< Psalms 7 >

1 A psalm (shiggaion) of David, which he sang to the Lord concerning Cush, from the tribe of Benjamin. Lord my God, you are my protection. Save me from those who persecute me; please rescue me!
Ry Iehovà Andrianañahareko, Ihe ro fitsolohako, avotsoro amo mañoridañe ahikoo, le hahao;
2 Otherwise they will tear me apart like a lion, ripping me to pieces with no one to save me.
Tsy mone ho ritaritae’e hoe liona ty fiaiko, hirofodrofota’e tsy amam-pañolotse.
3 If I have done what I'm accused of, if my hands are guilty,
Ry Iehovà Andrianañahareko, naho nanoeko zao: lehe an-tañako ty hatsivokarañe,
4 If I have paid back a friend with evil, if I have robbed my enemy for no reason,
naho vinaleko haratiañe ty rañeko; (hera) nivoloseko tsy amam-poto’e ty nañembets’ ahy;
5 Then let my enemies chase me down; let them trample me in the dust and drag my reputation through the dirt. (Selah)
Le ho hotrohe’ ty rafelahiko, hiambotraha’e; ho lialià’e an-tane ty haveloko, vaho hado’e an-debok’ ao ty engeko. Selà
6 Stand up, Lord, in your anger, rise up against the fury of my enemies; wake up, Lord, and bring me justice!
Miongaha, ry Iehovà, an-kaviñera’o, miavota ty amo fitrotrofiaha’ o rafelahikoo. mivañona ty amako amy zaka kinoi’oy.
7 Bring together the nations before you; rule them from your throne on high.
Hiarikatok’ ama’o ty fivori’ ondatio, vaho mibaliha hifehea’o boak’añ’abo ey.
8 The Lord judges all people. Defend me, Lord, because I do what is right, because of my integrity.
Ry Iehovà Mpizaka o kilakila ‘ndatio; zakao iraho ry Iehovà, ty amy havantañako naho ty havañonako an-trok’ ao.
9 Please bring an end to the evil done by the wicked; vindicate those who do good, for you are the God of right who examines hearts and minds.
Hijihetse ty haratia’ o lo-tserekeo naho hajado’o o vañoñeo, fa mpitsòke arofo naho ova t’i Andrianañahare vantañe.
10 The Most High God is my defense, the one who saves those who live right.
Aman’Añahare ao ty fikalako Ie mpandrombake o vañon-trokeo.
11 God is a fair judge who is always hostile to evil.
Mpizaka to t’i Andrianañahare, Eka, torifike boak’ andro t’i Andrianañahare;
12 If people do not change their minds, he will sharpen his sword. He has bent and strung his bow.
Aa naho tsy mimpoly t’indaty: le ho sioña’e i fibara’ey; fa navoho’e ty fale’e vaho nihajarie’e;
13 He has prepared weapons of death, he has his flaming arrows ready.
Fa nihentseñe’e fialiañe mahafate, ampibelabelae’ afo o ana-pàle’eo.
14 See how the wicked conceive evil! They are pregnant with trouble. They give birth to dishonesty.
Hehe t’ie tsongoen-tsihavokarañe, ie nampiareñe kilily vaho hiterake i remborake;
15 They dig a deep hole to catch people, but then fall into it themselves.
Nihaly kobon-dre naho nampigorabahe’e, vaho tafajorobo amy hinali’ey.
16 The trouble they cause rebounds to hit them on the head; their violence against others comes down on their own skulls.
Toe hibalik’ an-doha’e avao ty fikitroha’e raty, vaho hivotrak’ an-kevo’e eo i nandovia’ey.
17 I will thank the Lord because he does what is right; I will sing praises to the name of the Lord Most High.
Andriañeko t’Iehovà ty amy havantaña’ey, ho bangoeko an-tsabo ty tahina’ Iehovà Andindimoneñe.
