< Psalms 68 >
1 For the music director. A psalm of David. A song. Stand up, God, and scatter your enemies. Let those who hate him run away from him!
Fún adarí orin. Ti Dafidi. Saamu. Orin. Kí Ọlọ́run kí ó dìde, kí àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ̀ kí ó fọ́nká; kí àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ̀ kí ó sá níwájú rẹ̀.
2 Blow them away as if they were smoke; melt them like beeswax in a fire. Let the wicked die in God's presence.
Bí ìjì ti ń fẹ́ èéfín lọ, kí ó fẹ́ wọn lọ; bí ìda ti í yọ́ níwájú iná, kí olùṣe búburú ṣègbé níwájú Ọlọ́run.
3 But those who are right with God are happy, and they celebrate in God's presence, full of joy.
Ṣùgbọ́n kí inú olódodo kí ó dùn kí ó sì kún fún ayọ̀ níwájú Ọlọ́run; kí inú wọn kí ó dùn, kí ó sì kún fún ayọ̀.
4 Sing praises to God! Sing praises to his wonderful reputation! Praise the rider of the clouds—his name is the Lord! Be happy in his presence!
Ẹ kọrin sí Ọlọ́run, ẹ kọrin ìyìn sí i, ẹ la ọ̀nà fún ẹni tí ń rékọjá ní aginjù. Olúwa ni orúkọ rẹ̀, kí ẹ sì máa yọ̀ níwájú rẹ̀.
5 He is a father to the orphans, a protector of widows. This is who God is, who lives in his holy place.
Baba àwọn aláìní baba àti onídàájọ́ àwọn opó ni Ọlọ́run ní ibùgbé rẹ̀ mímọ́
6 God gives those who are abandoned a family to live with. He sets prisoners free with celebration. But those who rebel live in a desert wasteland.
Ọlọ́run gbé aláìlera kalẹ̀ nínú ìdílé, ó darí àwọn ẹlẹ́wọ̀n pẹ̀lú orin, ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ọlọ́tẹ̀ ní ń gbé nínú ilẹ̀ gbígbẹ.
7 God, when you led your people out, when you marched through the desert, (Selah)
Nígbà tí ìwọ bá jáde lónìí níwájú àwọn ènìyàn rẹ, Ọlọ́run, tí ń kọjá lọ láàrín aginjù, (Sela)
8 the earth quaked, and the heavens shook before God, the one of Sinai; before God, the God of Israel.
Ilẹ̀ mì títí, àwọn ọ̀run ń rọ òjò jáde, níwájú Ọlọ́run, ẹni Sinai, níwájú Ọlọ́run, Ọlọ́run Israẹli.
9 You sent plenty of rain to water the promised land; refreshing it when it was dry.
Ìwọ fún wa ní ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ òjò, Ọlọ́run; ìwọ tu ilẹ̀ ìní rẹ̀ lára nígbà tí ó rẹ̀ ẹ́ tan.
10 Your people settled there, and because of your kindness, God, you looked after the poor. (Selah)
Àwọn ènìyàn rẹ tẹ̀dó síbẹ̀ nínú ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ìní rẹ, Ọlọ́run, ìwọ pèsè fún àwọn aláìní.
11 The Lord gives the command, and a great army of women spread the good news.
Olúwa ti pàṣẹ ọ̀rọ̀, púpọ̀ ní ogun àwọn ẹni tí ó ń ròyìn rẹ̀.
12 The kings of the foreign armies are quick to run away, and the women who stayed at home divide the plunder!
“Àwọn ọba àti àwọn ológun yára sálọ; obìnrin tí ó sì jókòó ni ilé ní ń pín ìkógun náà.
13 Why are you staying at home? There are ornaments in the shape of a dove with wings of silver and feathers of fine gold to be taken.
Nígbà tí ẹ̀yin dùbúlẹ̀ láàrín agbo ẹran, nígbà náà ni ẹ̀yin ó dàbí ìyẹ́ àdàbà ti a bò ní fàdákà, àti ìyẹ́ rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú wúrà pupa.”
14 The Almighty scattered the foreign kings like a snowstorm on Mount Zalmon.
Nígbà tí Olódùmarè fọ́n àwọn ọba ká ní ilẹ̀ náà, ó dàbí òjò dídi ní Salmoni.
15 “Mountain of God,” Mount Bashan, with your many high peaks, Mount Bashan,
Òkè Baṣani jẹ́ òkè Ọlọ́run; òkè tí ó ní orí púpọ̀ ni òkè Baṣani.
16 why do you look enviously, mountain with many peaks, at the mountain God chose as his home, where the Lord will live forever?
Kí ló dé tí ẹ̀yin fi ń ṣe ìlara, ẹ̀yin òkè wúwo, òkè tí Ọlọ́run ti fẹ́ láti jẹ ọba níbi tí Olúwa fúnra rẹ̀ yóò máa gbé títí láé?
17 God's chariots can't be counted; there are thousands and thousands of them. He comes among them from Sinai into his Temple.
Ẹgbẹ̀rún mẹ́wàá ni kẹ̀kẹ́ ogun Ọlọ́run ẹgbẹ̀rún lọ́nà ẹgbẹ̀rún; Olúwa ń bẹ láàrín wọn, ní Sinai ni ibi mímọ́ rẹ̀.
