< Psalms 48 >
1 For the music director. A psalm of the sons of Korah. The Lord is supreme! He deserves praise in the city of our God on his holy mountain.
Yahweh Pakai hi iti loupia hitam, ichangei a pachat dinga lom hitam, i Pathen'u Elohim chu akhopia acheng'in alhangtheng'a atou in ahi!
2 Mount Zion is high and beautiful, bringing happiness to all the earth; on the northern side is the city of the great King.
Hichehi asang'in ahoilamdang'e. Leiset pumpi'n mu ding atup un athanom cheh ui. Lhangtheng Zion molhoi hi leng thupipa chenna khopi ahi!
3 God himself is in the city's fortresses; he is recognized as its defender.
Elohim Pathen amatah chu Jerusalem indan sung'a chun acheng'in ahi Amatah hi avengbit'a pang ahi akilang doh e.
4 Look at what happened when foreign kings joined forces and came to attack the city.
Vannoi mite lengho akigom'un hiche khopi dounan ahin nokhum'un ahi.
5 As soon as they saw it they were astonished and ran away terrified.
Ahinla amahon amuchet phat'un atangchot jeng'un atijauvin ajammang gamtauve.
6 They shook all over, and were in agonizing pain like a woman giving birth,
Amaho chu tijatnan numei naonei hon hahsatna atobang'in akithingleu jeng'un ahi.
7 just as the strong east wind wrecks the ships from Tarshish.
Ahin nang'in Tarshishte kong thupitah ho solam huijin asuhset bang'in nasuse tan ahi.
8 Just as we had heard, but now we have seen the city of the Lord Almighty. This is the city of our God; he makes it secure forever. (Selah)

9 God, we recall your trustworthy love as we worship in the Temple.
O Elohim Pathen, na houin theng sunga nangma kavahchoi lai un nami ngailut na longlou chu kagel jing ui.
10 As is fitting for your reputation, God, praises to you stretch all around the world. What you do is always right!
O Elohim Pathen namin ja dia kilom tah ahibang in leiset kolmong geija vahchoiya naum ding ahi. Najet lam ban thahat chu galjona a dimset ahi.
11 Let the people of Mount Zion be glad; let the people of Judah celebrate because your judgments are always fair!
Zion mol'a mipiho kipah uhen. Judah khopiho nathutan dihjeh hin kipah uhen.
12 Go and take a look at Zion. Count the towers as you walk around.
Vo Elohim Pathen mite cheuvin Zion khopi gakholchen'un akimvel'a kijot uvin ainsangho jong gasim'un.
13 Inspect the fortifications. Examine the citadels, so you can describe everything to the next generation, telling them:
Akhopi jouse jong gachon uvin lang akulpi bang nasa tah ho jong melchih'un, chule nang hon nason nachilhah teu naseipeh thei diu ahi.
14 “This is who our God is. He is our God forever and ever. He himself will lead us until the very end.”
