< Psalms 63 >

1 A psalm of David, when he was in the Judean desert. God, you are my God, I eagerly look for you. I am thirsty for you; all that I am longs for you in this dry, weary, waterless land.
Nzembo ya Davidi. Ayembaki yango tango azalaki kati na esobe ya Yuda. Oh Nzambe, ozali Nzambe na ngai; nazali koluka Yo, molimo na ngai ezali na posa na Yo, bomoi na ngai ezali na posa na Yo makasi, kati na mabele ekawuka mpe ezanga mayi.
2 I see you in the Temple; I watch your power and glory.
Natalaki Yo kati na Esika ya bule mpo na komona makasi mpe nkembo na Yo.
3 Your trustworthy love is better than life itself; I will praise you.
Pamba te bolingo na Yo ezali malamu koleka bomoi, bibebu na ngai ekosanzola Yo.
4 I will thank you as long as I live; I lift up my hands as I celebrate your wonderful character.
Boye, nakopambola Yo bomoi na ngai mobimba, nakotombola maboko na ngai mpo na lokumu ya Kombo na Yo.
5 You satisfy me more than the richest food; I will praise you with joyful songs.
Nakotonda lokola moto oyo asili kolia misuni kitoko mpe mafuta; bibebu na ngai ekoganga na esengo mpe monoko na ngai ekokumisa Yo.
6 I think of you all night long as I lie on my bed meditating about you.
Soki nakanisi Yo na mbeto na ngai, nasambelaka Yo na butu;
7 For you are the one who helps me; I sing happily from under your wings.
pamba te ozali lisungi mpo na ngai, mpe nagangaka na esengo wana nazali na se ya elili ya mapapu na Yo.
8 I hold on to you; your strong arms lift me up.
Nakangami na Yo; loboko na Yo ya mobali esimbi ngai makasi.
9 Those who are trying to destroy me will go down into the grave.
Bato oyo balukaka koboma ngai bakozinda na mabele
10 They will be killed by the sword; they will become food for jackals.
Bakoboma bango na mopanga mpe bakokoma bilei ya bambwa ya zamba.
11 But the king will be happy for what God has done. All who follow God will praise him, but those who tell lies will be silenced.
Kasi mokonzi akosepela kati na Nzambe; moto nyonso oyo alapaka ndayi na Kombo ya Nzambe akomikumisa mpo na yango, pamba te minoko ya bakosi ekokangama.