18 As you ascended to your high throne you led a procession of prisoners. You received gifts from the people, even from those who had rebelled against the home of the Lord God.
Ìwọ ti gòkè sí ibi gíga ìwọ ti di ìgbèkùn ní ìgbèkùn lọ; ìwọ ti gba ẹ̀bùn fún ènìyàn: nítòótọ́, fún àwọn ọlọ̀tẹ̀ pẹ̀lú, kí Olúwa Ọlọ́run lè máa bá wọn gbé.
19 May the Lord be blessed, for every day he carries our burdens. God is our salvation. (Selah)
Olùbùkún ni Olúwa, Ọlọ́run Olùgbàlà wa, ẹni tí ó ń fi ojoojúmọ́ gba ẹrù wa rù. (Sela)
20 For us, God is a God who saves. The Lord God provides our escape from death.
Ọlọ́run wa jẹ́ Ọlọ́run tó ń gbàlà àti sí Olúwa Olódùmarè ni ó ń gbà wá lọ́wọ́ ikú.
21 But God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy heads of those who continue to sin.
Ṣùgbọ́n Ọlọ́run yóò tẹ orí àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ̀, àti agbárí onírun àwọn tó ń tẹ̀síwájú nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wọn
22 The Lord says, “I will drag them down from Bashan; I will drag them up from the depths of the sea,
Olúwa wí pé, “Èmi ó mú wọn wá láti Baṣani; èmi ó mú wọn wá láti ibú omi Òkun,
23 so that you may walk in their blood. Even your dogs will have their share of your enemies.”
kí ẹsẹ̀ rẹ kí ó le pọ́n ní inú ẹ̀jẹ̀ àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ, àti ahọ́n àwọn ajá rẹ ní ìpín tiwọn lára àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ.”
24 People watch your processions, God—the processions of my God and King as they go into the Temple.
Wọ́n ti rí ìrìn rẹ, Ọlọ́run, ìrìn Ọlọ́run mi àti ọba mi ní ibi mímọ́ rẹ̀.
25 The singers are at the front, the musicians at the back, and in the middle girls playing tambourines.
Àwọn akọrin wà ní iwájú, àwọn olórin wà lẹ́yìn; àwọn ọmọbìnrin tí ń lu ṣaworo sì wà pẹ̀lú wọn.
26 Praise God, everyone who has come to worship; praise the Lord, everyone who belongs to Israel.
Ẹ fi ìyìn fún Olúwa ní ẹgbẹgbẹ́; àní fún Olúwa ẹ̀yin tí ó ti orísun Israẹli wá.
27 There is the little tribe of Benjamin, followed by the many leaders from Judah; then come the leaders of Zebulun and Naphtali.
Níbẹ̀ ní ẹ̀yà kékeré Benjamini wà, tí ó ń darí wọn, níbẹ̀ ni àwọn ọmọ-aládé Juda, níbẹ̀ ni àwọn ọmọ-aládé Sebuluni àti tí Naftali.
28 Display your power, God! Reveal your strength, Lord, as you have done for us in the past.
Pàṣẹ agbára rẹ, Ọlọ́run; fi agbára rẹ hàn wá, Ọlọ́run, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìwọ ti ṣe ní ìṣáájú.
29 Because of your Temple in Jerusalem, kings bring tribute to you.
Nítorí tẹmpili rẹ ni Jerusalẹmu àwọn ọba yóò mú ẹ̀bùn wá fún ọ.
30 Condemn the beasts of the reeds, the bulls and calves! May they be humbled and bring bars of silver in tribute! Scatter the war-loving nations!
Bá àwọn ẹranko búburú wí, tí ń gbé láàrín eèsún ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ àwọn akọ màlúù pẹ̀lú àwọn ọmọ màlúù títí olúkúlùkù yóò fi foríbalẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìwọ̀n fàdákà: tú àwọn ènìyàn tí ń ṣe inú dídùn sí ogun ká.
31 Let Egypt come with bronze gifts; let Ethiopia come quickly and hand over their tributes to God!
Àwọn ọmọ-aládé yóò wá láti Ejibiti; Etiopia yóò na ọwọ́ rẹ̀ sí Ọlọ́run.
32 Sing to God, kingdoms of the earth, sing praises to the Lord. (Selah)
Kọrin sí Ọlọ́run, ẹ̀yin ìjọba ayé, kọrin ìyìn sí Olúwa, (Sela)
33 Sing to the rider of the ancient heavens, his strong voice sounding like thunder!
Sí ẹni tí ń gun ọ̀run dé ọ̀run àtijọ́ lókè, tó ń fọhùn rẹ̀, ohùn ńlá.
34 Let everyone know of God's power: how his majesty extends over Israel, how his strength is revealed in the heavens.
Kéde agbára Ọlọ́run, ọláńlá rẹ̀ wà lórí Israẹli, tí agbára rẹ̀ wà lójú ọ̀run.
35 How awesome is God in his Temple! The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people! Praise God!
Ìwọ ní ẹ̀rù, Ọlọ́run, ní ibi mímọ́ rẹ; Ọlọ́run Israẹli fi agbára àti okun fún àwọn ènìyàn rẹ. Olùbùkún ní Ọlọ́run!
