Psalms 44
1 For the music director. A psalm (maskil) of the sons of Korah. God, we have heard with our own ears—our forefathers have told us—all you did in their times, long ago.
हे परमेश्वर, हामीले हाम्रो कानले सुनेका छौं, हाम्रा पुर्खाहरूका समयमा, प्राचीन दिनहरूमा जे काम तपाईंले गर्नुभयो ति तिनीहरूले हामीलाई भनेका छन् ।
2 Through your power you drove out the other nations so you could settle our ancestors there; you defeated the nations and you sent our ancestors to occupy the land.
तपाईंले जातिहरूलाई आफ्नै हातले लखेट्नुभयो, तर तपाईंले हाम्रा मानिसहरूलाई बसाल्नुभयो । तपाईंले मानिसहरूलाई कष्ट दिनुभयो तर तपाईंले देशमा हाम्रा मानिसहरूलाई फैलाउनुभयो ।
3 They did not conquer the land using their swords; it was not through their own strength that the victory was won—it was by your strength, your power, and your presence with them, because you loved them.
किनकि तिनीहरूले आफ्नो लागि देश अधिकार गर्नलाई आफ्नै तरवारले प्राप्त गरेनन्, न त तिनीहरूको आफ्नै पाखुराले तिनीहरूलाई बचाए । तर तपाईंको दाहिने हात, तपाईंको पाखुरा र तपाईंको मुहारको ज्योतिले बचायो, किनभने उनीहरूप्रति तपाईं कृपालु हुनुहुन्थ्यो ।
4 God, you are my King; command victories for Jacob!
हे परमेश्वर, तपाईं मेरो राजा हुनुहुन्छ । याकूबको निम्ति विजय दिनुहोस् ।
5 Only through you can we repel our enemies; only in your name can we defeat our opponents.
तपाईंद्वारा नै हामी आफ्ना शत्रुहरूलाई धकेल्नेछौं । हाम्रा विरुद्ध खडा हुनेहरूलाई तपाईंको नाउँद्वारा नै हामी कुल्चनेछौं ।
6 I do not trust my bow; I do not have confidence in my sword to save me.
किनकि म आफ्नो धनुमा भरोसा गर्नेछैनँ, न त मलाई मेरो तरवारले बचाउनेछ ।
7 You are the one who saves us from our enemies; you defeat those who hate us.
तर हाम्रो शत्रहरूबाट तपाईंले हामीलाई बाचउनुभएको छ र हामीलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूलाई लाजमा पार्नुभएको छ ।
8 God, we proudly thank you all day long, and praise your name forever. (Selah)
दिनभरि हामीले परमेश्वरमा नै गर्व गरेका छौं र तपाईंको नाउँलाई नै हामी सदासर्वदा धन्यवाद दिनेछौं । सेला
9 But now you have rejected and disgraced us; you no longer accompany our armies.
तर अहिले तपाईंले हामीलाई फाल्नुभएको र हामीमाथि अनादर ल्याउनुभएको छ, र हाम्रा फौजसँग तपाईं जानुहुन्न ।
10 You made us run from our enemies, and those who hate us have taken whatever they wanted.
तपाईंले हामीलाई शत्रुबाट फर्काउनुहुन्छ । अनि हामीलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूले आफ्नो निम्ति लूट्न्छन् ।
11 You have handed us over like sheep to be slaughtered; you have scattered us among the other nations.
तपाईंले हामीलाई मार्न लगिएका भेडाझैं बनाउनुभएको छ र हामीलाई जातिहरूका माझमा तितरबितर पार्नुभएको छ ।
12 You have sold your own people for next to nothing, making no profit on the sale.
तपाईंले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई सित्तैंमा बेच्नुभएको छ, यसो गरेर तपाईंले आफ्नो सम्पत्ति वृद्धि गर्नुभएको छैन ।
13 You have made a mockery of us before our neighbors, we are ridiculed and laughed at by those around us.
तपाईंले हामीलाई हाम्रो छिमेकीहरूको हप्की बनाउनुन्छ, हाम्रा वरिपरिकाहरूले गिल्ला र खिसी गरे ।
14 You have made us a joke to the other nations; they scornfully shake their heads at us.
तपाईंले हामीलाई जातिहरूका माझमा अपमान, मानिसहरूले घृणाले शिर हल्लाउने बनाउनुहुन्छ ।
15 We are humiliated all day long; we hold our heads in shame,
दिनभरि मेरि अनादर मेरो सामु हुन्छ र मेरो मुहारको लाजले मलाई ढाकेको छ,
16 because of all the insults from the people mocking us, because our vengeful enemies are right in front of us.
हप्काउने र अपमान गर्ने सोरको कारणले, शत्रुहरू र बदला लिनेहरूको कारणले ।
17 All this has happened to us even though we didn't forget you; we haven't been unfaithful to the promises we made to you.
यी सबै कुरा हामीमा हुन आएका छन् । तापनि हामीले तपाईंलाई बिर्सेका वा तपाईंको करारसँग झुटो किसिमले व्यवहार गरेका छैनौं ।
18 We have not turned away from you, not in thought, nor in action.
हाम्रो हृदय बरालिएको छैन । हाम्रा कदमहरू तपाईको मार्गबाट भड्किएका छैनन् ।
19 Even so, you crushed us, and made us into a jackal's den. You have covered us with the darkness of death.
तापनि तपाईंले हामीलाई गम्भिर रूपले नष्ट पारेर स्यालहरूका ठाउँ बनाउनुभएको छ र हामीलाई मृत्युको छायाले ढाक्नुभएको छ ।
20 If we had forgotten the name of our God, or worshiped other gods,
हामीले आफ्नो परमेश्वरको नाउँ बिर्सेका वा हाम्रा हातहरू विदेशी देवताहरूतिर फैलाएका छौं भने,
21 wouldn't God have been aware of this, because he knows everyone's thoughts?
के परमेश्वर यो कुरा खोजी गर्नुहुन्नथ्यो र? किनकि हृदयका गोप्यताहरू उहाँले जान्नुहुन्छ ।
22 But because of you we are killed all day long; we're considered just sheep to be slaughtered.
वस्तवमा, तपाईंकै खातिर हामी दिनभरि मारिंदैछौं । मार्न लगिएका भेडाहरूझै हामी ठानिएका छौं ।
23 Lord, wake up! Why are you sleeping? Get up! Don't turn your back on us forever!
हे परमप्रभु, जाग्नुहोस्, तपाईं किन सुत्नुहुन्छ? उठ्नुहोस्, हामीलाई स्थायी रूपमा नफाल्नुहोस् ।
24 Why do you look away from us and take no notice of our suffering and misery?
तपाईंले किन आफ्नो मुहार लुकाउनुहुन्छ र हाम्रा कष्ट र हाम्रा अत्याचारलाई बिर्सनुहुन्छ?
25 We lie ruined in the dust, our bodies face down in the dirt.
किनकि हामी पग्लेर धूलोमा मिलेका छौं । हाम्रा शरीरहरू भूइँमा टाँसिन्छन् ।
26 Stand up! Come and help us! Save us because of your trustworthy love!
हाम्रो सहायताको निम्ति उठ्नुहोस् र आफ्नो करारको विश्वस्तताको निम्ति हाम्रो उद्धार गर्नुहोस् ।
