< Psalms 34 >
1 A psalm of David concerning the time he pretended to be mad in front of Abimelech who then sent him away. I will always bless the Lord; my mouth will continually praise him.
Wakhti kasta ayaan Rabbiga ammaani doonaa, Oo had iyo goorba ammaantiisu afkaygay ku jiri doontaa.
2 From the bottom of my heart I am proud of the Lord; those who are humble will hear and be happy.
Naftaydu waxay ku faani doontaa Rabbiga, Oo waxaa maqli doona kuwa camalka qabow, oo weliba way ku farxi doonaan.
3 Glorify God with me; together let's honor his reputation.
Rabbiga ila weyneeya, Oo aynu magiciisa wada sarraysiinno.
4 I asked the Lord for help, and he answered me. He set me free from all my fears.
Rabbigaan doondoonay, oo isna wuu ii jawaabay, Oo wuxuu iga samatabbixiyey waxyaalihii aan ka cabsaday oo dhan.
5 The faces of those who look to him will shine with joy; they will never be downcast with shame.
Iyagu waxay fiiriyeen isaga, oo way iftiimeen, Oo wejigooduna weligood ceeboobi maayo.
6 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard me, and saved me from all my troubles.
Ninkan miskiinka ahu wuu qayshaday, oo Rabbiguna wuu maqlay, Oo wuxuu ka badbaadshay dhibaatooyinkiisii oo dhan.
7 The angel of the Lord stands guard over all those who honor him, keeping them safe.
Malaa'igta Rabbigu waxay hareeraysaa kuwa isaga ka cabsada, Oo weliba way samatabbixisaa.
8 Taste, and you will see that the Lord is good! How happy are those who trust in his protection!
Bal dhadhamiya oo arka in Rabbigu wanaagsan yahay, Waxaa barakaysan ninkii isaga isku halleeya.
9 Show your reverence for the Lord, you who are his holy people, for those who respect him have everything they need.
Kuwiinna quduusiintiisa ahow; Rabbiga ka cabsada, Waayo, kuwa isaga ka cabsadaa waxba uma baahna.
10 Lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who trust in the Lord have all that is good.
Aaranka libaaxa wax baa ka dhimman, wayna gaajoodaan, Laakiinse kuwa Rabbiga doondoonaa wax wanaagsan uma baahnaan doonaan.
11 Children, listen to me! I will teach you how to respect the Lord.
Carruurtoy, kaalaya oo i dhegaysta, Oo anna waxaan idin bari doonaa Rabbiga ka cabsashadiisa.
12 Who of you wants to live a long and happy life?
Bal waa ayo ninka nolol jecel, Oo cimriga dheer doonayaa, Si uu wanaag u arko?
13 Then don't let your tongue speak evil, or your lips tell lies.
Carrabkaaga shar ka jooji, Bushimahaagana inay khiyaano ku hadlaan ka ilaali.
14 Reject what is evil, do what is good. Look for peace, and work to make it a reality.
Shar ka leexo, oo wanaag samee, Nabad doondoon, oo raacdayso iyada.
15 The Lord watches over those who do right, and he hears when they cry for help.
Rabbiga indhihiisu waxay fiiriyaan kuwa xaqa ah, Oo dhegihiisuna waxay u furan yihiin baryadooda.
16 The Lord sets himself against those who do evil. He will wipe out even the memory of them from the earth.
Wejiga Rabbigu waa ka gees kuwa sharka sameeya Inuu iyaga xusuustooda dhulka ka baabbi'iyo.
17 But when his people call out for help, he hears them and rescues them from all their troubles.
Kuwa xaqa ahu way qayshadeen, oo Rabbigaa maqlay, Oo wuxuu iyaga ka samatabbixiyey dhibaatooyinkoodii oo dhan.
18 The Lord is close beside those who are broken-hearted; he saves those whose spirits are crushed.
Rabbigu waa u dhow yahay kuwa dembigooda ka caloolyaysan, Oo kuwa ruuxoodu qoomamaysan yahayna wuu badbaadiyaa.
19 Those who do right have many problems, but the Lord solves all of them.
Kan xaqa ah dhibaatooyinkiisu way tiro badan yihiin, Laakiinse Rabbigu waa ka samatabbixiyaa dhammaantoodba.
20 He keeps them safe—not a single one of their bones will be broken.
Isagu wuxuu dhawraa lafihiisa oo dhan, Oo middoodna ma jabna.
21 Evil kills the wicked. Those who hate good people will suffer for their wrongdoing.
Xumaan baa dili doonta kuwa sharka leh, Oo kuwa neceb kan xaqa ahna waa la eedayn doonaa.
22 The Lord saves the lives of his servants. Those who trust in his protection will not suffer for their wrongdoings.
Rabbigu nafta addoommadiisa wuu soo furtaa, Oo kuwa isaga isku halleeya, midkoodna lama eedayn doono.
