< Psalms 29 >

1 A psalm of David. Honor the Lord, children of God, honor his glory and strength.
The salm, ethir song of Dauid. Ye sones of God, brynge to the Lord; brynge ye to the Lord the sones of rammes.
2 Honor the Lord for his glorious character, bow in reverence to the Lord in his brilliant holiness.

3 The Lord's voice sounds over the sea. The God of glory thunders. The Lord thunders over the vast ocean.
The vois of the Lord on watris, God of mageste thundride; the Lord on many watris.
4 The Lord's voice is powerful; the Lord's voice is majestic;
The vois of the Lord in vertu; the vois of the Lord in greet doyng.
5 the Lord's voice shatters the cedars, even breaking the cedars of Lebanon.
The vois of the Lord brekynge cedris; and the Lord schal breke the cedris of the Liban.
6 He makes the mountains of Lebanon skip like a calf, and Mount Hermon like a young wild ox.
And he schal al to-breke hem to dust as a calf of the Liban; and the derling was as the sone of an vnycorn.
7 The Lord's voice blazes out like lightning flashes.
The vois of the Lord departynge the flawme of fier;
8 The Lord's voice causes an earthquake in the desert; the desert of Kadesh shakes.
the vois of the Lord schakynge desert; and the Lord schal stire togidere the desert of Cades.
9 The Lord's voice makes the pregnant deer go into labor; it strips bare the forests. In his Temple all the worshipers shout, “Glory!”
The vois of the Lord makynge redi hertis, and he schal schewe thicke thingis; and in his temple alle men schulen seie glorie.
10 The Lord sits on his throne above the floodwaters; the Lord is the eternal King.
The Lord makith to enhabite the greet flood; and the Lord schal sitte kyng with outen ende.
11 The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses them with peace.
The Lord schal yyue vertu to his puple; the Lord schal blesse his puple in pees.
