Psalms 43

1 God, please vindicate me! Plead my case against an unfaithful nation; save me from these wicked and dishonest people.

Berilah keadilan kepadaku, ya Allah, belalah hakku terhadap bangsa yang durhaka. Bebaskanlah aku dari penjahat dan penipu.

2 For you, God, are my protection—so why have you turned your back on me? Why must I go around weeping because of the attacks of my enemies?

Engkaulah Allah, pelindungku; mengapa Engkau meninggalkan aku? Mengapa aku harus terus menderita karena ditindas oleh musuh-musuhku?

3 Send your light and your truth so they can guide me; let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live.

Nyatakanlah kesetiaan-Mu untuk menyinari dan membimbing aku, agar aku kembali ke Sion, bukit-Mu yang suci dan ke Rumah kediaman-Mu.

4 I will go to God's altar, to God who makes me truly happy. I will praise you on the harp, God, my God.

Maka aku akan menuju ke mezbah Allah, menghadap Allah sumber kebahagiaanku. Aku akan menyanyi dan main kecapi, untuk memuji-Mu, ya Allah, Allahku.

5 Why am I so discouraged? Why do I feel so sad? I will hope in God; I will praise him because he is the one who saves me—my God!

Mengapa hatiku sedih dan gelisah? Aku berharap kepada Allah, maka aku akan bersyukur lagi kepada-Nya, kepada Allahku dan penyelamatku.
