< Psalms 36 >
1 For the music director. A psalm of David, servant of the Lord. Evil speaks to the wicked, deep down in their minds, for in their eyes they have no need to respect God.
Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi jatich Jehova Nyasaye. An-gi wach e chunya mowuok kuom Nyasaye, kuom gima joricho timo: Ok giluoro Nyasaye kata matin.
2 In their own eyes they're so wonderful that they can't even see their sin and do something about it.
Nikech chunye wuonde kendo owuondore kende, chunye wuonde ma ok onyal neno richone mosin-go.
3 Whatever they say is deceptive and deceitful. They no longer do anything wisely or for good.
Weche mawuok e dhoge richo kendo gin miriambo; oseweyo bedo mariek kod timo maber.
4 Even when they're lying in bed they think up evil schemes. They commit themselves to a way of life that is no good. They choose evil, and don't reject it.
Kata konindo e kitandane, to ochano timo gima rach; oseketo chunye mar luwo yor richo, kendo ok otamre gima rach.
5 Lord, your faithful love reaches to the heavens, your trustworthiness to the clouds.
Herani ochopo nyaka e polo malo, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; adierani chopo nyaka e polo,
6 Your goodness is like the highest mountains, your fairness is like the deepest oceans. Lord, you save both the people and the animals.
Timni makare chalo gi gode madongo, ratiro mari chalo gi kut matut. Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, in ema irito ngima dhano gi le.
7 God, how priceless is your trustworthy love! Everyone can find protection under the shelter of your wings.
Mano kaka herani ma ok rum nengone tek, yaye Nyasaye! Joma idewo kaachiel gi joma ni piny yudo kar pondo margi e bwo tipo mar bwombeni.
8 They gain strength from the wonderful food you provide in your house; you give them drink from your refreshing river.
Gichamo chiemo mangʼeny e hekalu mari ka gimor; imiyogi math moa e aorani mar mor.
9 You are the source of life; you are the light by which we see.
Nimar in ema in gi soko mar pi mar ngima; kuom lerni ema wanenoe ler.
10 Extend your trustworthy love to those who know you, and your goodness to those who truly live right.
Med nyiso herani ni joma ongʼeyi, med nyiso timni makare ne joma gie chunygi ni kare.
11 Don't let the arrogant trample me down; don't let the wicked drive me out.
Mad tiend joma sungore kik nyona, kata lwet joma timbegi richo gola kama antie.
12 Now look! See how those who do evil have fallen—thrown down, unable to get up.
Neye kaka joma timo gik maricho oriere piny kopodho osedirgi piny ma ok ginyal aa malo!
