< Psalms 45 >

1 For the music director. To the tune “Lilies.” A psalm (maskil) of the sons of Korah. A love song. I am moved to write about this wonderful subject. Let me share what I have written for the king. What I say comes from the pen of a skilled author.
Kwa mtsogoleri wamayimbidwe. Monga mwa mayimbidwe a “Maluwa a Kakombo.” Salimo la ana a Kora. Nyimbo ya pa ukwati. Mtima wanga watakasika ndi nkhani yokoma pamene ndikulakatula mawu anga kwa mfumu; lilime langa ndi cholembera cha wolemba waluso.
2 You are more handsome than anyone else. You always speak graciously, for God has blessed you forever.
Inu ndinu abwino kwambiri kuposa anthu onse ndipo milomo yanu inadzozedwa ndi chikondi cha Mulungu chosasinthika, popeza Mulungu wakudalitsani kwamuyaya.
3 Strap on your sword, mighty warrior, stride out in glory and majesty!
Mangirirani lupanga lanu mʼchiwuno mwanu, inu munthu wamphamvu; mudziveke nokha ndi ulemerero ndi ukulu wanu.
4 In your majesty ride out to victory, in the defense of truth, humility, and right, because you are strong and act powerfully.
Mu ukulu wanu mupite mutakwera mwachigonjetso mʼmalo mwa choonadi, kudzichepetsa ndi chilungamo; dzanja lanu lamanja lionetsere ntchito zanu zoopsa.
5 Your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of your enemies; the nations fall under you.
Mivi yanu yakuthwa ilase mitima ya adani a mfumu, mitundu ya anthu igwe pansi pa mapazi anu.
6 Your throne comes from God, and lasts forever and ever. The scepter with which you rule is a scepter of fairness.
Mpando wanu waufumu, Inu Mulungu, udzakhala ku nthawi za nthawi; ndodo yaufumu yachilungamo idzakhala ndodo yaufumu ya ufumu wanu.
7 You love what is right and hate what is wrong. That is why God, your God, has placed you above everyone else by anointing you with the oil of joy.
Inu mumakonda chilungamo ndi kudana ndi zoyipa; choncho Mulungu, Mulungu wanu, wakukhazikani pamwamba pa anzanu pokudzozani ndi mafuta a chimwemwe.
8 Your robes are perfumed with aloes, myrrh, and cassia; music played on stringed instruments in palaces decorated with ivory makes you happy.
Mikanjo yanu yonse ndi yonunkhira ndi mure ndi aloe ndi kasiya; kuchokera ku nyumba zaufumu zokongoletsedwa ndi mnyanga wanjovu nyimbo za zoyimbira zazingwe zimakusangalatsani.
9 The daughters of kings are among the noblewomen; the queen stands beside you on your right, wearing jewelry made of gold from Ophir.
Ana aakazi a mafumu ali pakati pa akazi anu olemekezeka; ku dzanja lanu lamanja kuli mkwatibwi waufumu ali mu golide wa ku Ofiri.
10 Listen to what I have to say, daughter; please pay attention. Don't pine for your people and your family.
Tamvera, iwe mwana wa mkazi ganizira ndipo tchera khutu; iwala anthu ako ndi nyumba ya abambo ako.
11 May the king desire you in your beauty; respect him, for he is your lord.
Mfumu yathedwa nzeru chifukwa cha kukongola kwako; mulemekeze pakuti iyeyo ndiye mbuye wako.
12 The people of Tyre will come with gifts; rich people will look for your favor.
Mwana wa mkazi wa ku Turo adzabwera ndi mphatso, amuna a chuma adzafunafuna kukoma mtima kwako.
13 Inside her preparation room the princess bride looks wonderful in her golden gown.
Wokongola kwambiri ndi mwana wa mfumu ali mʼchipinda mwake, chovala chake ndi cholukidwa ndi thonje ndi golide.
14 Wearing her beautiful clothes she is brought to the king, followed by her bridesmaids.
