا به ابد ذکر خواهم کرد و برای خدای یعقوب ترنم خواهم نمود.

10 For God says, “I will break the power of the wicked; but I will give my support to those who do what is good.”

۱۰ جمیع شاخهای شریران را خواهم برید و اماشاخهای صالحین برافراشته خواهد شد.
