Psalms 74
1 A psalm (maskil) of Asaph. God, why have you rejected us? Is it forever? Why does your anger burn so hot against the sheep of your own field?
౧ఆసాపు కీర్తన దేవా, నువ్వు మమ్మల్ని శాశ్వతంగా ఎందుకు విడిచిపెట్టావు? నువ్వు మేపే గొర్రెల మీద ఎందుకు కోపగించుకుంటున్నావు?
2 Remember the people you made your own long ago, the tribe you redeemed and made your own. Remember too Mount Zion, the place where you live.
౨నీ వారసత్వంగా కొనుక్కున్న గోత్రాన్ని, నువ్వు అనాది కాలంలో విమోచించిన నీ ప్రజలను జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకో. నీ నివాసమైన ఈ సీయోను పర్వతాన్ని జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకో.
3 Come and walk through the complete devastation. The enemy has totally destroyed your Temple.
౩నీ పరిశుద్ధ స్థలాన్ని శత్రువులు ఎలా పూర్తిగా పాడు చేశారో వచ్చి ఆ శిథిలాలను చూడు.
4 The enemy shouted in triumph right where you met with us. There they set up their war banners as signs of their victory.
౪నీ ప్రత్యక్ష గుడారంలో నీ శత్రువులు గర్జిస్తున్నారు. వారి విజయధ్వజాలను ఎత్తి నిలబెట్టారు.
5 They acted like men chopping down a forest with axes.
౫దట్టమైన గుబురు చెట్ల మీద గొడ్డళ్ళు ఎత్తినట్టు అది కనిపిస్తున్నది.
6 With axes and hammers they smashed in the carved wooden panels.
౬వారు గొడ్డళ్ళు, సుత్తెలు తీసుకుని దాని నగిషీ చెక్కడాలను పూర్తిగా విరగగొట్టారు.
7 Then they set fire to your Temple, burning it to the ground. They defiled the place where you live, the place that bears your name.
౭నీ పరిశుద్ధ స్థలానికి మంట పెట్టారు. నీ నివాసమైన మందిరాన్ని నేలమట్టం చేసి అపవిత్రపరిచారు.
8 They said to themselves, “Let's destroy it all!” So they burned down every place where God was worshiped throughout the land.
౮వాటినన్నిటినీ పూర్తిగా ధ్వంసం చేద్దాం అనుకుంటూ వారు దేశంలోని నీ సమావేశ మందిరాలన్నిటినీ కాల్చివేశారు.
9 We no longer see any signs. There are no prophets left. And no one among us knows how long this will last.
౯దేవుని నుండి మరి ఏ సూచకక్రియలూ మాకు కనబడటం లేదు. ఇంకా ప్రవక్త కూడా ఎవరూ లేరు. ఇలా ఎంతకాలం జరుగుతుందో ఎవరికీ తెలియదు.
10 How long will the enemy ridicule you, God? Will they insult your character forever?
౧౦దేవా, శత్రువులు ఎంతకాలం నిన్ను నిందిస్తారు? శత్రువులు నీ నామాన్ని ఎల్లకాలం దూషిస్తారా?
11 Why do you hold back from doing something? Take action and destroy them!
౧౧నీ హస్తాన్ని, నీ కుడి చేతిని ఎందుకు ముడుచుకుని ఉన్నావు? నీ వస్త్రంలో నుండి దాన్ని తీసి వారిని నాశనం చెయ్యి.
12 But you, God, are our king from long ago. You have saved us many times in the land.
౧౨పురాతన కాలం నుండీ దేవుడు నా రాజుగా ఈ భూమిపై రక్షణ కలిగిస్తూ ఉన్నాడు.
13 You were the one who split apart the sea by your strength; you broke the heads of the sea monsters.
౧౩నీ బలంతో సముద్రాన్ని పాయలుగా చేశావు. నీటిలోని బ్రహ్మాండమైన సముద్ర వికృత జీవుల తలలు చితకగొట్టావు.
14 You were the one who crushed the heads of Leviathan, and you gave its body to the desert animals to eat.
౧౪సముద్ర రాక్షసి తలలను నువ్వు ముక్కలు చేశావు. అరణ్యాల్లో నివసించే వారికి దాన్ని ఆహారంగా ఇచ్చావు.
15 You were the one who made springs and rivers flow with water. You made permanent rivers dry up.
౧౫నీటి ఊటలను, ప్రవాహాలను పుట్టించావు. నిత్యం పారే నదులను ఎండిపోజేశావు.
16 You created the day, and also the night; you made the moon and the sun.
౧౬పగలు నీదే, రాత్రి నీదే. సూర్యచంద్రులను నువ్వే వాటి స్థానాల్లో ఉంచావు.
17 You set the boundaries of the earth; you made summer and winter.
౧౭భూమికి సరిహద్దులు నియమించింది నువ్వే. వేసవికాలం, చలికాలం నువ్వే కలిగించావు.
18 So keep in mind how the enemy ridiculed you, Lord, and how irreverent people insulted your reputation.
౧౮యెహోవా, శత్రువులు నీపైనా బుద్ధిహీనులు నీ నామంపైనా చేసిన దూషణలు నీ మనసుకు తెచ్చుకో.
19 Don't let wild animals kill your turtledoves! Don't abandon your people forever!
౧౯నీ పావురం ప్రాణాన్ని క్రూర మృగానికి అప్పగింపకు. బాధలు పొందే నీ ప్రజలను ఎన్నడూ మరువకు.
20 Remember your promises in the agreement, because the land is full of dark places and violence.
౨౦నీ నిబంధన జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకో. ఎందుకంటే లోకంలో ఉన్న చీకటి స్థలాలన్నీ బలాత్కారంతో నిండిపోయాయి.
21 Don't let those who suffer be mistreated again. Let the poor and needy praise you for you who are.
౨౧పీడితుణ్ణి అవమానంతో మరలనియ్యకు. బాధలు పొందినవారు, దరిద్రులు నీ నామాన్ని స్తుతిస్తారు గాక.
22 Stand up, God, and plead your case. Don't forget how these foolish people insulted you all the time.
౨౨దేవా, లేచి నీ ఘనతను కాపాడుకో. బుద్ధిహీనులు రోజంతా నిన్ను దూషిస్తున్న సంగతి జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకో.
23 Don't ignore what your enemies have said, for their loud accusations against you are getting worse and worse!
౨౩నీ శత్రువుల స్వరాన్ని, నిన్ను ఎడతెగక ఎదిరించేవారి గర్జింపులను మరచిపోవద్దు.
